@@BaRoNvOnToOtS yes I have it on the sales list around same price as the lvb x v you wanted prior 😂 . I'm gonna wait for the new trap to form though so people have a better idea how it will develop
Hey Wise, I am trying to make a terrarium with all of my expensive and rare nepenthes, but I have a question. Can I put springtails in there with them? Will it negatively affect the plants in any way? I would only put them in there to take care of the dead sphagnum moss. Also, beautiful plants! 👍
@@DroneShenanigans8 to my understanding, springtails are fine for nepenthes, they will usually in higher humidity pop out and live among the traps and hang out near the gland points similar to some beneficial predatory mites and ladybugs. However, they will eventually fall prey to the traps and act as fertilizer, It should be quite fine, I know some people also use nematodes that are fine for root structures and preying on bad bugs
@@aknerfer5095 macros are definitely harder and slower than Edwardsiana. 🤔 My highest is usually 60F for nights and my 3 do fine , but they can handle 50F iirc in some documentation 👍. Eddie's can handle intermediate conditions I've been told quite well 🤔and grow quicker
@ what about trusmadiensis? I’m thinking of starting with it bc it’s cheaper and if it grows well I’ll get a eddy, just cuz I don’t wanna kill such a expensive plant
@aknerfer5095 Trusmadiensis is hardy but slow and likes cooler temps then eddi, Briggsiana is a easier hybrid to try and cheaper 🤔 . Truncata x Eddy is also a easier one as is spath x Eddy , or even Glandulifera x Eddy if you want something similar in appearance
@@Wiseexotics hmm cuz trusmadi is a lot cheaper that’s why i wanted to start with it and then get eddy. I already have a briggsiana and i cant really find any of the other ones

Do you think nepenthes macro is easier then eddy? What’s the highest I should go for nighttime temps?
