I usually don’t comment on a lot of videos, but today I felt the need to. You do not need to apologize for your home and the fact that it might not be to others expectations. It’s a beautiful home and you’re a beautiful woman. Some people are not as fortunate as you to have their own house. Be proud of your accomplishments.

I mean, I have seen them. Many, many moons ago as a child. They were mostly documentaries, or some children's program.

I’m sure she is proud of her home and that she was able to make it happen for her family. Otherwise she would not be showing it on her TH-cam channel for content creation and making sure her viewers enjoy her content.
Nothing wrong with that. We all fix ourselves up or do certain things wondering how society will view us. You fix your hair and wear nice clothes so that you can look good in public. So if you have a TH-cam channel showing your home, it’s natural to want others to like what you’re showing 😊
Please don’t think that everyone in the United States lives in a big, stately house, Like you see on TH-cam. That is far from the truth. Most of us live in houses not as big as yours. But whatever size our house is, it is our home and we love to be there as long as there is peace and love inside.
Just my opinion, but “house” is the physical structure of the building you live in. A home is the love, laughter, emotion, etc. combined with the structure 😊
I’m 70 in USA, and do to circumstances beyond my control, I no longer have my own home. Your home is lovely and I give you my respect.

There is no need to apologise or expect anyone to be disappointed for the parts of your home not yet finished because the truth is that ALL of us who are lucky enough to have our own homes also have a (sometimes long!) list of unfinished or unstarted jobs to do there. I know I do. These things cannot happen overnight but need lots of time, money and labour. You will get there eventually, like the rest of us 💕

The buildings and your yard are an extension of your home. They are called out buildings, barns, chicken coop,garage(if you have a car that is where it goes). But your yard, garden,and outbuildings are still part of your home. Home is where we gather with family and friend’s make memory’s,celebrate birthdays, weddings and even grieve,cry, comfort each other. Home is where our heart is.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. My parents started with nothing and little by little, being frugal and hard working, they renovated and improved the home. Slow and steady. I highly recommend you sit with your husband and the kids who are of an age to comprehend. You write a list of all the things you want to do to your home and garden. Then look at your income. Work out your financial plan.
What can you realistically accomplish in Year 1. Then do Year 2, etc etc Every successful company has future plans written down. A family is a company. It’s the most important company.

I really like your blue doors. In the video they look bluish/greenish/gray ... it's very pretty. Your floors are beautiful, and those arched doorway openings are so nice! I actually like that tile, a lot!

Joyce first of all your house is beautiful even without completion secondly i would like to give you a little advice cos you asked for that about your sofa, the sofa you pushed towards where you going to have a tv and then no one can sit there and able to watch tv so my request is you bring that sofa in front of the dining table and push it a little bit further towards other sofas and arrange well and leave the doorway clear for you all to pass around through corridors to reach the kitchen the dining room if there’s not enough room for all the chairs you can manage to suit your family by yourself or how to arrange and cater for the family sorry i hope you don’t mind my say in this anyway your home is very beautiful even though not complete and this is called home where you and your family live together so please call this home and say my home tour when ever you show to your subscribers thanks have a wonderful time in your beautiful home with your family and love to you hard working husband and god bless you all

Don't be embarrassed. We are not disappointed. I love your beautiful doors and the ornate tile. Love the kitchen with the archway! I'm just being honest, I'm not sure exactly how I came across your channel, but I have to say, I'm so glad I did. First, there's no need to apologize for your house or living circumstances, by no means. And to answer your question you asked at the beginning..... what is the difference between a house and a home??? Well, to ME...a "house" is the actual building/structure in which you live in, a "home" is what you make out of...like the love you share, the meals you prepare, the memories that are made inside the "house". I hope that makes sense. I would love to have the beautiful view of your garden and all, that you have when you look out your windows. And be able to enjoy the simplicity of the day to day life, without having to always being feel as if I'm being rushed, and not being able to enjoy the present. And like I said, there's no need to apologize for anything....especially not because you and your family are living in your house while yall are in process of fixing it up. I'm just happy that yall have a roof over your heads. I have nothing but mad respect for you and your husband. And I'm being 100% genuine and have the utmost sincerity, when I say this, but watching this video has really humbled me, and it has literally made me stop and think and its made me see life in a WHOLE different way. In English, we have the expression: “making the house a home.” The “house” is the physical building, the wood and stone or whatever the house is made out of. The “home” is what we have when we live in a house and love the house and love our family with whom we share the house and love the things we put in our house because they remind us of people and places we have loved. A home is something of the heart. The house is just neutral until it is filled with love for people and animals and flowers, and beautiful things we love, or good smells of supper cooking, or the love and relaxation we feel when we can leave our jobs and come home. We would never feel that if our house were just a house. A house is in the physical world. A home is in the heart.
Your house is lovely exactly how it is. Even if it wasn't, the only thing that truly matters is that you and your family are comfortable and happy in it. The only decoration a home truly needs is love, and yours clearly has more than enough of that.

Yes I must agree with the last comment, you have a good home, and when you get it finished and you can start painting and adding a little colour and style, that's when you make it into your home. I live over in England, and when we buy a house yes it might be kitted out a little bit more, but to to make it your home, well that can take a lifetime. Let your house evolve with you, and don't forget the outside, having a good clean and tidy garden area can vastly improve the look of your home, and working in your own garden is a dream.
