The guy at about 12:57 with the Mack day cab, I see their trailers up and down the 401 from Quebec to London but always with Western Star 4900EX's but never seen a day cab with one. That Hermann’s truck is five minutes from my place about an hour north of Toronto. They have a fleet of smaller blower trucks that haul out tp parks and development areas.
Haha I could not help but smile that the lady could not hear you over your radio😁 I have tried it too😂. I was wondering if it would not be easier and faster with a trailer that could tip that compost ?.
well, yea but the walking floor is a safe way to do things that you can back into anywhere unlevel and unload with no issue.. dump trailers take perfectly flat ground to work or its going over haha
Okay, I have to agree with you. We had recently had someone drive with compost that overturned. So in return with the truck I drive with I can drive everything. Because it is divided in two and because it does not come so high up, it can also tip where there is a little uneven.😋😉
Of course, we also have trucks that drive with pallets and other moving goods, of course😆. But pretty much everything from the gravel pit and soil and natural stone is driven with a tipper trailer here in Denmark🇩🇰⛟💨

Sorry for all the comments but I have a question. When your fully loaded, whats your 5th wheel suspension gauge sitting at? I ask because with my truck, I've slid the 5th wheel right to the back but I still find i need to drop my 4th axle even with only 65,000 lbs or else my 5th wheel suspension gauge is ready between 80-100 psi which is way to high. I hauled a load of beer outta London last week weighing in at 85,320 lbs, which is still legal for a quad (barely) and even with all wheels down i was still reading over 80 psi. I was scared I was gonna blow an air bag, or worse, but she held up. Thank God I was only going to Mississauga with it but still, I had Putnam to worry about. It worked out as only Westbound was open at that time. Any thoughts?
80-100 psi wont blow the bags. Every truck is different as fat as psi to axle weight. The more u move the fifthwheel back the more you put on the drives. Move it forwards to get some off drivea and onto steers
@@RodeoJoe1981 I've actually had air bags blow with less then that, especially along the 401 in certain areas but ill give that a shot. My concern with moving it forward is that my fuel tanks are forward so with full tanks (dual 150's) I might be over on the steers. Its funny, 17 years driving and I've never had this issue with a truck and I've hauled anything from a single axle pup to a 7 axle b train. Usually moving the 5th wheel back will put more weight on the trailer but in this case it doesn't seem to be working. I appreciate your help and I will give that a shot. It just goes to show that your never to experienced to run into issues you've never faced before. Thanks again driver.
