@@chingchenhanji Yes but not with his heimer supp. Around the time he played that game, he started otping ww top and is realy grinding solo queue in preseason rn. So it looks like he found his playstyle + OTPing is the best strat to learn and climb no`?
One time I was flamed for not being at teamfight because I was defending nexus from split pusing fiora. Funny enough it wasn't a teamfight for an objective, it was just 4 teammates mindlessly going top for no reason and getting stomped by fed enemy team
Lmao had this exact same thing happen two days ago. I was playing panth top and I managed to split push their top to tier 2 tower and started recalling. Meanwhile, my team was behind, all of them but they decided to pull the good ol' 4v4 all in on mid, 20 sec before baron was up and 5 sec before fiora was up. Fiora had TP and our bot inhib was gone already but their minions were in our base, so I knew that Fiora will most likely ditch the top as I am not there anymore and simply TP to our base. My team died, they did kill two though and then everyone started flamming me as fuck, then I pinged Fiora's TP and sure enough, two sec later, she TP's in our base and I was the only one to stop 3v1 siege and I actually did stop them from ending. I tried to explain to my team that if I died with them, we would lose as we would all be dead for another 20-30 sec and Fiora would solo end it ez. They still kept flamming me xD Fucking low elo is hell man.
Wow, at least they were going top. I had many games where my 4 teammates (in ranked) didn't leave mid for 20 minutes. They were playing ARAM. I dont know why they decided that if they can't push mid 20 times before, 21 would be successful
The most frustrating part of solo queue is the fact that your team mates expect you to follow their calls (and flame you if you don't) while always blatantly ignoring any calls anyone other than themselves make.
The tip on "understanding why you're making your choices" that lifelong advice, not just for the game. People don't respect "understanding" things, so if anything happens, it happened "out of nowhere" relinquishing any accountability
The most annoying thing about low elo flamers is that once they get upset once, EVERYTHING you do is wrong for some reason. Even if it's not your fault... Bot died in a gank while you were top farming Gromp? Well, guess all your calls are bad and you don't deserve
not even just that, remember these are the same players who went 0/4 in lane and now are spam pinging you to gank their draven while they have half an item at 20 with 30 cs
had a game like that yesterday, played ekko jg and my draven went 1/4 in less than 10 minutes, my supp friend was very annoyed at it and so he kinda ditched him and started roaming, the draven was obviously mad at him and at me for not ganking once? (i started blue and there was a nasus in enemy team, so that was a bit more important) anyways, once i make my way to bot to gank, we got one kill with naut being low and my draven started spam pinging, like bro who tf are you to tell me what to do? there is an objective up nearby
@@nu_kercat1 yeah as a jg player it literally happens every game where people will spam ping you for anything (they messed up their wave and now it’s your fault, they died in a 1v1 at level 2 and it’s your fault, you didn’t want to coinflip baron so half your team dies etc) and worst of all now they’re coming into your jg to start farming your camps and buffs because they have 4cs/min and it’s your fault for not ganking their 6/0 laner who one shots both of you
I love the ending of this guide, because as they are winning and super ahead the support is calling to surrender because in his mind the best player in the team is bad. I bet after the game he says the sivir was carried, dude literally throws an ff vote with 2 inhibs down with a CHALLENGER player in his team.
@@PassivesAbseits nah fam, just bc someone watches the content doesnt make them a genius. Remember, the same way a majority of players r low elo, a majority who watch this content dont apply the knowledge
@@flowbie-1336 I don’t think the point is that people who watch these videos are inherently good, it’s that they are trying to improve, and people who are trying to improve don’t freak out and flame their teammates
I actually just had someone drop an ff vote because we lost barely 1 fight up 25 kills to 5. No one else voted to ff and we ended the game 5 minutes later.
These types of players prefer to lose LP just so they can flame you and feel good about their petty little selves rather than actually win and improve. It's quite phenomenal
Totally true, sometimes I didn't follow a support, he ended up dead and since I was fed I was carrying the game, but he wanted to surrender just to make me lose, or abandoned the fight to get me killed. Some people doesn't care about winning, they want to be the one that holds the truth.
I have no problem flaming my adc and sometimes that cause them to afk or feed...but it far more worth it when i leave that worthless adc...group with my team and win a 4v5 and ping the adc and mockingly give praise to the afk adc...all you adc gj...usually as they are dead again...adc will watch this video and think they are a challenger god try to split push and die...
@@sonaleaguetv7747 lmao, most of the time my when i play adc my support leaves lane so that he can "help" other lanes but instead he feeds them making the game unwinable.
@@samogx86 Ikr, it's so surreal, this happens in every elo btw, even in master gm. People care soo much about being right or proving a point this way, it's so disgusting. They're often both losing you lp and trying to make you look wrong and dumb. Like how is this an accomplishment for some is surreal and disappointing. Many times you can't even do anything about it when 2 of ur teammates are doing this in ur game. This game became a fight of egos more than a fight for nexuses.
One thing i dont like about this video is that i didnt see Sivir ping once for his team to back off. If you see a potential danger they dont and are not willing to commit to a play they want atleast what you can do is ping for them to go back. Now if they listen, cool, if not, it doesnt change the outcome of you making a different play. Its like 2 seconds to spam ping quickly. Pings can get ignored but they also helped in so many situations.
ye true, I'm no pro, just a plat 2 but while playing with silver or bronze teams, i mute everyone, yet still ping to the best of my ability (without annoying spams) to my surprise, sometimes they listen.
It's better to just ignore them. Once someone is tilted and spam ping, if you try to reason back at them, they will turn you into their enemy and will do everything in their power to hinder you.
Whenever I back, and the team is pinging me to stay, if I decide to back anyway, I ping them off. It doesn't usually matter, but, if I ping them back up a couple times while I'm channeling and a couple times after I got back to fountain, I gave them every chance to notice I'm not going to be there and then notice that I'm actually not there. Then when they say "why did you back?!?!?!"
Yup pretty much. I had a kindred game where I had 5 deaths several minutes in because the fizz was hunting me so hard I couldn’t even get 6. Eventually I ended the game full build with 9 stacks just because I focused on taking kills I knew I could get and camps where I could. The game wouldn’t have been possible without the garen and yasuo who got fed in lane to offset the awful bot lane we had , I just made sure to try and be consistent enough to offset the problems present.
I legitimately hit gold for the first time just a few weeks ago following your advice! I get a ton of teammates flaming and pinging but that's par for the course. I'm so happy to be doing better in ranked, even if I just watch the free videos from TH-cam
Some times I feel I am stupid for doing some stuff that my whole team disagrees. I've been a challenger from season 3 through season 5, quit the game for quite a lot of time and now I am mechanically stuck on diamond/low master. Most of the time I just ignore them, but it happens so often that even when I am 3 levels ahead of my lane opponent and I am being pinged, I really feel like something is off. Watching these guides from people that do this for living and confirming that, even tho I have bad games, most of my decisions are correct, just make me realize that elo hell will never end until im high challenger again.
Tip for low elo recalls: You can hold Alt and click on almost any button/number/picture to post it in chat. Ping your gold amount, mana, the item you want to buy, ults cooldowns, ward charges, and whatever other reason you want. Then, ping the recall button. You have plenty of time during the recall animation. Giving out reasons helps them understand why and think along your brain. In fact, feel free to point these things out even when not recalling, during ping exchanges.
Yeah I agree. I myself need to ping more to communicate however if ur teammate still pings or flames u after u do this then I would rather focus on thinking about my itemisation and what to do after leaving base rather than pinging.
Great Guide, however, I think some low elo players are so quick to follow on bad calls because you're often told that a bad play executed together is still better than the "right play". Another reason might be because they aren't using their critical thinking skills.
Well thats the thing often playing together with the team doing the wrong play is more likely to work out because its a team game and even if you're doing something solo it still requires the rest of your team to play correctly as well. If you're 30 minutes in and you're split pushing as an adc because you think it's a good idea to get gold and you know your team comp can turtle while you get gold it's still not the correct play if you also know your team doesn't want to do that and will likely just fight. You're better off being with them to win the fight rather than 4 of your team dying and you being left to 1v4 at baron
Skill Capped themselves said that the wrong play together is better than the right play solo in one of their videos. They do have far more videos advocating split pushing though.
@@biofreak03 Well skillcapped and some of the other coaching sites like to make themselves sound very certain in videos as it sounds more authoritative, it's something politicians do alot by just sounding confident about something people believe you and think you're a reliable source without much personal research into the subject. This has the problem with that they also need to constantly make videos for revenue and will end up contradicting themselves a lot.
i was flamed for killing minions with that one support item. And for "stealing" kills with pyke R. And for sacrificing myself to defend my adc worth 400 gold. And for NOT sacrificing myself when i was worth 300G and my adc was useless. Being a support is hell
Hey skill capped, I just want to say thank you, The advice that you gave in this video was very helpful to me in many areas in my life, These principles are very transferable to learning other things: - self focus: focusing on what YOU want to do, YOUR gameplan, and sticking to it. Don’t allow yourself to be pulled into doing what others want you to do simply because you want their approval. Don’t try and please others, compare yourself to others, or prove yourself to others (doing all of this tends to lead to a painful learning process), instead be very self-focused (this means focusing on what you’re doing, not what someone else is doing) - focusing on growth vs. focusing on results (results oriented thinking): when you only measure your progress based on your results, it can make you think that you’re “winning” (because you got good results) when you're actually “losing” in the long term, because you’re not learning anything - know what you want to do & why: Understanding WHY you want to make your decision will help you to stay focused if/when others are ridiculing you for your choice. Thinking through your decision before you do it, is much better than simply going with the flow of what others want to do, and not knowing why you are doing it. You need to actually think about your decisions before you make them Accidentally stumbling into the right decision sometimes won’t help you grow/progress When I was younger I used to play basketball, (which is also a 5v5 game) but when I played I was very focused on pleasing others, and I constantly switch my game plan to try and do what others wanted me to do, It made the learning process very stressful, and I wish I had understood and implemented this advice when I was learning to “climb” faster and enjoy the process more I was so attracted to this channel (even though I don’t play league currently) because you guys have truly mastered the art of teaching in a simple, succinct, and easy-to-understand way, not to mention having high quality production and visuals (for visual learners like myself) and great, (at times) universally applicable advice.
My Macro isn't great but this perfectly describes my life as an adc main and brings light to why I stopped climbing when I started listening to all the call they talked about. It was a perfect depiction of 90% of my games!
Its actually very similar in Dota when you convert this onto the Game. Especially from the Gameplay mentality this is really fascinating. What i teach new players usually is to play every role to some degree, you don't need to play the Role on the Level equally to your rank but you need to understand other roles and see Gameplay out of their perspective. You get automatically a much more clean and rational view on the Game. I am mainly playing Support in Dota, we have 2 Support Roles generally speaking, our Pos 4 what in League is the jungle is in Dota more of a second Support who lanes with the Offlane and most of the time enables plays for the team. Making calls for your team is good, but you need to have a good understanding of it though. I am mainly playing Position 5 and Support the Carry, of course i have my opinion on things and i sometimes get frustrated when we don't punish mistakes, but in the end that is irrelevant, if i see my Carry does weird things then i just clinge myself onto my other heroes and play the 4-1 System (which is in Dota in higher ranked pubs very common). You group up as 4 and let the ADC or Carry farm. Alternatively you can also play the 3-2 depending on the picks. Of course league is different in regard, since i am playing league on a relatively low level (circling around Gold 1 - Platinum 4) since i don't know every in and out of the Game and do also a lot of bad mistakes its difficult for me, since i am bad at calculating plays and Damage outputs. Another tip i would give to players, be concious about your weaknesses and spot players in your Game that seem to be more comfortable and better in things you aren't so good at. Play around your strengths and use them!
When it comes to Dota I only know 1 biggest diff compared to league (not Dota player btw). "Die and feed a death in Dota for early game vision by support is acceptable." --> apparently the players say trading that 1 death for deep vision to know enemy's rotation is WORTH... guess that's what happens when the game don't have fixed roles for every lane.
@@Rncko well this depends on the Situation and what is going on in the Game. You can say its worth in the early Game if they have Cores that are jungling a lot and with deep vision you can kill them over and over. But in higher Ranked Matches the enemies are usually aware of it and will deny all of your vision you are trying to place. Besides that dying as a Support what in League would be considered feeding is when your Core is farming flash farming Jungle and Lane (Yes in Dota it works like that) to tank incomming Ganks as a Support so your Core is not dying and has enough time to run away. That is a pretty common tactic in higher ranked matches, but not many people understand how it works... but that is not a free "i can feed card", this is only considered good if the circumstances are enforcing that playstyle
@@Plaxer02 I heard from last year TI caster. Yes, game start and one team alrd lead by 1 kill & nobody bat an eye for it & even heard some caster said its a mistake for the team to hunt that 1 isolated enemy with 4 members and wasted time.
Something I've noticed is that Hector doesn’t ping their teammates to tell them that they shouldn’t keep going, IMO he should be pinging to tell them not to engage because it’s not worth ir
100%. This is so dumb, but they're doing it to garner views. Sadly. 2:34 ward tri. Back ping heimrdinger to communicate intent. Sit a bit further back. He could prevent death, and bronze adc who stand that far up will not be able to mechanically avoid the gank, so this video seems to be off on a terrible start. Bronze adc don't have the mechanical skill of a challenger.
Exactly. Just ping retreat multiple times if your team mates is about to do something dumb. Not pinging at all and doing whatever you want is bad team play.
I mean how many times have you tried to convince unreasonable people and it still doesnt change their mind and they double down or get offended you dare tell them what to do. I feel like some people are totally willing to flip the board game off the table if they so much as sniff any inkling of "disrespect".
Diamond 4 ADC main here, I got super flamed by a bronze 1 player for not buying LDR on Ezreal and having serylda's. It's real amusing watching the low elo bains go boom trying to comprehend our decisions
08:00 The malphite analogy is exactly what a friend of mine does every time he plays malphite or any big engage champ. 😂 He runs in randomly, ults and then spam pings everyone asking why we didn't follow. Meanwhile we're literally on the other side of the map, taking turrets and stuff just laughing at him.
Ah yes. If I have 220 Cs and 15 kills before 30 minutes AND get all the bounties on a carry AND the enemies never focus me together, wow. So skilled. Why did hector's team not have 3 losing lanes and 4 people bot all game like my losing games? Oh because this wasn't a losing game. It was a free win and heimer was just a scripted duo trying to throw.
What do you do when that same support starts sabotaging the game? Like literally they do all that pinging then start stealing farm and or follow you around to steal farm. What do you do in those situations? Is there a video for that.
the amount of times this will happen is such a statistical anomaly in comparison to an entire games of games played that it simply isnt worth mentioning. In these rare cases tho just ignore, report, and move on :D
This is one of the most important videos on the channel for low elo players. This type of things happen CONSTANTLY, and I've always been conflicted on wether to follow my teammates or follow proper gameplan.
as a diamond player its so funny being flamed for making the right decision in gold or lower. they're gold or lower for a reason they don't understand the game. if you're not at minimum platinum if you're trying to improve never listen to your teammates. macro in gold and lower is absolutely atrocious they'll make the wrong choice almost every time.
So, here's what I don't get: what are diamond and plat players doing in gold, silver or even bronze games? Sometimes I don't even understand who these videos are for. Are they aimed at entitled players who think they're better than everyone else at their rank, but stuck? Are they aimed at smurfs playing in lower elos to mitigate their frustration by telling them lower elo players are trash compared to them? (duh) That Heirmendinger is clearly an idiot because he's flaming. But what do plat and diamond players expect when playing in lower elos? Of course their teammates will make mistakes they wouldn't lmao This is legitimately annoying. I'm somewhat new to the game (level 40 and no rank) and all I do is run into "bronze" teammates complaining about my macro or my knowledge about enemy champions (160 champs btw). Just play at your elo ffs
@@florinalinmarginean1135 Some people can't climb anymore so they smurf and like the feeling of stomping on lower skill players, but I think a guide like this could help to improve poor game choices.
Yeah, there are lots of bad decisions, like chasing a champ with low hp but high mobility or trying to kill the tank just because he has 1/5 of hp while ignoring the ADC or tf against a fed team over and over again.
I started to play like this this season (idk know why, it just happened) and it feels so much better. Even when I lose my lane, I mostly don't have more than 3 deaths and more farm than my enemy and it's so much more fun that way :D Even though it's still hard when you face a 10/0 Top and jgl after 5 minutes lol
Most unskilled, untalented players are spending time reacting by complaining and whining, while totally being unaware of their countless weaknesses and shortcomings. Which is the same reason why they stay stagnant. It's a catch-22 most people never break their whole lives.
Sometimes my support starts to roam for no reason, or my team starts to fight with no objectives in mind, just trying to get kills, I usually try to keep farming but then they start to flame me, so I go and join them and then we all die and I fall behind even more.
Sometimes I'm boosting my friends and I see low elo in person. When players don't listen calls like objectives, or idea of not taking all fights possible. That warding is important, and when you don't see enemy on the map, you should assume they are close to you so you should run back.
Sure this Will work most of the times untill plat Problem is also when somebody in your team is making better call than you have ego You can also try to convince your team like pinging danger Sometimes it's better to follow bad call than have a guy run into towers and be 0/20 or even if you are adc and that red would help your team. Teaking that red can Break your teammate ego Soemtimes your dumb jungler needs 250 gold for power spike (possibly tanky item) and it's a last camp and all waves are pushed and dragon is in 40 sec Sure you can get your half item but when your bad teammate pings his gold/item and missing X amount of gold consider it Sometimes you can also have good player in your team that was super close all early game but didn't do well early on Just because someone is 0/5 does not always mean he is trash, think about how the game was played maby guy is accualy 0/5/15 and got his teammates a lot of kills, maby got objectives traded for his death, maby he burned enemy ults and summoners didn't get assist but your team wiped thanks to it and you are not aware Maby you have 4 items enemy has 3 and your "bad teammate" has 2 but been comming back and 3rd item is his power spike, consider your 5th item may not be as good as your "bad teammate" 3rd one Maby if you are solo killing weak toplaner somebody that is behind all game could get that kill instead or even just that assist, lets say that person was cutting out that person route and you are fed guy with full build but you still want stat, make sure you don't get killed cose of it and communicate you would die if you tried to give away that kill As jungler Sometimes it's bad decision trying to give kill to your team cose fight can be turned from it as well Had a guy run into Tower cose I didn't give him the kill when I was low hp and guy was low hp Had ganks when both teammate and enemy is low, could just jungler get the kill and laner dont risk comming for assist/kill so they die for free/just assist/kill or worst case give enemy kill and reset, lvl up, hp back from rune even mobility from dashing away when your jungler Combo gets wasted or comming into Darius when your have 4 stacks on you Consider People and communicate Don't let your ego or your teammate ego throw that game
The biggest problem is you have to go with your team mates dumb plays or they'll start inting out of their mind, at least in bronze/silver, lucky his support was gold. You have to at least PRETEND that you're doing what your team mates want, so they don't throw.
It's almost every other game these days if you do something against a toxic tilted players judgement they will just aimlessly run around blowing summs for the next 15 minutes. So very common it's hard to want to queue up anymore.
I fully believe in this method. I couldn't get back to gold after starting to OTP Samira in S11 on NA. I moved to Europe and easily got gold on 2 of my accounts playing like this as OTP Samira in S12 on EUW. I did get flamed A LOT, but I won way more late game than any other season. The reality is that non-ADC mains just don't understand the role well in low elo. Most support mains in gold and below don't even understand the level 2 power spike or even the most basic wave manipulation. My mechanics suck. If I can get to gold anyone can do it just by using their brain a bit more.
@@BenAndSamS LOL, I wish I could agree, but I can't. The players on EUW are significantly better at rank parity with exception of the ADCs. ADC is probably even at rank parity.
There's this one instance where my mid laner got ganked. I was playing pyke with my ult up. I went up and not only kept my mid alive, but also got 2 execution. My adc died and called me an idiot for and I quote "Left the game carry died" He played ezreal with flash up against Lulu and Twitch. So unless he just walked up without taken into consideration about that little rat, he ain't dying anytime soon
As a support, I have a problem with ADC's not auto attacking. I play braum, and every game there is a time when both of us could be saved if just 1 more auto got hit for the stun, and there's just no auto attack and we both die because of it. Also when it's a match-up that I know we beat level 1, and know that they will outscale us by level 6, my adc refuses to fight with me.
you don't need to watch a 14 minute video to understand why you're getting flamed by a gold elo support. it's because they're piss horrible at the game and they don't think. I got you guys, it's no problem.
I don't know about this guide chief. The only reason this style of gameplay works is because Sivir is a challenger player in gold, I don't think your average plat adc can solo carry a game by hoarding gold for himself.
The problem I’ve seen in solo queue-your team over and over takes 3v4 fights that they expect you to come to and coin flip with them. So, you don’t go, they lose, over and over, until the game is unwinnable. But, if you go, and do win, then you can maybe win the game. So. What would you do in that situation? You have to lose farm because otherwise they will literally int on cooldown
Got to master în my 3rd season and i decided to play in low elo for the preseason to help my friends. I get triple the amount of hate when i try to push when i want to take objectives. The ego some players have in this elo. Lol
The sentence if your teammates make poor decisions and die it doesn’t matter if you stick to the fundamentals hits different when you stomp top and suddenly go up against the 16/0 adc
Most of the calls I ever make is for people to back off, I ping danger on them at lest twice. Often it's 2 people trying to push in as their team revives, or our team is doing other things split and someone is pushing up with no team pressure. I make sure to ping well before it's too late and not when they are getting attacked or dead. I feel like everyone likes having a team mate like that to remind you to look at your gosh darned map.
Not gonna lie, hector not typing, pinging and communicating is also the reason why they lost. If you ARE confident in your decisions, at least ping and tell them. Some are smart enough to listen, although most are still too dumb to listen.
as a support main, adapt to what your adc does. If he does nothing, poke if you can, but do nothing extravagant because nothing good will come from you doing shit alone and dying
I had a brand like this the other day. I felt bad for him because he just kept dying 1v2ing trying to poke I guess. Like bro, smoke some weed and chill back here with me farmvilling the minions yo
Often team mates blame you for not engaging a lost fight its pretty annoying. Just because you dont play like they want you to you get flamed. Then at the end of the game you won because you were able tk trade soul for baron. These low elo players are annoying as hell.
Literally the only person I trust when playing Leg is my DuoQ partner. And a lot of that's because we've been playing leg together for years and are mostly on the same page. It says something when being able to trust (1) teammate with basic tasks makes the game so much more enjoyable.
ADC's have 46% winrate in all regions on all skill levels, 44% winrate in master & challenger. ADC is a bad role in general. Their kit sucks, the champions are built wrong. And crit is among the worst stats in the game (after HP).
A bit thing that this video fails to understand is that most of the time, dying with your team on a bad call is a sacrifice you have to make so that they don't run down or grief you. I know that farming this wave with 2 cannon is far more important than being with my team who are currently fighting inside the unwarded enemy jungle when we're behind, but I also know that if I don't join them, some of them will be so pissed that I didn't come with them that they'll start griefing me, run it down and type in chat for the rest of the game instead of playing even tho they're muted. --- The real macro skill of solo queue is making quick decisions as to if the objectivelly correct macro play is actually WORTH IT over the mental of your teamates.
You can prevent a lot of that by clearly communicating intent 1-2 minutes in advance. Not that it will work every time, but your team will at least be able to predict where you'll be next. 🤔 this video seem really bad.
No no dont' do that, it's not like all games all players trying to grief you. We can just see those as bad luck games and just report them for trolling. Pings are enough
Yea, doing what this guide says and then losing because 4 of your teammates ff'ed. But this guide also is a reason toxic stuff happens. Understanding the best decisions and context is harder to be done by a silver/gold who watched this video. And they might also not be mechanically as good as to not get caught by a Nautilus hook and die. So people will just watch a video and get the Main Character mentality. Which is bad. You are silver/gold, your enemies are silver/gold... you don't have to carry every game. Some games you carry, some you get carried. It is important not to feed and try your best. Most silvers/golds don't know the game good enough to actually apply the concepts perfectly and get a win... And if you just apply half of them correctly, you will be trolling your game into a loss. Like, if you farm the whole game like in this video, and then you do a bad play (because you are lower elo) and get caught (if they had vision in that bush where Sivir was, for example), you'll throw your game... Also, Sivir in this game never pings teammates to back off. I always try to comunicate what I intend to do and what I think the best play for others are (so if I try to get a gank from my jg, I will ping him, then omw on him, then push to red, krugs, then omw to bot, then ping me and omw to bot.) And then I start preparing the wave for a gank. My winrate went to 58% since I started doing this, I climbed from Bronze 3 where League put me and hit Gold 4 last night, after 2 weeks and of playing. I just started playing again after a year of a break. Tbh, I think I am going to drop the game again tho, because I play until I get gold for the skin in every season. Will see... But yeah, it is very important to ping stuff. People in low elo are so afraid of baron, they don't even ward it. In many games we did baron as soon as it came up and ended right away because the enemy team thinks that if they are ignoring baron, we will too...
in lower elo like bronze or silver it's sometimes even worse to make the right decision, your mid laner will leave as a wave crashes their turret for the worst roam youve ever seen and you can ping it out 15 times and your bot lane will still some how not notice, die in a 3v2 that was so clearly telegraphed, and then ping you for making the decision to stay in lane and get first turret and a 25cs lead, it's hilarious
Real nice, personally I wouldnt have baited myself for baron since I'm just playing with a bunch of animals that wont make use of baron anyone because they try to buff the jungle camps it seems and I need to guide them towards the enemy nexus like an elo cowboy with my horses and donkeys
I feel like the worst they are the more they flame. Maybe because constantly blaming someone else for your mistakes doesn't push you to improve? I dunno.
sadly out of the whole video the majority of low elo players will only hear: "don't listen to your teammates calls" which will only result in an even more split up teams and toxicity. remember most of the players are still kids who only hear stuff that makes them special
I mean making your own decisions is cool and all but in low elo we all think we are right so sometimes to win you just have to compromise and listen to the idiot teamates because unless you are that much and you know you can 1v9, they will int too far for you to recover the game alone and thats not even mentioning every1 going mental boom and afk bcs you ignore them. Welcome to gold!
Skill capped, I respectfully disagree with the decision not to fight at 6:06, unless if either Cass or Vi is fed, fighting is a good decision because Sivir excels at teamfighting more than turret seiging AND if Sivir showed up, he would've had the numbers advantage. A 4v3 with a fed Sivir, IMO, it's not a coinflip since you have an advantage.

One time I was flamed for not being at teamfight because I was defending nexus from split pusing fiora. Funny enough it wasn't a teamfight for an objective, it was just 4 teammates mindlessly going top for no reason and getting stomped by fed enemy team
cant really blame them either,
thats top tier pro NA move
Sounds ligit, a hunch of cavemen all they want to do is fight screw towers rush bad dragons and back for baron instead of end game
Funnily enough, bad dragon is the name of a dildo
The most frustrating part of solo queue is the fact that your team mates expect you to follow their calls (and flame you if you don't) while always blatantly ignoring any calls anyone other than themselves make.
true, even I am to blame sometimes, especially as JG.

The most annoying thing about low elo flamers is that once they get upset once, EVERYTHING you do is wrong for some reason. Even if it's not your fault...
Bot died in a gank while you were top farming Gromp? Well, guess all your calls are bad and you don't deserve
Don't get fooled, it begins even before they get upset, this is who they are all the time.
The default for anything is to blame jungle
not even just that, remember these are the same players who went 0/4 in lane and now are spam pinging you to gank their draven while they have half an item at 20 with 30 cs
had a game like that yesterday, played ekko jg and my draven went 1/4 in less than 10 minutes, my supp friend was very annoyed at it and so he kinda ditched him and started roaming, the draven was obviously mad at him and at me for not ganking once? (i started blue and there was a nasus in enemy team, so that was a bit more important)
anyways, once i make my way to bot to gank, we got one kill with naut being low and my draven started spam pinging, like bro who tf are you to tell me what to do? there is an objective up nearby
With a challenger duo acting like a flamer so they can farm content. 10/10 meme tier.

Im willing to bet Hector was just really annoyed at heim and thats why he didnt. tilt happens in every elo
ye true, I'm no pro, just a plat 2 but while playing with silver or bronze teams, i mute everyone, yet still ping to the best of my ability (without annoying spams) to my surprise, sometimes they listen.

It feels like sometimes the goal of adc is just to farm the whole game until you you're fed enough to carry one team fight that ends the game
That is ADC at its core. You either get fed in lane or its a 30 minute farm
That is the goal. That's why ADC items are so expensive.

Congratz Mate! I sadly didn't hit gold in the last 2 seasons, maybe I will make it this season again :D
gl with these teammates in plat+ while the opposing team has d3+ players.
I hope by bad games u don't mean 0-10...
And they'll still complain about the recall.
Yeah, that's my problem with hector in this video. He never pings, if he did that, maybe his team would do better..
thanks for. the tip
Lowkey I never knew this was how that was done lol thank you
Great Guide, however, I think some low elo players are so quick to follow on bad calls because you're often told that a bad play executed together is still better than the "right play".
@@biofreak03 I'm not really saying they're contradicting themselves. Just offering a different perspective on that specific topic.
I think those videos usually focus on jungle role in the mid to late game.
i was flamed for killing minions with that one support item. And for "stealing" kills with pyke R. And for sacrificing myself to defend my adc worth 400 gold. And for NOT sacrificing myself when i was worth 300G and my adc was useless. Being a support is hell
also i don't sacrifice myself anymore because the adc always thinks i'm engaging a fight and dies. Even when i ping to retreat
/mute all is still proving to be the best feature in game,13 seasons STRONG
Problem is typically all gold adc seem to think they are the master/chall adc when in reality they are simply making bad calls
Hey skill capped, I just want to say thank you,
The advice that you gave in this video was very helpful to me in many areas in my life,
These principles are very transferable to learning other things:
- self focus:
focusing on what YOU want to do, YOUR gameplan, and sticking to it. Don’t allow yourself to be pulled into doing what others want you to do simply because you want their approval. Don’t try and please others, compare yourself to others, or prove yourself to others (doing all of this tends to lead to a painful learning process), instead be very self-focused (this means focusing on what you’re doing, not what someone else is doing)
- focusing on growth vs. focusing on results (results oriented thinking):
when you only measure your progress based on your results, it can make you think that you’re “winning” (because you got good results) when you're actually “losing” in the long term, because you’re not learning anything
- know what you want to do & why:
Understanding WHY you want to make your decision will help you to stay focused if/when others are ridiculing you for your choice. Thinking through your decision before you do it, is much better than simply going with the flow of what others want to do, and not knowing why you are doing it. You need to actually think about your decisions before you make them
Accidentally stumbling into the right decision sometimes won’t help you grow/progress
When I was younger I used to play basketball, (which is also a 5v5 game) but when I played I was very focused on pleasing others, and I constantly switch my game plan to try and do what others wanted me to do, It made the learning process very stressful, and I wish I had understood and implemented this advice when I was learning to “climb” faster and enjoy the process more
I was so attracted to this channel (even though I don’t play league currently) because you guys have truly mastered the art of teaching in a simple, succinct, and easy-to-understand way, not to mention having high quality production and visuals (for visual learners like myself) and great, (at times) universally applicable advice.
This is true indeed. Very well said.
"Die and feed a death in Dota for early game vision by support is acceptable."
--> apparently the players say trading that 1 death for deep vision to know enemy's rotation is WORTH... guess that's what happens when the game don't have fixed roles for every lane.
@@Rncko yep thats true, and the casters in Dota themselves are usually pretty high rank, so they know what they are talking about

I feel like some people are totally willing to flip the board game off the table if they so much as sniff any inkling of "disrespect".
also why is youtube recommending this year old video to me on my front page?

Meanwhile we're literally on the other side of the map, taking turrets and stuff just laughing at him.
Ah yes. If I have 220 Cs and 15 kills before 30 minutes AND get all the bounties on a carry AND the enemies never focus me together, wow. So skilled.
Why did hector's team not have 3 losing lanes and 4 people bot all game like my losing games? Oh because this wasn't a losing game. It was a free win and heimer was just a scripted duo trying to throw.
I remember playing yuumi and being flame by my ADC for ditching him to follow Irelia...who was fed and carried the game
you should be flamed just for playing yuumi, but other than that ye sure
What do you do when that same support starts sabotaging the game? Like literally they do all that pinging then start stealing farm and or follow you around to steal farm. What do you do in those situations? Is there a video for that.
I usually just outplay them and get all the farm anyway
the amount of times this will happen is such a statistical anomaly in comparison to an entire games of games played that it simply isnt worth mentioning.
(duh)
That Heirmendinger is clearly an idiot because he's flaming. But what do plat and diamond players expect when playing in lower elos? Of course their teammates will make mistakes they wouldn't lmao
This is legitimately annoying.
3:12 maybe the best tip I have heard so far.
0:00 And every jungler knows the pain of being flamed by their team for existing
I love how the heimer said "stop farming" like that's not the ADCs main job
"It's not that I can't hear you, I'm just actively ignoring you"
Most unskilled, untalented players are spending time reacting by complaining and whining, while totally being unaware of their countless weaknesses and shortcomings.
I mean, to be fair there could be a lot that Sivir could say. Letting your team know your intentions can save them from baiting themselves
I love adding the randoms here you call out and telling them about the videos
My decision making skills: "If we go together we're more likely to succeed"
Mines: *hears pinging* > *drops everything* > I am coming friends!
Why are people smurfing so much in league like if ur complaining just go to ur elo. Sure its fun for u but the rest?
Send this video to Heimer pls xD
The main takeaway is that you can listen to your teammates, but only if you see sense in that
As a prior support, the support's only job is to support not dictate.
That's why i never play botlane, you need to type fast /mute all
Still make sure that your teammates know what you are doing though. Always ping them back if you think they are making a mistake.
Sometimes I'm boosting my friends and I see low elo in person. When players don't listen calls like objectives, or idea of not taking all fights possible. That warding is important, and when you don't see enemy on the map, you should assume they are close to you so you should run back.
Every meta is team fighting meta in low elo. ᕙ( ͡◉ ͜ ʖ ͡◉)ᕗ
needed to hear that as a adc thank you!
Sure this Will work most of the times untill plat
Problem is also when somebody in your team is making better call than you have ego
You can also try to convince your team like pinging danger
Sometimes it's better to follow bad call than have a guy run into towers and be 0/20 or even if you are adc and that red would help your team. Teaking that red can Break your teammate ego
Soemtimes your dumb jungler needs 250 gold for power spike (possibly tanky item) and it's a last camp and all waves are pushed and dragon is in 40 sec
Sure you can get your half item but when your bad teammate pings his gold/item and missing X amount of gold consider it
Sometimes you can also have good player in your team that was super close all early game but didn't do well early on
Just because someone is 0/5 does not always mean he is trash, think about how the game was played maby guy is accualy 0/5/15 and got his teammates a lot of kills, maby got objectives traded for his death, maby he burned enemy ults and summoners didn't get assist but your team wiped thanks to it and you are not aware
Maby you have 4 items enemy has 3 and your "bad teammate" has 2 but been comming back and 3rd item is his power spike, consider your 5th item may not be as good as your "bad teammate" 3rd one
Maby if you are solo killing weak toplaner somebody that is behind all game could get that kill instead or even just that assist, lets say that person was cutting out that person route and you are fed guy with full build but you still want stat, make sure you don't get killed cose of it and communicate you would die if you tried to give away that kill
As jungler Sometimes it's bad decision trying to give kill to your team cose fight can be turned from it as well
Had a guy run into Tower cose I didn't give him the kill when I was low hp and guy was low hp
Had ganks when both teammate and enemy is low, could just jungler get the kill and laner dont risk comming for assist/kill so they die for free/just assist/kill or worst case give enemy kill and reset, lvl up, hp back from rune even mobility from dashing away when your jungler Combo gets wasted or comming into Darius when your have 4 stacks on you
Consider People and communicate
Don't let your ego or your teammate ego throw that game
2:39 why didnt challenger player use ping to make heimerdinger to fallback, how can gold understand the challenger decision
Does not matter. Challenger player 1v9. Doesn't need teammates.
The biggest problem is you have to go with your team mates dumb plays or they'll start inting out of their mind, at least in bronze/silver, lucky his support was gold. You have to at least PRETEND that you're doing what your team mates want, so they don't throw.
XP gap is far more important than gold as a decision making situation. Especially in the first 14 mins
If I can get to gold anyone can do it just by using their brain a bit more.
i think with this we can argue that NA is harder than EUW
@@BenAndSamS LOL, I wish I could agree, but I can't. The players on EUW are significantly better at rank parity with exception of the ADCs. ADC is probably even at rank parity.

@Bruno I am a supporter main in any kind of moba so I know the importance of helping teammates and leaving your laner in the right situation.
As a support, I have a problem with ADC's not auto attacking. I play braum, and every game there is a time when both of us could be saved if just 1 more auto got hit for the stun, and there's just no auto attack and we both die because of it. Also when it's a match-up that I know we beat level 1, and know that they will outscale us by level 6, my adc refuses to fight with me.
gold platinium elo is pretty funny, smuring from master and being called "hardstuck plat", I love that lmao
you don't need to watch a 14 minute video to understand why you're getting flamed by a gold elo support. it's because they're piss horrible at the game and they don't think.
I got you guys, it's no problem.
I don't know about this guide chief. The only reason this style of gameplay works is because Sivir is a challenger player in gold, I don't think your average plat adc can solo carry a game by hoarding gold for himself.
Be honest what did vector say to that heimerdinger after the match?
3:15 is exactly what heimer's in mind. if another player applied this to himself, it will just get worse 😂
Flames for winning and reported for losing
The problem I’ve seen in solo queue-your team over and over takes 3v4 fights that they expect you to come to and coin flip with them. So, you don’t go, they lose, over and over, until the game is unwinnable. But, if you go, and do win, then you can maybe win the game.
So. What would you do in that situation? You have to lose farm because otherwise they will literally int on cooldown
you guys cant imagine how many games i won just by setting the chat to "Party Only" and focus on my self and not what my mates are doing
Got to master în my 3rd season and i decided to play in low elo for the preseason to help my friends. I get triple the amount of hate when i try to push when i want to take objectives. The ego some players have in this elo. Lol
The sentence if your teammates make poor decisions and die it doesn’t matter if you stick to the fundamentals hits different when you stomp top and suddenly go up against the 16/0 adc
i love this shot with people over 40 talking about league
Most of the calls I ever make is for people to back off, I ping danger on them at lest twice. Often it's 2 people trying to push in as their team revives, or our team is doing other things split and someone is pushing up with no team pressure. I make sure to ping well before it's too late and not when they are getting attacked or dead.
I feel like everyone likes having a team mate like that to remind you to look at your gosh darned map.
Not gonna lie, hector not typing, pinging and communicating is also the reason why they lost. If you ARE confident in your decisions, at least ping and tell them.
Some are smart enough to listen, although most are still too dumb to listen.
you are going to lose a lot of time typing, tho i can maybe agree with the pings on most situations.
One time I was flamed for 1v5 defending my nexus while my team was fighting baron and elder drag at the same time. They died to both objectives
I once got flamed for not ganking top. I just finished red, we were blue side.
as a support main, adapt to what your adc does. If he does nothing, poke if you can, but do nothing extravagant because nothing good will come from you doing shit alone and dying
Free elo pro tip
I had a brand like this the other day. I felt bad for him because he just kept dying 1v2ing trying to poke I guess. Like bro, smoke some weed and chill back here with me farmvilling the minions yo
Often team mates blame you for not engaging a lost fight its pretty annoying. Just because you dont play like they want you to you get flamed. Then at the end of the game you won because you were able tk trade soul for baron. These low elo players are annoying as hell.
2:32 I like the way you teach here, more guide videos plz, thanks
Literally the only person I trust when playing Leg is my DuoQ partner. And a lot of that's because we've been playing leg together for years and are mostly on the same page. It says something when being able to trust (1) teammate with basic tasks makes the game so much more enjoyable.
ADC's have 46% winrate in all regions on all skill levels, 44% winrate in master & challenger.
ADC is a bad role in general. Their kit sucks, the champions are built wrong. And crit is among the worst stats in the game (after HP).
"We lost that teamfight (4 v 1 fed enemy) because you werent there 1 v 3ing and winning in the dragon pit and stealing the dragon instead!"

The real macro skill of solo queue is making quick decisions as to if the objectivelly correct macro play is actually WORTH IT over the mental of your teamates.
In many games we did baron as soon as it came up and ended right away because the enemy team thinks that if they are ignoring baron, we will too...
at the end of every game like this, you should tell them you are a Challenger and making a video for Skill-capped lol
My teammates love to make the choice feeding the enemy team from champion select. they are so good atr this.
I find it hilarious that some people actually say challenger players AKA pro players are washed and yet their levels above them.
needed this yall the best guys
in lower elo like bronze or silver it's sometimes even worse to make the right decision, your mid laner will leave as a wave crashes their turret for the worst roam youve ever seen and you can ping it out 15 times and your bot lane will still some how not notice, die in a 3v2 that was so clearly telegraphed, and then ping you for making the decision to stay in lane and get first turret and a 25cs lead, it's hilarious
imagine being the heimerdinger and finding this post LMAO... poor guy i would be so embarrassed
I usually play champs im comfortable with in ranked games while mastering others in normals to keep relying on supports on minimum.
Ironic how I run into this video the moment I get on TH-cam after getting spammed pinged by a teemo with 100 cs in 30 mins.
Real nice, personally I wouldnt have baited myself for baron since I'm just playing with a bunch of animals that wont make use of baron anyone because they try to buff the jungle camps it seems and I need to guide them towards the enemy nexus like an elo cowboy with my horses and donkeys
Its so funny bc heim def saw sivir come back to lane and get that double and thought "SEE WE COULDA WON THAT EASILY"
I feel like the worst they are the more they flame.
Maybe because constantly blaming someone else for your mistakes doesn't push you to improve? I dunno.
It's a stupid person trait
till the moment , you tilted your teammates so hard they run it down. which is 80% of games.
sadly out of the whole video the majority of low elo players will only hear: "don't listen to your teammates calls" which will only result in an even more split up teams and toxicity. remember most of the players are still kids who only hear stuff that makes them special
I usually have an adc that either never groups so we lose or always group so we lose. Just why can't they do both
I mean making your own decisions is cool and all but in low elo we all think we are right so sometimes to win you just have to compromise and listen to the idiot teamates because unless you are that much and you know you can 1v9, they will int too far for you to recover the game alone and thats not even mentioning every1 going mental boom and afk bcs you ignore them. Welcome to gold!
Yeah that's the everlasting see-saw of decision making
Step 1 for anyone genuinely trying to improve their play is "/mute all"
Skill capped, I respectfully disagree with the decision not to fight at 6:06, unless if either Cass or Vi is fed, fighting is a good decision because Sivir excels at teamfighting more than turret seiging AND if Sivir showed up, he would've had the numbers advantage. A 4v3 with a fed Sivir, IMO, it's not a coinflip since you have an advantage.
