Funrun final round 2023 group C FD2 type R Central Circuit Japan

Fun run is a series of races that group the cars by the fastest time, group C is 1:31.0 at central or higher. Up till this race if you qualified faster than the groups cap of 1:31 you are bumped into the next faster group. However this time they changed the rules and you could qualify as fast as you like and its only the race you werent allowed to go faster than 1:31.0 in... I didnt catch that rule change and qualified with a 1:31.1 and was laughing at the 10 other cars that went too fast in qualifying only to find out I was the chump and am now starting way down the grid. With only 6 laps to get to the front it made for a really fun and intense race though.
Ultimately it cost me pretty dearly as my 2nd place finish meant I tied the championship on points and the tie break was decided on who placed best in the first race... which was the other guy Okubo san in his CRX clinching the championship, congrats to him though!

Thanks for the video Jesse! Man this is good! Very interesting rules for this series. Not a big fan to be honest, but gives interesting racing strategies for sure!

You should have popped off by now on TH-cam, I think the algorithm doesn't like your uploading schedule, youtube promotes creators who upload very often, anyways video is really good
