I'm a little disappointed you can target lock him while he's invisible. It kinda defeats the point of him going invisible if you can just press a button and automatically know where he is. You can't target lock Chameleos when he goes invisible so it should be the same for Lucent.

Chris did a video on how to get good charms faster. Don‘t know if that still works with the new update though. It‘s the 8 advanced tips one. Basicly you save up 10 MP accelerants, deactivate auto saving, do your 10 anima melds with the accelerants look if you got anything good; if not quit out the game without saving. Go into the game again, do 1 meld without the accelerant do quest(I just do my usual follower quests of farm MR points). After the quest collect the newly melded charm Save your game. Do the 10 anima melds with the accelerants, repeat this until you got a good one. I did this to get a good charm for my CB sets with 2 Rapid Morph, 2 Whirebug whisperer; 3 slot, 2 slot, 1 slot

On the other hand, the effect of it is that the weapons based on counters become less unique and interesting (I'm thinking of CB). It's only my personal opinion though.

So I'm confused...I see people saying to not use critical eye or crit boost on Switch Axe because your phials and ZSD dont crit. So let's say you aren't using ZSD as much bc of the risk of damage or maybe you are doing something else... I know there are priorities for the SA, but for overall damage is it worth it?
Would be great if it did and had crossplay tbh. Have many friends that prefer this over world/iceborne and can't all play it for the better gameplay etc.

That fight took ages for me because I figured it'd have simular weaknesses and went in with a thunder weapon. Turns out, Lucents elemental weaknesses are literally opposite to regular Narga and thunder does basically nothing to it. I think it's probably one of the easier new monsters from this update but I ended up taking the longest and using the most potions against it.
You know this Kage guy only used his skill and not totally memorize the monster because he did a carve at the end. Not the typical "what happens after hunting 100,000 Lucent Nargacuga"
the update has come out today, do you think they just download Lucent Nargacuga's moveset into their brain? nobodies perfect. also why does the carve matter at all?

No because even if Lucent nargacuga is invisible u can still see his red eyes glowing so u would still b able to know where he is

Every weapon in rise has counter move. Monsters also have anti counter move for their own.
@@no-bodymr6419 HH only has hyper armor though, not a Full on counter so 13/14 weaps which is still ludicrous.

It comes with the sailor skirt. There's no use for ballistics but that 3 protective polish is super useful.
