I'm inclined to think that they plan the divorce around the same time that they plan the wedding.

Almost all women worldwide nowadays. It's settling to show to other women she married and had a kid (if desired). She can then say, he wasn't good, get alimony and child support, and get a handsome young player for fun (all she ever wants).

I dated a Filipina years ago, she was divorced a couple years when we met. I soon met her family that she and her sisters brought over during the years. ALL her sisters had the same story, all DIVORCED once they were in USA. They then get Americanized and have the same expectations as any American women, money, good looks, nice car, house.. the list goes on for miles. I just returned from Cebu weeks ago, was my 5th trip. Word to the wise, stay there with them if you retire. I'm not retiring age, now 52.. but if I retire in the Philippines, I would stay there with her.

The girls plan this. They know once they get here, they're the hot commodity. I've heard this over and over again. They get coaching from other Filipinas who've been through this before.

Especially if they're pretty, young, and slim. Hell, even if they're simply average for a Pinay and not fat, they still will get tons of attention from men in the states, and they will see how American women simply walk all over the average American and get away with it. They will witness first-hand how little respect and attention your typical American man receives, and she will eventually develop an inflated ego.
It's a high-risk gamble bringing her back to the US, or any Western country for that matter. It's a land of milk and honey, if you're a female.

In Philippsens the foreigners' men not only help their girlfriends and their wives they also help their parents and their brother and sisters. The females left thinking they can get men who have more money than the men that brought them to U.S don't forget her family will be calling her everyday asking for money .Would you pay your rent and car payment and ins and buy food or would you send the money you earn to her parents in Philippsens? 😂😂🤣🤣

YES, THEY DO! I know a group of them. Trashy girls, no class, just constantly spending their husband's or fiance's money on designer things! They still run around wearing skimpy clothing, if you can even call it clothing. As a second generation Filipino-American, it makes me want to distance myself from my parents ethnicity!

As many expats have noted, in countries like the Philippines you're the prize. In the USA she's the prize and it won't take her long to figure that out. Then its a roll of dice if she stays or if she leaves. This will applies to quite a few developing countries like Brazil, Russia, Colombia, Thailand, Ukraine, etc. etc. Want to roll the dice and feel lucky, then move her over here!!! LOL

So so true. Especially the past 10 years: I've had good friends, long time married with 3-6 children, saw them in church regularly, who are now scrubby, skinny lonely old men. Some are I their 50's to 70's. And it's the wife who leaves or files for divorce.
Seems like they got bored or their career became a priority, thereby creating a wedge in the marriage relationship. The age difference was between 26 to 35 yrs. The poison pill gets to the body of them.
I married a wonderful educated Christian Thai at 53 yrs & she at 24 yrs. We had 8 yrs of ecstacy. But the poison pill got her too. She had everything she wanted here, but her desire for business & success was too much to keep her home. The Chinese blood took over, & within 6 months, she went off into her new kingdom of financial success & power. She took me to court & stripped me of everything her lying attorneys could get away with, & even succeeded in taking our daughter. Took me 12 yrs to recover. I don't want to leave my beautiful, comfortable home in Hawaii for Thailand or PI, & I find the Filipina, Asian female too primitive. I prefer more cultured, & civilized human being like eastern Europe or the romantic & exciting Latina. If not, I'll get a dog & enjoy the freedom & independence of walking naked in my beautiful home & gardens. The world is heading for some tuff times.
Thank you for your report. Aloha

And once I realized how precious life is I just count my blessings that God allows me to take one breath after another and one sunrise after another. Applied for her temporary Green Card. Received it, moved out, moved in with him. I reported her to USCIS, They said who cares, we see it all the time. That was 8 years ago.

Met a filpina here in the US who is on a work visa. 22 yr age gap, she is 39. Almost 1 yr together. So far all is well. She dated an expat for 7 years previously. The fact she is almost 40 is helpful.
      Still a risk I know.

    • @bigbrother4ever
      @bigbrother4ever 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

32 yr gap is quite large though. Depending on how both of you are. Say 62 vs 30. One big friction is kids. A 62 yo most times doesn't want to change nappies no more. 😂. A 30 yo filipina would want to have a kid if they don't have one. Regardless of what they told u when u first met. 😂. Then there is the fun gap. I am 49 and my joints are already giving in and I don't seem to want to join a lot of stuff. Now in 20 years I am not sure I will be able to keep up with a 30 yo😂😂. Then there is stigma and influence. My wife is less than 20 years younger and i do look 15 years younger, so the age gap doesn'tshow too much. But on her first job ,the first filipina she met asked her ,how old is your husband? She told her, and replied, wow thats a big gap😂. Seriously😂.etc. etc. So if you want a super young woman, the only chance you have is to move to the Philippines.

Sam, what you said today is spot on. A much younger partner in the West can be problematic for all the reasons you cited. I will add that when the World becomes your Oyster you want to experience it, live it. If one comes from a impoverished background and a world of new wonders is at your fingertips the temptation will be almost certainly be too much for some to remain faithful. This is just one of many temptations a young Filipina will face when they come to the West. There is no magic pill to cure the separation anxiety, missing home, missing friends and especially her family and the of course the culture that has been her world until she came to the West.

When I met my Filipina online in 2019, our plan was for her to complete her annulment, and then I could bring her back to the states for marriage. After finding out how difficult that was going to be I decided that I'd instead simply retire at 62 and come to PI instead. Now her concern, she's 46 now, is that she wants me to buy property so that she has a comfortable life in case something happens to me. WRONG ANSWER! I basically told her that I'm coming to PI to live a comfortable retirement and if that means renting property then that's my plan. There is no way that I am purchasing anything in her name if we're not married. I've been there twice now, and I do believe that I'd truly enjoy living there. It can be with her or without her, but she will have to decide.
Don't bring them here. You will eventually lose them.

@@SAMLAMB Correct. My friend is 32 yrs older than his Filipina. They been going strong here in the US for 17 years. There's several main factors whether the Pinay stays or leaves. 1. The age gap. 2. How good the husband treats her, e.g. you can't treat her like a maid. 3. How much she misses her family. As you know, for the most part, Filipinos are extremely family oriented. 4. How well you can read her intention and motivation to move to a foreign country. Although this isn't a sure-fire strategy for predicting if she will stay with you in the long run, there may be signs that her main intention of moving isn't to be with you. Lookout for comments such as, "I need a higher salary so I can support my family." The bottom like is, if you treat your Filipina wife with love and respect, there's a higher probability she will stay with you, regardless of which country you reside. Just my two cents.

This type of mentality in women is universal. Women are hypergamous by nature no matter the country. If you make 3k to 4k per month in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, or the Philippines, then you are upper middle class and my advice is to stay there with your wife. The moment you bring her to the U.S. she's going to start thinking she's too much for you, especially if she is much younger.
A friend of mine got married in Thailand to a woman 18 years younger. They happily lived in Bangkok for more than three years, then they decided to move to the U.S. Less than a year after she got the green card she filed for divorce.
There are tons of examples of women from third world countries marrying men from first world countries just for the green card or to escape from poverty.

  • @lmbarnes3

This is what really happens. One is only compared to the Interest Chart in the country you live. You come to America and blend into that country. Many of these young girls dream of living in the west and have plans long before they ever meet you. You essentially become a means to an end for these women, a conduit if you will for them to live their dream . It doesn't matter how old they are their dream never dies, and you get to support her even if she leaves. The general golden rule is to not bring them to the west but for you to work or retire overseas. I make sure to let her know just how expensive it is to live here in the United States and tell her about all the crime and dangers here . I also let her know that I am not rich but can support myself and can live a comfortable life in the philippines.

Sam that was a great dose of reality. Thank you. I had an LDR with a beautiful young woman in the Philippines for a couple years. We spent time together in person a couple of times. We had a 37 year age gap, and that was the main thing that bothered me (and the rest of my family) about the relationship. She came from a large family and wanted nine kids! I was 65 at the time. I kept telling her that she needed to marry a younger guy. We split up (amicably) and she met and married an American guy only 6 years older than her. He's a good Christian man, and I'm happy for her. But I'll admit I miss her every day. She was top notch.
I'm in great shape financially. I don't need a cheap place to retire. I just can't get excited about spending the rest of my life in the Philippines. I've traveled around the country and I know what it is like. I want the quality of life that the USA offers. Your opinion (and experience) on this issue has been helpful to me.

Any woman who marries and later leaves a man who has been truly good to her doesn't know what true love is. For younger people like you it's quite a dilemma. Retiring to the Philippines isn't often possible before SS kicks in. So you need to stay in the states to make money. Should you bring her? Or move to the Philippines. For me to drop everything you have at 41 and move to the Philippines for a woman ? I wouldn't personally do that. In the end even in the Philippines, things happen. So not worth dropping everything imho. Now I would have two options either keep her there and visit now and then or bring her to teh us. I have heard people do the first and I have seen people do the second too. I for one would calculate all the risks, plan some mitigation strategies and bring her to be with me. In life you cannot eliminate all the risks. One mistake I have seen people make is to decide that they don't want kids, often do vasectomy, tell the filipina I don't want a kid and the filipina agrees and they take is a gospel or a vow. I would assume safely that any child bearing age filipina would want a kid with her man. I know there are unicorn and exceptions but when you are evaluating risks, you have to assume all possibilities and in doubt, assume the worst case scenario. In this case if you have vasectomy or just decided you don't want change diapers nomore, then a 26 year old with no kids might look elsewhere, at least when the baby rabbies hit in her 30... despite what she told you on your 3rd date😂

The schools should be sued for malpractice so trust me just because someone claims to have a college degree doesn't mean absolutely nothing. I run my own business is here and over the years. I've learned to hire cert certain way from certain school, etc. bottom line don't worry Filipino unless you plan on staying here. My wife was educated in the United States went to Medical School there as well yeah her family has more money then me I guess you can say she rescued me

There are a few reasons that I have seen when my wife and I were living in TX. So thankful that mine is the exception (of course she is only 6 years younger than me, and educated). I have seen younger wives that the men met in clubs and bars, married them, took them to the US and expected them to be settled housewives amongst all the bright lights, clubs and excitement. So they end up finding men their own age, with a longer remaining lifespan, better bodies, less wrinkles and a lack of needing help getting out the bed. I have also seen some of these guys bring granddaughter age women back and become extremely controlling of the woman. You are exactly right though. These social security kings get slapped with reality when they bring these desperate younger women to the states as arm candy. Social security in America is the same as poverty.

I often say we have to be fair to these filipinas. Now I don't condone ladies marrying men only for a visa but think about it. Let's just swap roles a little bit. You are a young men in your 30s. You go work on Monday and all your friends are talking about the weekend, the beer, the girls they took home, the waves they surfed, the plans they have for next week, etc. And they ask you, how was your weekend...and you look back on your weekend and you are like hang on.... I didn't sleep very well because my 65 yo old wife was snoring and complaining about her knees. I woke up early to make her some soup to soothe her itchy throat, we have breakfast then she went to have coffee with other seniors while I stayed home doing laundry...maybe with some soiled undies in there...and at night we watched a documentary on Nero and some new on CNN and she fell asleep while complaininv aboit how goos it was under Reagan...And you think this is my life for the next 10 or 20 years, actually gonna get worse.
Then you go, nah I didn't do much. And there a young lady your age spots that your life seems to suck and offers you to join her once at a bar or something. Think about it.
Now we can think like 'why did she marry him in the first place?'. Good question buy could be asked to both...and I do have a few answers...but this comment is already too long😂

I agree with you 100%. (#1) An older guy with resources who wants to go to Asia and marry a young wife should be prepared to stay in Asia with her for at least the first 3 to 5 years to adjust to being married to each other, (#2) to keep her around her family as long as possible, (#3) if the guy do decide to return to the states he should insure he is wealthy enough that she never have to work and just stay home as a mom to a couple of kids to keep her busy. I first saw this on Guam in 1972 at the passenger terminal by watching 60 and 70 plus year old guys being helped around by their young 20 something year old wifes.

So she doesn’t just keep the house. Most woman don’t want to pay the mortgage by themselves. Bringing a Filipina is a risk. I don’t believe it’s as catastrophic as it sounds. Sometimes guys might intend to come and stay with their pinay out here but for some reason or another it doesn't work out. Eg their plan for a little business goes belly up, they miss aspects of their home life or their health deteriorates to the extent that hanging out here becomes a little dangerous given the more medical infrastructure. How it works out back home very much depends. Some get nursed with love and affection till they pass away, others are just left once the girl finds her feet.

I asked my cook if I really heard what they were saying. I thought since it was visayan that maybe I had miss heard. The cook is a philippina and confirmed what I had heard. Met my wife in Kinshasa, DR Congo while there on business. Had been divorced from my Brazilian wife (31 year marriage) for 3 years. I brought Grace over on a K-1 fiance visa. We married her first week in the USA (April 2017). She is 5'10" tall and weighs 110 lbs......an undiscovered super model. Our age gap is 44 years. I am now 76 and Grace is 32. I'm on SS retirement income. Grace works for a contractor on the clean up crew for the transport company.
She gets hit on several times a day but just blocks it out. Married happily now for seven years. When we are out together I get a kick out of seeing these young bucks (especially black guys) scratch there heads and wondering "How in the hell did that old fart manage to land such a beautiful woman"? Grace is different.....she has had opportunity galore to stray but has no intention of leaving for greener pastures. She has proven her faithfulness. Oh yeah, she is now a US citizen. Women getting divorced after arriving in America happens in many immigrants' communities. Number 1 reason is something to do with money. For an example the woman parents or family members will start calling everyday asking for money. Her family thinks everybody in America is rich. If she doesn't send money, they will call her and tell her mom or father is in hospital and they need money to take them to a better hospital in big city or they will die.

***Sam I'm sorry but it's funny how you tell the story but divorce is not funny especially if you are in love and other person behavior changes.
OK why Divorce? You are correct but I will add my opinion Sam.
(1)Guys have to realize most women use the internet and have friends in the States that tell them when they get to the States she can make her own money not rely on him and if that friend finds out how old is your husband they will tell your Filipina wife on the internet there are lots of young guys her age group. She won't say anything but she will remember what's told.
    (2) You have normal/not normal... Yes Sam in the Philippines it's normal older men young beautiful woman. in the States not normal... you will have people steering at you as a couple. Older man, young beautiful woman.
    (3) Appointments, yes people will make joking comments "oh he is actually your husband" and a question will come to her mind why the reaction in that way.
Last, Sam is crazy but honest. That's why I'm laughing 🤣🤣🤣he's correct he said " you are no more Top Dog" why? My opinion, she is learning about American dollars how much you make and other people make, so she is learning and after comparison, she realizes gentlemen, you are" Not the Top Dog" anymore🤣🤣🤣

Send them to nursing school and when they get out, they leave you! Why? Because "they graduated!!!" I had a couple of friends to whom this happened. My Filipino has stuck with me for almost 15 years. Still going strong....I am 70, she will be 60 soon. Best years of my life by far were those with her. I was thoughtful in selection, though. I had been through 32 years of tough duty with an ONAC (Ornery North American Chick). I didn't want to repeat that. I looked for character and work ethic and a Christian world view. She was a 42 year old widow with two boys when I met her. One other thing I did was to look at the mothers of women I was interested in. I looked at their lives in their sunset years. How were they? How happy, how kind, how nice. The mother of my wife had 11 children and two foster children and she loved them all. And they were all good kids as adults. My mother in law was a winner. Before she died many years later at age 89, she held my hand and said "Thanks for bringing my daughter back to visit me every year. You are good." The mothers are the key in many ways. These guys that date the daughters and tell the mothers to get lost are just crazy. My step sons now have college education related to computers and electronics. Both have fine families of their own and have good paying jobs. And actually I did very little. Their mother (my wife) had raised them right. I had entered the boys lives when they were 13 and 21. She put them through school on a job that paid less than $10 a day. Later we helped them a little with college, but mostly they did it themselves by working and being in the U.S. military. Before she met me, she was a police woman and a SWAT team member and noted for being an excellent knife thrower. So I have behaved well. I have seen her angry a time or two.

True. When I was dating in the Philippines, even at 45, I wasn't approaching anyone under 25.

Opinion. These Filipinas plan on the divorce before traveling there. Filipinas take advantage of laws in the other nation(s).
Not Filipina but similar situation. On the Maury Pauvich Show, Model Iman was married to Spencer Haywood, who played basketball 🏀 then. But Iman threw fits. They divorced. She used him as a gateway to stay in the USA. (Rhyme unintended.) Iman married the late David Bowie.
Coincidentally, ex wife Angela Bowie was on that show, telling how unfaithful David was. Angela and Haywood became friends.

I think it is a mix. The really bad ones might have those plans. But for most part, the filipina is naive. They see foreigners as gold in the Philippines even the old ones. Now because there is only one foreigner in each village, all village girl would want that foreigner. When she arrives in the US she realises she kind of made a mistake, that she could do better...that you are not that special...that she can still drink coca cola daily with or without u. And off she goes.

@SAMLAMB I don't know about guiding them if their intentions are to take advantage of what they perceived as naive Filipinas. They're trying to buy love and target provincial women. That's a formula for failure.

Although not necessarily age related, men often fall victim to being O.L.D. (Overlooked, Lonely & Desperate). When that happens, more often than not, men tend to rationalize making bad financial and emotional decisions regarding women. Women can sense this like a shark senses blood in the water.

You are 100 percent correct, their options multiply once they arrive in the US, not saying they will all behave like this but most will. I can't say I blame them though, wouldn't we men do the same if there was an advantage we could exploit for ourselves? Of course we would, that's why they're in the Philippines in the first place🤣 Know your advantages and protect your advantages as best you know how.

Basically the guy did not prepared the Filipina for the shock in the USA. Socially, culturally, and economically. Yeah prepare ur future wife for the USA including the ways guys will look at here and the money other guys make. Give her the strengths and weaknesses, the positives and negatives of America before you marry her. Let the Filipina make a full informed decision about coming to the USA with u, the American guy.

Better yet, know that women don't love like men do. They are pragmatic, not romantic. They just want the alpha's seed, and the beta's $ for her needs. Best bet, no marriage, no green cards, no babies.
