      Riccardo Ammendolia​​ When somebody puts a omoplata, his intention is to bring the opponent's body to back and take his body to front and up.
      If the opponent puts his own body to back, he's doing a half of the attacker's job.
      Ok... The hand near the hip would stop it, because it i said it's dangerous.
      That hand just is useful if the attacker's back is at the ground. Then he don't have how to turn his hip.
      But, of course, i would use this defense. Very intelligent and creative.
      It is just a purple belt opinion.
