Very confused on what you mean by “clinically dosed.” Total war has 4g of L-Citrulline and you say it’s clinically dosed, then 1 scoop of gorilla mode has 5g and you say you need two scoops to get to clinical dosages
I might have made a mistake in the video. I'd have to rewatch it to see what I said. Mistakes happen. But clinical dosing means the dosing that has been proven in research trials to be effective. For citrulline, 6g is usually considered clinically dosed. Here is the article for gorilla mode: feastgood.com/gorilla-mode-pre-workout/. Scroll down to the ingredients section. I have a table that shows the doses in 2 scoops of gorilla mode versus the clinical doses.
@@feast_goodok I think there is an opportunity for improvement here. The “clinical dose” mentioned in the article appears to be referring to the maximum efficacious dose, which is very different than the minimum efficacious dose. Both can be called clinical dosage, as both do make a difference. The minimum efficacious dose of L Citrulline Malate (which is 60% L Citrulline) is 6g, so 4g of L Citrulline. The maximum efficacious dose is 10g, which is how much 2 scoops of Gorilla mode has.
Ohh I take the cellucor 4 Sport and it includes more ingredients, which gives you the pump you need. The caffeine is 200mg per scoop and 2G of beta- alanine, so I use 1 and a half scoop! Which is good and affordable, $20 for 20 scoops
Ya, this is just for the original version of C4. They have so many varieties now, all which have different levels of quality. They should really discontinue the original version because it's pretty bad.
Hi mate, can u do a video about multivitamins and minerals include and the Animal brand. Thank you for sharing those great videos and enlightening the masses wordwide! All the best! Cheers mate.

I only tried the Orange Gainsicle flavor. I just reviewed my notes and this is what I wrote: "I also appreciated the nice sweetness in flavor that the orange creamsicle flavor provided. I take my pre-workout on an empty stomach at 5:30 a.m. Sometimes strong or sour flavors first thing in the morning can cause nausea or discomfort (like my experience testing Pre-Kaged)".
You took the caffeine free version of gorilla mode called nitric I would like to see your opinion on gorilla mode with caffeine as well as gorilla mode base which is their economy version. I have better luck with gorilla mode base because no beta alanine and no excess ingredients
Ya, I didn't want to include gorilla mode nitric in this video. I grabbed the container and realized while I was filming that it was the wrong one. I'm planning on making a seperate video of all the stim free pre workouts I've taken. I've taken the regular gorilla mode though, and here was my key takeaways in my notes: Gorilla Mode was excellent for muscle pump and overall energy. However, the 2-scoop serving required for clinical dosing caused me to have an upset stomach 75% of the time. That, combined with the high cost, and it isn’t on my list to “re-buy”.
The Gorilla Mode u used is specifically their pump product which is why it doesn't have caffeine it's their equivalent of the TL Stin Free u mentioned their regular Gorilla Mode has caffeine
Ya, I actually wanted to keep all my stim-free pre-workouts out of this video, but I grabbed the tub and started talking about it, so I decided to keep it in here. But I'll be making a separate video of my favorite stim-free pre-workouts soon as I've tried A LOT.
@@feast_good I am a fan of Derek and mpmd. I have tried gorilla mode(not the new version) but that made me nauseous too. If in a workout, I had sprints or erg bike, I would have to step out and throw up. But workout after that would go great so I guess pros and cons.
@@feast_good Derek's the founder/spokesperson for gorilla mind. MPMD(moreplatesmoredates) is his youtube channel. You have tried gorilla mind "pump" product. Their main pre w.o is gorilla mind. @@feast_good You reviewed gorilla mode pump so you have tried it. My experience with gorilla mode was similar to you, its packed with good ingredients but made me nauseous. They have updated the formula which I haven't tried so its possible its improved.
@@tariqramadan1521 Interesting, I'm from Canada and haven't heard of it. I just googled it. Looks like a pump formula with some energy. I'll add it to my list to try personally, but it probably won't make a review on the channel because it needs to have wider distribution as most of the audience is US-based.
I drink way too much coffee which precludes caffeine based pre-workouts for me. Problem is, most non caffeine pre wo have beta alanine which just makes you itchy. The performance enhancement claim of beta alanine is also dubious, you have to take it uninterrupted for 20+ days and payoff is ~1% performance. That's important for elite athletes in timed events who need the split second advantage but the irritation is simply not worth it for me.
How much daily caffeine do you take? And ya, most people don't know that beta alanine is kind of like creatine in a sense. You need to take it long-term and there's a 'build up' period. So if I hear you correctly, you're looking for a non stim pre workout without beta alanine. You might want to try a pump-focused pre-workout like Transparent Labs Pump or Gorilla Mode Nitric. Have you looked at any of those products?
