Poulan Pro / Murray Water In Fuel & Carb Issues Won't Stay Running for Chuck

I've been fighting with a Poulan pro riding mower the last few days. I'm convinced it's a fuel issue, but I've had the whole system apart & still can barely get it to crank. Much less idle. My breather tube is broken on the bottom side & spits oil. And I'm not sure how much is a normal amount. Any suggestions? Thanks for the vid.

The breather shouldn't spit oil at all.. often times if it spits oil its cause there's too much oil in mower. Dain a bit and see if it stops. I pull the carbs and clean them up to 2 times but if still won't run right I replace them.. 25 on amazon.. just easier. You can hook up an external tank to run with fresh line to know for sure if uts gravity fed. Otherwise check if fuel pump I'd working pr

Also it's silly but true.. if its gravity fed u need the fuel filter that's screen only.. not the $4 paper filters. If there's no fuel pump gravity won't pull enough fuel thru paper fuel filter. It will restrict fuel.. so remove filter to test and see
