I have been on a WR1 Convergence 29er wheelset for this entire last season. After talking with WR1 and Dave Thomas from Dave's Wheels, I went with the 33mm Fuse up front and the 30mm Triad in the rear. I had Dave build them up with Onyx Classic silent instant engagement hubs. The Wheelset rock. I have not had 1 issue with the build. I'm riding super-chunk most of the time. Before this I was on a set of WR1 Union 27.5 rims with the Onyx Classics. They are still going strong after 2.5 seasons. I cannot recommend the WR1 rims or the Onyx classic hubs more.
Interesting that you run the Fuse up front. What tire width are you running? I run a 2.5, so I guess I could have had it built with the Fuse in case I ever want to go wider in the front.
I run a 2.6 up front and a 2.5 in the rear. The Fuse up front was recommended by WR1 and Dave Thomas. Definitely has a wider footprint up front. It's working out well. @@CMGMTB
Definitely less PSI will help with chatter. Unless you’re 250+. Just 1-2psi increments might be a good thing to try. If you want another front tire option, the Dissector is good for dry conditions but more grip than the aggressor. Good review!
Thanks! I have been running 1-2 psi less, and that helped. I also slowed the rebound by just a click and that also helped. I might have said I run the aggressor, but I actually run the assegai. I mixed them up, as I’ve tried several combos! Thanks for watching.

Just ordered a Triad/Fuse wheel set with Hydra hubs for the Altitude. I’m hoping staggered widths was a good decision!
@@notaTRDPro , let us know how you like them!

They are convergence triad rims
Correct, made by We Are One Composites. Guess I should change the title as it's confusing, Thanks!
I’m getting these or the fuse .
i think i know what wheels you had previously.. does it have an X on it and is based out of california? im having the same problem..
No, That's not them. But you should try The Triads, they are cheaper than my last ones and more snappy. How many spokes have you broke?
@@CMGMTB 3 already and i have to true this wheels every 3-4 rides on bike parks
@@21armyn yea, that’s not right for carbons. Do they have a lifetime warranty? You can try to get a new hoop from them.
@@CMGMTB that what im gonna do and get the triads. i had a weareone unions before and never had a problem.
@@21armyn Just check your internal rim size. The Triad (30mm) accommodates tire width: 2.4-2.5". Good luck man!
