  • A short video explaining the best way to get from Laguardia Airport (LGA) to Manhattan, Brooklyn, or anywhere else in the center of New York City. I hope this video is helpful to other travellers to NYC.

Thank you. I’ve been hesitant to take the subway when traveling because I’m easily lost and turned around. Other videos explain more than I need to know. So, thank you for being straightforward. Next time I’ll skip the taxi.

It's been over eight years since I've been to New York City, and I'm quite impressed by what you've shot of La Guardia Airport. I'm surprised to see that it looks great, with much improved wayfinding and aesthetics. I can remember when it was the most notoriously cramped and poorly planned among New York's three primary passenger airports. Also, as the destination of most out of towners is the borough of Manhattan, it was difficult to figure out how to get there as the airport was not tied into the city's extensive rail transportation network. You made it look simple!

I take the E all the way to the WTC, then hop on the PATH to Hoboken, then NJ Transit to my daughter's place. There are quicker, more popular routes, but this one is familiar and easy.
I always grab an MTA card in LGA so I don't have to mess with it at the usually crowded Roosevelt/74th station: The kiosks are just inside the doors.
    Excellent video: perfect for first-timers.

Very helpful for anyone going there. Good idea to do this. I'll even overlook the fact you spelled "centre" the American way in your title. 😂

Hahaha. My autocorrect tried to change it to “centre” too

Does that E Train go to Penn Station? I'm going to NYC in December for a Rangers game and our hotel is right by MSG

I’m traveling to NYC ina month and have been trying to look up the best method. The only thing that I’m scared of / worries me is that I’ve watched so many video and seen so many comments that say the Q70 is free. Until an inspector comes and gives you a $100 ticket. Why would you get a ticket if it’s free? Just curious because I want to make sure my family isn’t jump scared with a ticket
