Away for the weekend with only my tiny phones screen, so what's your verdict?

Mattias Burling hard to really say I think i need to do some more side by sides when i can get out of the house. Really can not tell a huge difference so far Though there does seam to be less noise in the shadows and darker area's

Hey, good attempt to distinguish, but not much difference in this ! How did you guys manage to shoot perfectly in both modes ? Two cameras ? And is it true that it can shoot xavc s only on SDXC Class 10 and only on a 64gb minimum card ? pl clarify. These cards are super expensive and not sure how much hours of footage you get out of them !

Hi. I tried to record on a class 10 SDHC 32GB card (Lexar ) and it wouldn't accept. Had to get a SDXC 64GB Kingston to do the trick. You can get a bit over 2 hours with this. I think. 😯

Juan Broncano I tried my scandisk Class 10 Ultra's and Extremes and they wouldnt work either. Put in the same card but a 64GB version and works fine so yes it seams you do need a 64GB card

There you go. Must need an SDXC! I've got 2 32gb SDHC that are now a bit useless. I can't see myself ever using AVCHD again! I even prefer the file wrapper. 😊

      Hi
Thanks for your reply, so fast. I got my card a few days ago and been shooting xavc s and seeing its immense possibilities thru grading / colour corrections... never realised its so packed with data (almost like raw from a dslr) ! And a6000 is the perfect camera for this with its low light sensitivity and other brilliant features. Its something every a6000 buyer was waiting and got it at last. Thanks sony. Late, but ok !

Yes the a6000 is a very good camera and its Autofocus system is brilliant.
