    Loved the video. Nice to pick some things up for my own dashboard. Also learn about the templating stuff with ‘~’ didn’t know that was possible. Thank you!

    Great video! Got Sleeping Boolean for weekends you can have it trigger with an NFT tag with your phone and night table … so when you pick up your phone it turns off the Sleeping boolean… you can even set parameters to only trigger after a certain time just in case you pick up your phone in the middle of the night.

    Great stuff Will. I am just about to embark on an update to my views using your ideas before we come out of lockdown and I don't have an excuse to tinker with what my other half calls my "toys"!

    thanks for the great dashboard video. I want to have a several lights turned on by the toggle switch in (4:03 time stamp). So I set up a group. When I add that group as an entity - it loses the toggle switch and replaces it with pop up that brings up all toggles for lights in the group.

    very cool how you build it out. You might consider using the grid card with a second grid card in it, then adding your different cards and setting various column counts from 1 to 4-ish on the 2 grids to make thing sstack and sit more cleanly on your specific room pages. Excellent work thoguh.

    Great video will really be useful for me! Can I ask how did you get the radio stations on your media player?

    Will, I have a question and need a bit of help. First of all love the video it was super helpful. What I'm hoping you can answer is, is there a way to put an entity like a Philips Hue color bulb into this banner card and be able to change the color on the bulb? Thanks for taking the time to answer.

    Hi Will, very good video, I learned a lot ! 🙂 Thanks. But I can't get the little blue button (on-off) below the name of a light. If I press on the name, a new window opens (informations and config of the entity) ! I looked twice to the yaml code and it is identical . any clue ?

    Hello, love your video. I have problem loading HACS the Mini Media Player and a few intregrations. After finish installed it stated Not loaded. I try reinstall again it stated Not Loaded again. Does it conflict if I installed already using the manual copy and add to the ui-lovelace.yami file.

    hello and thank you, at minute 12.57 you use a media.player.bedroom.... what type of mediaplayer is it?? it has a drop-down menu with various radios... it doesn't seem like a classic media player to me... thanks

    Another great video, my dashboard is starting to look good. Could I get some advice? On the custom banner when i add a binary sensor to the card for a window contact it shows "on" and "off", if I use an entity card it shows "open" and "closed". Can I get the custom banner card to show "open " and "closed", and if so how would I do it?

      @@yannmottaz4380 I did. This is an example of what worked for me

      map_state:
      'off': Closed
      'on': Open
      name: Window

    About the "occupancy" flag, how do you detect if there are people in the room?

    • @WillSurridgeTech
      @WillSurridgeTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have an occupancy sensor automation which is based on motion and door sensors - I’ve made another video about that

  • @rasterop1
    @rasterop1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    If we had a bunch of sensors and wanted to display the average of those sensors how would we go about doing that. You briefly mention it but instead decide on displaying the reading of just one of the sensors. I think most people would want to show an average of all the sensors in the room card and then in the blown up tab see all the sensors

    • @WillSurridgeTech
      @WillSurridgeTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you would have to use a template sensor to get the average, and then just display the value of that sensor
