As a developer myself. I really appreciate you keep reminding and encourage people to star repos for devs helping the community. Also your videos are great. Thank you very much.
Thank you! People tend to take things for granted, especially Open Source projects and similar, it's nice to receive appreciation for work and if users don't sponsor them star is minimum effort to get thanks ;) Least I can do...
Keep these type of videos up! So helpful to learn new ways of improving the UI in Home Assistant. Thank you
Thanks, will do!
Thank you! Started using the weather chart card - and the Fold entity row. very useful. Glad you shared them with us. Take care!
Thank you! You too!
Great video again Andrej. I really love those vids of HACS components. Thankyou. The anchor card is really a card I would like to use in the future.
Thank you! My explanation was really terrible on anchor card :D But glad that example at least worked.
I have recently found frontend card called auto-entities. You can use it to display for example all battery devices where the battery needs to be replaced or which lights are still on. Super useful and it has a lot of examples to start off :)
That's great! Thank you!!! I think I've once installed it for lights tracking. Will need to check it again!!!
The anchor card seems really nice, I might have a use for it. Thanks for the tip! ☺️👍🏻
Glad you've found something!!!
I am now using the weather chart card and the Fold entity row Thank you for sharing and your time
Wonderful! Have fun!!!
Thanks for introducing Custom Brand Icons to other users!
Thank you for creating it - it's really awesome and fills need for specific icons! Loving it and have been using for a long time!!!!
thank you for your compliments, I have been following your videos for a long time, if you have icon requests we are always available!@@BeardedTinker
@@elax46 :D Thank you!!!!
Great card suggestions! I'm going to add most of these to my dashboard.
Glad it was helpful!
The weather chard cart is one of the best finds ever. Sleek, informative... 👍
Thanks, have to agree, but I have 2-3 more that are also cool, coming up in future videos.
@@BeardedTinker looking forward to it already. I really enjoy these videos.
Thanks, trying the new weather card.
Awesome!
this is very nice, always new ideas for HACS
Thanks 👌
Thank you!!! Glad you liked it!
Love the icons hacs! Thanks
Glad you like them!
Thanks for these tips. The weather chart card looks useful, I’ll give it a go. The fold card looks more customisable than the HACS collapsable cards UI I had been using, will have to take a more detailed look
Great!!! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for using fold-entity-row correctly!
Thanks for some many interesting components!!! I've read the docs first, not something I do 100% of the time 😂
Thank you - nice components!
Thank you :)
So many goodies, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Adi!
HA 입문자입니다. 이 영상이 많은 도움이 되었습니다. 감사합니다.
Thank you for the comment!!!! And good luck with HA
For me as a beginner a very inspiring video 😀 👍 thx for it
So nice of you - glad you liked it!!!
Hello and thanks for your amazing videos. what is the sunset and sunrise cards with moon phases that you are using? Thanks
Thanks! I wasn’t using the brand icons. I am now…
Oh, that was a must for my OCD (and different speakers I have) :D
Anchor card is super but it would be a lot better/more.modern if lovelace had a "copy link" option built in for each card. This was actually one of the first thing i looked for, was wuite disappointed!
But anchor card certainly helps compensate, thank you for highlighting it, that ones getting a star for sure!
Entity rollup, also super, also something that feels like it should just be a built in feature with a visual editor element.
HA is great and the creativity of the community is amazing but there needs to be a better pipeline for community to core.
IMO! Obvs one man's opinion is a bit irrelevant lol
Thank you for sharing, how are you displaying the time on the card above the weather card?
That's HACS card: github.com/wassy92x/lovelace-digital-clock
Did video on it about a month ago: th-cam.com/video/UButm1BuVMc/w-d-xo.html
Subbed thank you been getting my hands dirty with ha
Thanks for the sub and glad you liked it!!!
I have the perfect entity card for the folding HACS
Have fun with it!!!
Great Video, Subscribed ;)
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you sir.
Most welcome Ron!!
Hello Andrej ! Thanks for the new video. Unfortunately, no "Custom Brand Icons" available in hacs at this moment...
Hmm - strange, I've just checked in repository and it's still there. Check that you are looking in Frontend section of HACS and also, if you haven't installed it already :D
Of course your'e right, I ALWAYS forget that HACS show me at first the downloaded packages !!! Mea culpa !!!
@@francisdemangejazzpianist glad it was simple thing and not something more complex 😉
I’m new to your videos but they are amazing. I already learned a lot and the icons integration will make way to my home assistant too.
Can you share your weather map card you are using? that appears in your dashboard.
Glad you like them! Thank you very very much :)
The weather map is external map embedded in UI - here is the older video I did on it: th-cam.com/video/U8j5p-DUdAE/w-d-xo.html It should still work. It can be used for a lot of things.
@@BeardedTinkerthank you so much. I got it working right away. I can confirm it still works. It’s not loading on my wall mounted dashboard cause the tablet I’m using is blocked from the internet and only works on my local LAN but it work when I’m accessing it on my ox which is fine.
Keep up the awesome work
Awesome - glad it's working out for you!!!
Awesome video!!!
Now... Should I purchase reolink duo 2 or wait for duo 3...
3 will be a bit more expensive than 2 of course. But 3 also some nice features such as 16MP vs 6MP on 2, Motion track that's really awesome feature, better colour night image etc.. Of course not everyone will need all of that, but...
@@BeardedTinker thank you. As I want to finally put cameras around my house, duo 3 sounds a lot better investment for the future. Will wait for your video :)
I discovered fold entity row like 3 years ago and my whole dashboard is literally built around it. For each integrated thing I have one row with basic control and then everything else is hidden under fold. For example blinds controls are visible and when unfolded, some automation parameters will show and can be set.
Yeah, it's really great addition to dashboard!!
Have you tried installing Klipper on home assistant? I have octoprint but my printer firmware stops it being useful. Was thinking about Klipper-ising my printer (not same brand as yours) which makes it available locally I think and I think there is a Home Assistant add on somewhere. Pretty sure I’ve seen it. Might be called something to do with moonraker though.
Klipper as OS or as integration? I do have integration with Klipper in HA. But no, I haven't seen so far any addon for HA that would allow you to install it. Also, just checked with dev that0's working on Fluidd, that would be a bad idea.
But if you have RPi Zero 2W, RPi3 or 4 - that's a great place to install them.
@@BeardedTinker this on HACS:
"Moonraker Home Assistant
Non official integration for Moonraker and Klipper in Home Assistant (via HACS).
Supported Entities
This allows you home assistant to connect to your 3D printer and display:
Key informations about the printer (sensors)
Show the camera image (if installed)
Thumbnail of what is being printed at the moment.
Emergency stop button
Button to trigger macros"
Actual Klipper will be on own RP/printer
HA OS on RP4, thinking adding HACS integration
Think there is also an MQTT method.
@eberger02 I have done it by hand, without HACS, but with HACS it should be easier.
With the last components, could you fold only the twitchers that are offline?
For that you could use auto-entities HACS card.
@@BeardedTinker Thanks for the tip!
You should show us all the icons 😂😄👍
I'll do marathon, not just list, but try every single one of them :D
@@BeardedTinker 😄
It is unfortunate that the fold does not have a filter option. to show one standard if all OFF or offline or same status. and if one or more are on, online, it shows only those
That would be nice feature.
I wonder if the Koenigsegg icon is used a lot...
If you spent valentine's day alone then i feel Custom Brand Icons is for you 😂
We have 364 days to test it - since the video was released on 15th 😂😂
"Green and yellow are better" ?
For new users that are just starting and without any existing hardware? Or for running HA out of box, no install needed...
@@BeardedTinkerAh - the green and yellow HA devices. I didn't pick up on the reference. Enjoy vacation!
