Thanks again for that discount code! I got my black dial version and I love it. For anyone who wants to know you can send San Martin a message once you order your watch and ask them to swap the clasp for the 4 micro adjustment clasp. It was no problem and there was no additional charge.
@@TheBoldHairspring I don’t have an instagram. I don’t have much of a collection at the moment. I sold a few pieces. Right now I have the San Martin, a SARB035, the red Kamasu, and a blue Ray II. I’m actually very content with these pieces. We’ll see how long that lasts 🤣
@@TheBoldHairspring I will be starting a new job soon. I’m thinking I might buy just 1 more watch. I may just save up for a Rolex Explorer. It will take a long time but I think the Explorer is as close to a perfect watch as there is. Plus I’d love to have an heirloom to pass on to my son.
I bought this one as soon as it came out. Have had it for two weeks now, and it's SM's best watch to date (I have about ten to date), worth every penny, perhaps even at ful RRP.
Nice review! A week ago I ordered the SN0021-G-B2 version in Tiffany blue with the sub style applied markers and Tudor style snowflake hands, PT5000. Hope my niece will like it…and the bracelet will size small enough for her twig like wrist…otherwise, strap…!
IMHO, San Martin needs to offer the watch with the longer 4 micro adjust clasp over the 2 hole clasp as a no cost option. 2 holes just ain't gonna cut it for most wearers. Do that and I'll sign up for one!
Great review. I usually like bigger watches but I'm loving this 36mm Explorer homage. The blue dial is beautiful and it will draw attention and start conversations.
Thanks buddy! We're on the same boat then. Shortly after I posted this video they released it in 39mm which for me it's even better 👌🏻. I got one but with a blue dial. I'll review it at some point this month.
Thank you! With the 4 holes clasp it might be just about right for you. Through the AliExpress app/website you can send a message to San Martin and ask them if they can send you a couple of extra links.
San Martin always impress with their build and finishing, just wish they'd stick to one logo and run with it. That aside it is still a fantastic piece.
A lovely watch. It fits very nicely on your wrist! Now that you own a Tiffany dial watch, consider selling it for 20k online 😂 Jokes apart, the watch looks very good, but I don't like the San Martin logo and in this dial it is also more evident.
Nice review as always! not to Hijack, but my black dialed one will be on my channel Soon :) and this review just upped my hype for it....that thickness is IMPRESSIVE
@@TheBoldHairspring thank you for the info, I will definitely use your link if I should decide to buy the watch. Hope you will get something back from it :)
I love this watch but part of me thinks it's to much of a copy of the Explorer, is it an exact copy or are there enough differences that it couldn't be called a copy? Thanks in advance for any info
It's not an exact copy but it is very heavily inspired. The main difference is that the Explorer doesn't exist in this colour but the OP does. This SM is borrowing design cues from both. If you like it get it. People around us usually don't care what we wear and no one will ever say anything. Only people in FB groups might demonstrate some sort of disrespect. If it really bothers you have a look at this: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_AqKn3T Same case but with snowflake hands.
I bought a San Martin watch sn-021 recently and the experience has been rather poor. Just wanna share the story so people know what to expect from San martin in this situation. The watch is finished pretty nice for the price. The lines are crisp and sharp. But the pt5000 movement was broken out of the box, would not hack, stop running randomly (3 times in less than 1 min), and the minute and second hands have bright white lume and the rest have patina lume. Their customer service rep was frustrating to talk to, implied that I didn't know how to operate the watch at first and made me jump through hoops to prove the watch was broken. Even then they only agreed to send a replacement movement. Meaning i'd have to pay to get it fixed locally. (costs 100 canadian dollar at watch repair shops) I wasn't happy with the offer so I started dispute, and after sending even more videos to prove the watch is broken, they agreed to let me ship back for warranty repair. I liked the watch still and was ok with that. But I told them that they need to fix the hands too because the mismatch really ruins the dial. They told me there's nothing they can do and all their watches are like that. (What the fuck?????) I ordered dial customization they told me there's no return. I intended to keep and reviews were good. So i didn't think much of it. But when you ship me a broken watch with a dial that looks different from your product pics, that changes things. Since they refused to fix the hands I wanted a refund. I even told them that they can keep the 60 dollars I paid for dial customization to be fair. They agreed to refund me after days of arguing and now they chanegd their mind again and only want to refund me half. Still disputing this but I want to share the story so you know what to expect from san martin when shit goes wrong.
I think SM puts in the original PT5000 movements. If you want to replace it with an AliExpress PT5000, than the cheap one are clones of the original PT5000 and performance is questionable...
Thank you for letting me know. I've sent an email to AliExpress to have a look at it. It seems that none of the Aliexpress discount codes are working right now. I'll let you know as soon as I get an answer. 👍🏻

I plan on picking up the black dial version soon. San Martin really nailed this version. Thank you for the discount code!
You're welcome. I absolutely agree. I think the black version is very classy. There's no bad choice here.
Only gripe I have with the black version is that with the applied indices I think it really needs a glossy dial.

It's a "sweet" watch. You wear it, play with kids, and eat candies alongside.

I really wished that San Martin would release this model with a glossy or sunburst dial.
