The presentation in this video is truly captivating and impressive. Without a doubt, you are among the top bloggers representing Filipinas, and I believe your contributions have greatly enhanced the positive portrayal of the Philippines. It's noteworthy that we have fewer bloggers compared to countries like Thailand and Vietnam, making your dedication even more commendable. Thank you for your efforts, and take care (Ingats)!
I had to pin your awesome comment, thank you 😊
Keep grinding Mergim, and remember to always stay positive. We love these videos, and appreciate you bringing them to us.
I couldn’t live in passy too many big roads, too many crowds and I’m not a fan of getting a mouthful jeepney smoke lol . When they ban jeepneys and only allow electric jeeps I think it will be much better though. Maybe in 5 years
MANILA is the only complete package Mega CITy In SOUTH EAST ASIA it is located alonh the OCEAN FRONT and it has some bodies of WATER like PASIG RIVERS, LAGUNA LAKE and while Bangkok has only rivers along with Hochi min and Hanoi and KUALA LUmpur Is a landlock city in the middle of jungles so ocean is very far. the only lacks about MANILA is the IMPROVEMENTS in some aspects like CLEANLINESS in some areas like reducing its slums, improve infrastructures and transportations once these issues will address for sure MANILA hands down bangkok, KL and Jakarta would be nothing to MANILA.
what more if reclamation are completed soon it will houses modern skyscrapers along the Bay area which looks like some waterfront cities in the world like MIAMI, NEW YORK, TORONTO, DUBAI, HONGKONG, SYDNEY and SINGAPORE. and i agree Manila could be more better compare to Bangkok, KL and Jakarta once its infrastructures and transportation system will be improved and upgraded.
Actually i already been to some world class cities around the globe and i been to all major SOUTH EAST ASIAN cities like Bangkok, KL singapore, Manila and Jakarta and honestly, though Singapore is almost a perfect city at the same time the most expensive city i think Manila has a huge potential to beat Singapore or could be more better than Singapore in the Future. Manila is a very massive metropolis with a very diverse mega city as well it is located to a perfect location where it is located to Manila Bay, laguna bay in the east side and it has a lot of rivers tributaries all these bodies of water will be developed, and clean its slum area also once the infrastractures and transportation system are improve Manila will soar high in the world.
Manila is trully a modern, developed and beautiful city. i prefer Manila over Bangkok or KL these cities are nothing to Manila in some aspects Kl Is a jungle city and the city easily get flooded when its rain wjhile in Bangkok aside from having no proper CBDs its modern area are scattered and still has post of electrical wires, begars, street vendors and dirty compared to BGC and MAKATI . what goods about Bangkok iis very cheap in everything and it has good public transportation system.
From where you are, you should take this opportunity to do the Corregidor Island day trip. It will show a different perspective of Manila through the eyes of historic events.
My ranking:
1. BGC
2. Makati
3. MOA-ASEANA complex
4. Filinvest Alabang
5. Eastwood
6. Ortigas
7. Malate-Ermita
8. Binondo
How about Newport and Rockwell?
@@wavemaker2077 ahh ok pero too small ang Newport. Kung tutuusin parang isang street lang. Rockwell, parang ganun din maliit lang paikot lang dun sa Powerplant mall...hehehe
@@jaecrowder7802 upon checking the land areas of newport, eastwood and rockwell, i was surprised to learn that newport, with a land area of 25 hectares, is actually bigger than easwood which has a land area of 18.5 hectares.
rockwell has a land area of 15.5 hectares which is not far off from the size of eastwood.
i see you're trying expanding your chairmanship. Next thing you'll know, you'll be the chairman of metro manila 😂
B.L.A.D.E.TROOPER 2098 NEWYORK CHILLYPOP POPPIN VLOG-GAS ( CARS CAN'T RUN WITHOUT VLOG-GAS! ) BEATZY BEATZY ME PASAY SEEMS MORE BIGGER AND HAS MORE URBAN SPRAWL! THAN B.G.C.BEATZY ME! Hello Mergin very nice content, good idea to try to live in every city of Manila, try also Marikina City my hometown which is one of the cleanest city in the Philippines.Always stay safe Mergim...
That ride is famous during sunset. Where you can see the buildings lighting up 12:25
I started to like this part of Pasay. It is so walkable and the buildings are modern looking. Awesome 😎
Would you visit city of dreams this weekend? I think they are celebrating chinese new year.
Go to Corregidor island from there Mergim.
Fancy seeing you here! 👍
Go go Chairman..nice view🎉🎊
You can walk to Cultural Center of the Philippines area. Cross the river you showed at the start. Theres a Dampa there where you buy seafoods and have them cooked in the restos beside...
Look like Hongkong and Singapore together
Move to San Juan Green hills😊👍🤗
FYI there is a place to hold your bags at Mall of Asia. We used it between switching Airbnb’s.
go to camaya coast, Merg. it's a beach resort in bataan, just needs to make reservation in avdance. theres a ferry there in seaside moa, i think it costs only 500php including ferry transfers.
Yes major renovation. They are going to build football field on top of the mall. 10:09
Marina in Pasay is the residential in the Bay Area.
I heard you can also take the ferry to Camaya Coast, Mariveles, Bataan, from Mall of Asia.
try the seafoods in dampa near your airbnb
Nice job Mergim. And nice place Pasay!
Sorry Mergim I’m busy traveling here in the 🇵🇭 currently in Siquijor, I haven’t been watching your videos. I’ll be binge watching as soon as I get home.
Cant wait till you try living in Paranaque City
This is the good side of Pasay. 👍
Good idea to live in different places of Manila .Thank you for the update of Pasay City Mergim. After 13 years of being away in the Philippines ,I've seen a lot of improvements since then.
Im learning to appreciate Manila.more because of your vlogs😊
the philippines is booming
Wow, your near where i live mergim, the seaside is good for morning jog especilally in the weekend..😂
Nak punta k corregidor, boat accross ccp.
Hello Mergim, still watching your videos.....God bless
For me, MOA Complex+Aseana City is the top 3rd next to BGC and Makati. They just have less trees and parks. But more water and sunset
They indeed need to plant trees in that area. There are hardly any trees there.
*miss saigon* 👑
worldclass theater play that starts from march to may in solaire resort
tickets are now almost *sold out*
get some snippets of the infamous *vietnam war* thru the lens of a tragic love story between an american g.i. and a vietnamese bar girl
You're already like a local. You can be a tour guide for foreign guests that wants to visit Metro Manila.
that is a manmade floodway river system
wow... im starting to ilke pasay
Mergim -- Wow. It's not the shoreline I remember when I was a kid in the 70s.
YUP! THE SHORELINE OF MANILA BAY NO LONGER LOOKS THE SAME. AH! THE LONG, LONG GRAND BIG & BEAUTIFUL MANILA BAY, A GOD GIVEN GLORY OF THE COUNTRY. SO MODERN NOW.
If you go to the other end of the street, there’s an underground cross to mall of Asia by the Globe.
You can also try going to Camaya coast in Bataan. There are some boats in esplanade taking you there. A day trip to the beach is a good idea when you have nothing to do. 11:35
Nice video again almost every part of the Philippines you'd toured already, stay safe.
It's amazing back in those days that entire area including the Aseana City was onced part of Manila Bay. In the 90's it was still being reclaimed.
You can move to another air bnb in the area so you can stay longer and explore?
I remember Pasay in the 80s but now it looks incredible with all the lights and buildings really developed now.
Great video. Thanks for taking us there with you and all info about rent, places of interest etc
Those below middle class jobs can't afford there sad to say, its like the cousin city of BGC
Great video, Mergim. Subbed. I'm relocating to PH soon, and have previously decided to stay at Shore.
That area needs a landscape make over. Could be more pleasant for pedestrians.
Done watching Mergim.Looking forward to the next one 😊😊😊.
Why not .
from moa you can go to coregidor where you can check in the hotel there for an overnight stay or bataan then visit las casas de acuzar.
THANK YOU MERGHIM! THIS HAS BEEN SO SATISFYING TO WATCH. PASAY USED TO BE THE "HIGH END" KIND OF CITY BACK IN THE "OLD PHILIIPPINES" DAY PERHAPS AROUND CIRCA 30's, 40s & 50s BUT OF COURSE MODERN DEVELOPMENTS HAVE TAKEN OVER PHILIPPINES & GLAD IT IS SO! AM GUESSING THE DEVELOPMENTS THERE IN THE AREA OF MALL OF ASIA HAS DRIVEN UP THE LAND VALUE IN PASAY AS WELL AS PARAÑAQUE. MANILA BAY IS QUITE A LONG LONG STRETCH OF WATER ITS A GOD GIVEN GLORY OF THE COUNTRY THAT HAS GONE THROUGH ITS SHARE OF UPS & DOWNS, NEGLECT & ABUSE, THANK GOD ITS GETTING A LOT OF ATTENTION & RENOVATION. MANILA BAY IS WELL ON ITS WAY TO THE 21ST & 22ND CENTURY AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA! GLORY ALELUAH! MAY GOD BLESS THE PHILIPPINES INDEED.
Wow! It's been aged last time i was there in MOA so happy to see a lot of incredible changes. Huge thanks to you dude for bringing us there in Pasay particularly in MOA premises..that's why i love watching your vlogs so authentic. Watching fr.AUH.
Good morning! 🌼
It's been a while since the last time I came across your channel.
This is new city in Manila.. beautiful. Thanks Mr Mergim for showing this to us.. boat ride. Light at night of all buildings is amazing.. watching from Chicago…
Fun fact. That 'river' below you is not a river, not a natural one atleast. It's just a small part of water between the islands, the land where that AirBnB, MOA, Okada etc. resides was man made, previously reclaimed. The original edge of the Manila Bay was by the Roxas boulevard.
Love your vlogs. Do you color grade your videos?
I love it
Nice looking around and clean that road in huge that place so beautiful not really have motorcycles around wow
Been a subscriber of yours for a while, I'm from South NCR, I'll be able to give you info and tips as you roam around.
Present! 🤚 ...and always let the ads play😊🇵🇭❤
Great vids
Being next to MoA is a selling point? Not in my opinion! Nightmare! Way too crowded at weekends. The Manila Bay area gets pretty smelly sometimes, too.
condo hunt near okada solaire
When I was 6yrs. old, there were already so many Chinese living in Pasay. Now I'm senior.
Nice good job mergim thank you and bye for now
The very different Pasay during my stay in the 1990s..
You got a pretty nice unit
Cramped!? That's perfect space for a couple wtf 😂
Good idea to live in different cities 👍
I live in Pasay since birth and for me this is the most accessible place that has all public transpo
That’s where me & my family stayed last year.love it
Good stuff Mergim. The Binondo/Pasig facelift must be on your list. I'm doing that next.
Theres a new mall called parkue i dont know if my spelling is right i think its near mall of asia
Amazing contents but at least try to remember the toilet lid 😂
Those lanes look like Utah lanes 😂 looked normal to me
A comment
Nice video of Pasay sea side.. I’ll try to ride that boat sometime. 👌
How's Mergim ?
Wow
Great vid mergim
Is 2k only for one person?
❤❤
You're back to the Philippines again, Mergim. I think you prefer the Philippines rather than other Asian countries. We're happy that you're here
Not really. Watch his previous video.
@FrancesAnneFong I did and he does like Philippines more than other countries. Philippines number 1.
Lol...that's what you think. Next episode, he's in Bangkok and Thailand back again then verbal jousts from Pinoy viewers continues again🤣🤣🤣
@@hathspider9763 Do you think and believe so? that's what you thought, he'll be back to his more comfortable country(Thailand)and the verbal jousts from Pinoy viewers continues🤣🤣🤣
@@charlesdiputado28 stop being butt hurt my man. We all know Philippines is better. What's your address ill send you some tissues
Excellent tour, as always. But I'm not a huge fan of SMDC condos (such as the Shore Residences), as they're generally poorly ventilated. Sure, the views are nice, but stay there a couple days and you'll start to notice how dodgy the air quality is.
He does a good job explaining how to get around in different areas 😊 definitely a plus of the channel
Not a river but a man made canal so water can flow out to the sea as the area is RECLAIMED land from the sea. The whole place is a Reclamation area. 😊
Nice bro for this content in Pasay area, Thank you! 🙏🤙🇵🇭
Mergim, the real Pasay has a reputation of being the epitome of urban decay. Where you are now is part of development along the bay area and doesn’t deserve to be called Pasay.
Done watching _cause Ur now in the Philippines.
Head over to Malabon city, mergim.
Cruising by Manila Bay. Luv it. 👍👍
❤❤❤❤
You can live *ANYWHERE* if you're a Filipino. You just have to be resilient, resourceful, and skillful
Can you?
pasay has the most pick pocketers, and snatchers along the street.'..be carefull.
5:46 why do you keep adding those random sounds in the video?
No thanks, it gives me the feeling of being in a caravan.
Yes! nice chairman
