The lady who told you that if you come from Mandaluyong you are Crazy. That was a joke because The National Mental Hospital (Assylum) is in Mandaluyong.
It's nice to see a vlogger showing different sides of Manila. I think a lot of tourists don't really know and understand Manila. I think it's very underrated, and it does not help that Filipinos, discourage tourists from going to Manila, creating this negative image of Manila among tourists who then advice other tourists not to go to Manila. And what's worse, tourists who has never been to Manila or has been there for their layover and probably has spend few hours or a day, advising others not go, what do they know about Manila? It's annoying, seriously. Being a Filipino who grew up in the province, who has seen the province life and city life in the Philippines, and now living abroad, I can say that Manila has certain vibe to it, that I love. Yes, I love its beauty and ugliness. I love the crowd, the noise. I understand, there's so much more to improve in Manila, but Filipinos are doing it disservice by discouraging tourist from having the chance to see it themselves. I guess some people really just hate Manila and it's people in general, for whatever reason I don't know.
Underrated? Your kidding right? Manila gets the most tourist of all cities in the Philippines only followed by Cebu. So by stating that Manila doesn't get the love it deserves the facts proves otherwise. I think every vloggers just about covered every relevant places, food and history that Manila has to offer. If anything is missing let us know what that would be, I would be very interested in knowing.

Even if you're a Big citizen, it is good that you also feature things exposed to Classes Lower C, D and sometimes even E.
Usually Westerners like these lower tier exposure as it is alien to a lot.
Many Filipinos are not familiar with the Drying Machine. They're more familiar with the 2 in 1 washing machine the washer and dryer (which is actually just a spinner). Drying Machine is much more expensive than the washing that's why it's rare for a regular appliance to sell drying machine because average filipinos cannot afford the deying machine. You can try going to bigger appliance stores like SM, Abensons, Ansons. S&R might have some.
