I think the word Suggs was looking for during his vicambulist wanderings around Soho was "serendipitous". 'Serendipidy' was coined by Horace Walpole in his fairytale of 1754 'The Three Princes of Serendip'. When I was 17 (in 1981) my interpretation of the "nutty dance" to 'Baggy Trousers' was legendary- in my memory, that is. Oh what fun we had, for sure❤
I was never much a madness fan, but in the last few years I've come to love suggs. He's never changed despite his celebrity status. It's great to share his passions for london , he's actually just a great bloke.......camden town, ill meet you by the underground
Love Suggs & his clever wordplay!
It shows in lyrics too!
Thanks for including the credits. Had fun making this.
Justin Coleman thanks for your work on this, it’s a great programme.

Like the classic album cover from 1980.
Can't understand why Suggs didn't mention his mum, jazz singer Eddi MacPherson, who was a famous habitué of the Colony Room.
I keep seeing Suggs coming up my drive is that the first sign of madness?
that is ONE STEP BEYOND!
@@d.hollis9747 Thanks for reminding me who he is, I just couldn't place him.
😆😆😆 good one 👍🏻
Ooooh, MATRON.
Wish he was coming up my drive 😊😆😈
Thanks for the laugh, Ashley.
Thanks Adam, I enjoyed it.
Not a Vape in sight. Today he'd have to walk through clouds of it in Soho
I love that Suggs is remaining Properly sartorial with his Cromby and pegged trousers and generally smart look.
Oh what fun we had...❤
He Doesn’t Seem To Age , Has anyone Else Noticed This.
Love the idea of a Groucho club - but would they have Groucho as a member?
miss the place. 70's
It's criminal what they've done to Soho, bastards have decimated the place...
This is pure gold about Soho and its history
I saw the look on your face when Steven said he lived on the other side of Piccadilly.
Very good Documentary!! He should explore other places!
I wish I'd seen this before I visited the UK in 2016.
Not the same now. All sold off to conglomerates.

SoHo should be short for SoHomogenised these days
same as in hamburg st.pauli.sad.
Get off those beaten paths and try some of the cities in the former Iron-Curtain countries, you'd be surprised.
@@duffbaker9554 But i cant get the train back to south east london if i go there...
@@annother3350 Yeah, I can see how that'd be a problem for you..
You should see Greenwich Village, NYC. Lost all its character.

Only a few years ago but now SOHO Is derelict
Molly Parkin could have dressed up a bit for this, surely?
