Didi's life did not matter because she was a high achiever, it mattered because she was human and the weak-ass coward of a dog had no right to end it. Rest in peace beautiful girl. My beautiful cousin Phumeza was also killed by her monster ex-husband. I hope she hugged and welcomed you when you got to heaven ❤

Because women are programmed to go for money or looks instead of love or the personality their partner has. That's why we men sometimes wonder how on earth would a woman date someone whom we as men would not allow in our circle due to the fact that we know his behavior.

I'm currently going through the same. I told my family, they can go ahead with the family meeting...but as for me, I won't be in attendance. My decision is that I'm not prepared to spend another day staying and trying to fix someone who is and has been broken long before they met me. 17years of ongoing abuse, I stayed because of these family meetings. He was never addressed, they were always addressing me, telling me to forgive and stay. I'm done! No more!

What a sad story.😢 In my 39yrs of being in this world, I've come to learn that this life is more spiritual than what we actually see in the physical. With all the achievements of the deceased, it's very much possible that she was surrounded by a lot of jealousy. The bible teaches that we fight not against flesh and blood, but there are powers of darkness and principalities. And sometimes it's those people who act like they love us the most that turn out to be used by these dark forces to destroy us. For the family to advice her to go back and work things out, was rather taboo. Especially for someone who was well able to live an independent life like her. Even this Aunt who wants to be seen fighting for justice could not be as innocent. Yoo guys, all I'm saying is that, make Prayer your priority, Trust Only God. This is sooo painful, makes one wonder if being successful in this world is actually a blessing or a curse. 😢 It's too much.

I like what old lady said at the funeral. Some funerals need a different type of message instead of saying it was God’s way or her Time. We decide when to kill it’s in our control. We create life and we can also take it. We need to keep it real with our boys.

1 thing that I have realised about the so called family meetings is that they do not invite ppl who would stand for the truth, ppl who would tell a woman to pack and go, it’s always those who would say bhekezela. Not everyone is aware of what is going on, and judging by the way this lady is talking she would not be a good candidate for such family meetings because she will speak her mind. Families are good in hiding such information only a few would be aware of what is going on, other family members only find out when 1 is dead that there was even abuse

Comment. When people love each other they can get into conflict & situationships. What families imagine is that people will be able to find a way out of a situation through love - because sometimes other couple's do work things out. Especially when there are children involved. What families miss is the gravity of the situation. Especially from a person who has jealousy rage. This ninja failed. South Africa is poorer without Didi. I also wish that our sisters keep very vigilant of their partners. This ninja robbed all us with Didi's life.
