KH 358/2 Days has the hardest boss in every franchise. You have to fight 6 other bosses to start the battle. Huge Health, fatal dmg, and dying means you have to fight the 6 bosses again. And you have limited moveset with no special attacks exploit besides Magic that rans out per mission.
But what about a list of all the games casually? Because very few people have the balls to do even a critical run, let alone a Lv1 critical run. KH1FM: Easily the toughest game in the series casually. The combat and movement is super clunky compared to other games and some of even the story bosses are insanely unfair like Stealth Sneak + Not-Clayton, both Ursula fights, Maleficent Dragon, Riku-Ansem if you don't stunlock him, and Final Ansem (all forms) are all SUPER difficult for when you fight them, especially the last one. That's not even to mention the superbosses which are numerous and are even harder than the story ones, and KH1 is the only game in the series with enemies scaling to your progression across the entire game so you can't go to earlier areas to grind weak mobs. Once you save Kairi EVERYTHING is endgame tier and no matter where you go you'll get wrecked. Even the Colluseum isn't safe from insane level scaling. Doesn't help that the AI party members are at their absolute worst in KH1. Re:Com: Pretty hard but VERY easy to cheese and absolutely destroy the game and turn every difficult encounter into a joke with the right sleights. Probably the easiest in the series tho along with BBS. BBSFM: Critical mode in this game is a joke and you can do tons of broken stuff super early on like Thunder Surge spam or spamming shot locks to kill bosses in seconds. There are some tough fights here or there like Zack in Terra's story, Maleficent Dragon in Aqua's story, and pretty much every Venitas encounter, but most bosses and encounters are really easy in this game. The superbosses are insanely unfair tho especially as Terra where you can't spam dodge roll/cartwheel. DDD: Frick this game. Most of the fights early on are pretty easy, but MAN are those last few bosses as Riku INSANELY tough. Blackcloak Nightmare, both Ansem fights, AND Young Xehanort back to back? No thanks. The singular superboss, Julius, isn't too bad and most of the bosses in this game are really easy, but man those endgame bosses are INSANE! KH3: Okay, so THIS is the easiest game in the series, at least outside of the DLC. Every story boss in the entire game is easy. I don't think I died a single time the entire game to a normal enemy or boss (I died a few times to the final ship fight in the Caribbean and I died once to the flying section in the Dark Baymax fight) until Armored Xehanort, who was actually pretty tough. Final Xehanort and every other boss was easy tho, and I played on Proud! Tho I do admit the new and improved Data Org is a very fun challenge that puts everything you've learned across every game to the ultimate test, and to cap it off with THE hardest superboss in all of Kingdom Hearts? Man that's one SPICY meat-a-ball-e.
As someone who played KH:ReCom mostly blind I’d personally say it’s the hardest in the series😂 Almost every single major boss is extremely brutal and even some of the standard heartless fights can be a pain (the plants💀 and the heartless in the final area especially) I’ll admit though that the game becomes easier once you figure out how to abuse sleights but I’ll admit that was something I couldnt figure out on my own😂
Kh3 crit and lvl1 is so difficult. In kh2 you have damage scaling that no experience gives you and all these strats. In kh3 even the Ultima weapon is average and the damage you do is piss poor. I swear I had so much fun it felt like dark souls.
Your description of mysterious figure reminds me of my now 14 year desire to meet the people who programmed and designed that boss and ask them wtf they were smoking to think that boss was a good boss. I only ever beat him one time on beginner as Ventus when I was a kid, never bothered since cuz it’s just not worth it
All I have left to plat BBS is beating MF with Terra and I’ve never chucked a controller through a TV before, however there’s a first time for everything…
I had a blast running kh3 on crit/lvl1/all pro codes… I unintentionally made the game even harder because I didn’t realize that I only needed them on for mini-bosses and bosses so I had them active through the entire game. But it was fine, I didn’t really hit my first real roadblock until skoll, dude gave me more trouble than almost every other boss in the game. Of course the nobody wave in twilight town sucked but that’s always the case unless you’re on beginner(?) I guess. Kinda breezed through the keyblade graveyard after skoll until I got to scala ad caelum, while xehanort didn’t give me too much trouble, the thirteen darknesses as soon as you get there were brutal lol. The data fights for the RE:mind content weren’t as bad as you’d think, they were actually a lot of fun to re-learn with lvl1+ all pro codes, only a few of them gave me a ton of trouble (don’t get me wrong, they all took multiple attempts, but only a few took more than 10 tries… I suck at dark riku 😭) Oh right, and yozora took me like 20+ attempts… it was insanely difficult but fun
Playing as Terra against the Mysterious figure is still probably one of the most frustrating difficult gaming experiences I’ve ever had. 10+ hours it took to beat him. I remember finally beating him at around 5am. I literally dropped to my knees and wept. It took me less than 5 tries each to beat him with the Ventus and Aqua. Never again.
The Osaka Team redemption arc from BBS to 3 is crazy you'd never think the team that designed Yozora and KH3 data fights first did Mysterious Figure at first glance
What's awesome about KH2FM CRITICAL is that on Data Reorg fights, you can be lv99 and use ultima weapon... it doesn't matter, you still deal chip damage and get put at 1HP from a single attack... You pretty much MUST learn no-hit strategies or you will fail on repeat.
How in the name of all that’s sane and holy did you manage to defeat Ansem II (the one in the tree) in KH1 on Level 1?! I am on Beginner mode, level 56, and can’t beat him after over 500 attempts.
TLDR for KH days and recoded: both games at level 1 would have its challenges recoded would be a 7/10 and days would be a 9/10 or even 10/10. KH recoded is a game that I haven’t level 1’d but i did beat the entire game at level 10 and below for a challenge and honestly the game can be brutal in some sections like trickmaster and just groups of invisibles, wizards, and angel stars in late game. But the commands being usable during combos can really help you out. I’d give it a solid 7 once you learn the strats. And KH days? Omg a level 1 run would be BRUTAL I would never attempt that because some bosses will literally take close to 30 minutes to beat IF you don’t run out of items and magic. DO NOT ATTEMPT
I disagree about the Terra take. Ventus is the easiest to use, Terra is in the middle, and Aqua is the hardest to use solely because she’s all about Magic and less about Strength which makes her glass. And that’s on Critical Mode. I always end up having the most deaths using Aqua because of Vanitas, some other bosses, and the big bodied Unversed. With Aqua, the only time it was easy to play as her was in the Final Episode in my opinion
I just finished doing the platinum trophy on birth by sleep. And that mysterious figure on terra was insufferable. The fight is just plain unfair. Did manage to crack him in 3 hours, and the lingering will took me an hour with terra. Ven and aqua makes those fights pretty easy.
I think I found my community! So I'm a new KH player, I'm on Birth by Sleep, and am working my way towards KH3. I wanted to ask, should I play KH3 on Beginner just to finish it, or Critical to grind until KH4 releases? Not sure.
@@aestheticakbar4664 no you when you beat kh3 on critical mode you get an item in game called the "Proof of Times Past." Exchanging said item lets you unlock the Oblivion Keyblade and you can get Oathkeeper from beating the game on any difficulty while also collecting all 90 Lucky Emblems in the game via the "Proof of Promises." Essentially KH3 crit lets you knock out two birds with one stone
I beat kh2 at level 37 on proud and I didn't know that ap, defense, magic and attack boosts were a thing until after I beat it. I thought I was good at the game. I played kh3 critical mode, and died by bring combo'd by 2 shadows in the tutorial. I don't know if I'm bad at the game or it gave me bad attack patterns.
Those who said Kingdom Hearts 3 was too easy at launch definitely regret it now lol. It's like Nomura heard the difficulty criticism and said, "You want it to be more challenging? Okay but don't complain when you die repeatedly." Lol.
I think KH3 lvl1 crit might be the most fun level 1 crit of any KH game and its not too hard if you understand how things work also btw cure converter accessories for physical builds is really good.
Kh3 is the only kh games where accessories matter in lvl1 because your damage is so poor you have to rely on other things to deal damage like form changes and shotlocks
Just saying, but the pro codes aren't even necessary for KH3 to be insanely difficult lol. Just playing on critical mode and choosing magic at the start, my recent playthrough has had me getting one or two shot by nearly everything. I'm about to beat San Fransokyo and I still don't even have second chance either- though critical mode letting you start with the ReMind abilities and all keyblades, on top of new abilities like the one that guarantees you ALWAYS get a form change upon filling your gauge (which incentivizes more magic usage), it's just more fun this way. You get so many tools to get creative with to overcome seemingly impossible odds. I've learned it's really fun using damage syphon to like, fill up my entire MP bar every time I get hit, so I can spam magic. And I got the mickey clasp as fast as possible, which pretty much allows me to spam magic forever with each cast costing a MEASLY 1 MP. Both of these which allow me to rack up tons of damage and get form changes pretty fast. This strategy also incentivizes I rarely use cure, so I never go into MP recharge, which means I'm always dancing with death in battles. It's so much fun.
KH2 at lvl 1 kicked my ass several times. I'm up to Port Royal, but it took me a while to get there. I'm kinda terrified at the thought of doing a KH3 level 1 run. Just normal KH3 Critical has kicked my ass multiple times. I'm not sure how I'd do on level 1. Let alone with Pro Codes.
tbh, the only one that doesn't feel significantly stronger than any other appearance in KH3 Data Fights is Young Xehanort, in fact he honestly feels NERFED, which is saying something. I kind of wished they kept ALL of the bullshit, him flinging your situation commands around, his clock actually being lowkey bullshit unless you know exactly what to do... Instead they mix MF and DDD YX into... a joke.

Am i missing something? KH3 was by FAR the easiest in the series for me, Like disappointingly easy, I've heard the DLC is super hard but the base game itself i only died maybe 3 times my entire playthrough. Overall i def died most on KH2FM, Lingering Will killed me like 100 times, Some of those Data fights felt impossible, And many regular enemies hit super hard and were pretty tanky, I got none of that in KH3, So hearing you say KH3 base game was already harder than any KH game is confusing the hell out of me lol would love to try the DLC tho
I recently buckled down and played recom and I actually really enjoyed it, im at Twilight town now so just 1 or 2 floors to go, it's kinda like a KH roguelike which... Kinda the only way they could do it.
Love how the only way to make critical mode in 3 hard is to use pro code's. Idk about you, but that sounds like a bad mode. Either it's pathetically easy when you use all the tools at your disposal or hard as shit because you basically throw everything out the window. Unlike 2 where crit is a test of everything you learnt from the other difficulties. No need to limit yourself. Kh3 is just so poorly designed. Limit cut on the other hand is better. It's always hard and on higher difficulties it test everything you've learnt from the fights before. (It's still not good because you're dealing with combat that kinda sucks ass, but aw well)
When I played KH3 for the first time I set the difficulty to critical, and I ended up dropping the game during the Remind DLC because that sheer level of difficulty wasn't even fun for me anymore
I remember when KH3 launched and I was like "Oh this game was easy but was fun" and then Critical released and I started to question my own sanity at each boss I fought.
First playthrough the hardest should go to kh1, if ur lazy and don’t wanna watch cutscenes then u need a guide since very important info is in the cutscenes
Ok i get people not wanting to try the ds games, im not gonna be annoying about it, but why in the hell is 0.2 excluded? Like its the shortest of the games so surely its not due to time constraints, and you played DDD so what gives?? I wouldnt even mind if you said you just didnt want to, but you don't even address it, im so confused lol
It's exactly because BBS 0.2 has barely any content that besides Zodiac Phantom Aqua there really isn't that much to make an entire deep dive video on Ofc I played DDD, it's easily accessible versus with something like Days I'd have to utilize other means to play it, also for as much as DDD can suck sometimes I'd honestly rather listen to the Dream Eater playing music than play Days (Recoded isn't a bad game but since I really do not care for the story it's like eh) I'm basically ranking all the games that *EYE* (I) ran that I put into a whole playlist, hope that's a good enough answer, also I technically did address it, I did not run those games at level one, so that's me *leaving them out* as I would put it, I didn't really feel like I needed to go in depth as to why I didn't play them, hope that's a solid enough answer for you

As someone who played KH:ReCom mostly blind I’d personally say it’s the hardest in the series😂
Almost every single major boss is extremely brutal and even some of the standard heartless fights can be a pain (the plants💀 and the heartless in the final area especially)
I’ll admit though that the game becomes easier once you figure out how to abuse sleights but I’ll admit that was something I couldnt figure out on my own😂
>couldn't beat the game without modifying the rules, taking 10 hours on a boss fight: 9/10
>well balanced experience: 10/10
🤔
Some games and some bosses (or some combo of both) are just built different.
Kh3 crit and lvl1 is so difficult. In kh2 you have damage scaling that no experience gives you and all these strats. In kh3 even the Ultima weapon is average and the damage you do is piss poor. I swear I had so much fun it felt like dark souls.
Bro kh3 ultima weapon shotlock makes the bosses a joke if youre not using procodes
I didn' t do any lv1 runs myself but about 2 months ago i finished kh1FM proud with unchanging armor...
and i needed about 358/2 days to finish it (:
I did that plus the speedrun trophy way the same time. I hated it lol
Your description of mysterious figure reminds me of my now 14 year desire to meet the people who programmed and designed that boss and ask them wtf they were smoking to think that boss was a good boss. I only ever beat him one time on beginner as Ventus when I was a kid, never bothered since cuz it’s just not worth it
I feel KH3 has the worst boss behind Mysterious Figure and that is the Horse Heartless in Tangled.
Lol just dodge my dude, it's one of the first worlds, you are not supposed to go and mash like if you had all your abilities at that point
All I have left to plat BBS is beating MF with Terra and I’ve never chucked a controller through a TV before, however there’s a first time for everything…
When I platted khbbs I spent more time on Terra’s version than Aqua or Ventus. Terra just got to different 😂
@@DiademAce he’s so sluggish! He’s as agile and nimble as a drunk sloth.

Bro your so underrated
Every game is number 1, best series ever made ❤❤
Honestly player’s always do what the devs thought was impossible and I love it
I had a blast running kh3 on crit/lvl1/all pro codes… I unintentionally made the game even harder because I didn’t realize that I only needed them on for mini-bosses and bosses so I had them active through the entire game.
The data fights for the RE:mind content weren’t as bad as you’d think, they were actually a lot of fun to re-learn with lvl1+ all pro codes, only a few of them gave me a ton of trouble (don’t get me wrong, they all took multiple attempts, but only a few took more than 10 tries… I suck at dark riku 😭)
Oh right, and yozora took me like 20+ attempts… it was insanely difficult but fun
The advantage of KH3 is that you can get some great abilities from accessories and completion, iirc you can get second chance and once more as well.
@@myriadbIades fighting yozora with all pro codes turned on was hell.
I didn't even knew ppl did level 1 runs.... insanity
Ranking Kingdom Hearts Games Based on How Hard They Are "At lvl one". Save yourself 20 minutes and skip.
I heard you make a joke about the sunken place and I was like, “oh, this is bro” 😂
Man, the days and coded level 1 runs are so fun, you should have given tham a try.
Kh ddd was soooo hard without saved dreameaters from another run 😢
I got to LV 13 and then I saw you let your lord kyroo die against xemnas.
Good day sir!
Without the added deck point limit, completely ignoring HP upgrades is the best way to make CoM trivially easy, lol
I'm just about to done with my KH2 level 1 run. Just beat Xemnas at the skyscraper.
Keep going you can do it!
@@myriadbIades just got it done! Watching your level 1 runs is what inspired me to try it out. Now it's done!
If you thought about doing a kingdom key no accessories run in KH3, but felt it was too much, would you consider it a thing in KH2?
It literally took me 6 days to beat roxas in KH2, i was in a VC Screaming when i beat him
Wait? Regular Roxas or Data Roxas?
@@cjth3beast265 Regular Roxas on Critical mode. I did fine in Data since I was used to it now
How in the name of all that’s sane and holy did you manage to defeat Ansem II (the one in the tree) in KH1 on Level 1?!
I’ll save you some agony, 358/2 Days at level 1 is 10/10 entirely because of Leechgrave and Ruler of the Sky
Ven and aqua makes those fights pretty easy.
yeah im just going to make a tier list on game difficulty without playing 1/3 of them lol
What about KH 2.8 fragamary (sorry for my spelling.) passage? I know it's short and all but does that have a lvl 1 run? If so that'll be fun to see.
I think I found my community! So I'm a new KH player, I'm on Birth by Sleep, and am working my way towards KH3. I wanted to ask, should I play KH3 on Beginner just to finish it, or Critical to grind until KH4 releases? Not sure.
@@aestheticakbar4664 whatever you feel most comfortable with, I'd say crit though since you get one of the proofs for it
@@myriadbIadeswhat do you mean by getting a proof though? Like a trophy achievement?
@@aestheticakbar4664 no you when you beat kh3 on critical mode you get an item in game called the "Proof of Times Past." Exchanging said item lets you unlock the Oblivion Keyblade and you can get Oathkeeper from beating the game on any difficulty while also collecting all 90 Lucky Emblems in the game via the "Proof of Promises." Essentially KH3 crit lets you knock out two birds with one stone
@@myriadbIades that’s actually very neat! Thank you!
BOSSHHHHHHHHH THANK YOUUU
I always use dodge roll over crappy quick step, what is the problem with it? 🤔
Thank you for saying kh 2 was difficult because i spent 15 hours alone on the world that never was
KH2 at lvl 1 kicked my ass several times.

If you play on beginner mode they are the easiest. Try level 1 and you will get your ass kicked by shadows
Re:COM sucked So Bad. I hate that one
(It's still not good because you're dealing with combat that kinda sucks ass, but aw well)
When I played KH3 for the first time I set the difficulty to critical, and I ended up dropping the game during the Remind DLC because that sheer level of difficulty wasn't even fun for me anymore
skill issue then !
@@coloryournight I'll hold that L if it means I don't have to spend hours learning every boss' pattern to a T

First playthrough the hardest should go to kh1, if ur lazy and don’t wanna watch cutscenes then u need a guide since very important info is in the cutscenes
Kh 3 lowest easiest tier
Ok i get people not wanting to try the ds games, im not gonna be annoying about it, but why in the hell is 0.2 excluded? Like its the shortest of the games so surely its not due to time constraints, and you played DDD so what gives?? I wouldnt even mind if you said you just didnt want to, but you don't even address it, im so confused lol
It's exactly because BBS 0.2 has barely any content that besides Zodiac Phantom Aqua there really isn't that much to make an entire deep dive video on
Ofc I played DDD, it's easily accessible versus with something like Days I'd have to utilize other means to play it, also for as much as DDD can suck sometimes I'd honestly rather listen to the Dream Eater playing music than play Days (Recoded isn't a bad game but since I really do not care for the story it's like eh)
I'm basically ranking all the games that *EYE* (I) ran that I put into a whole playlist, hope that's a good enough answer, also I technically did address it, I did not run those games at level one, so that's me *leaving them out* as I would put it, I didn't really feel like I needed to go in depth as to why I didn't play them, hope that's a solid enough answer for you
0.2 is like a tech demo for KH3 tbh.
U rate the hard game low because u hate the difficulty?
