    Thank you for sharing your information on moving to Ghana. I was wondering what should a person expect to pay for a gently used vehicle?

    • @moretodela
      @moretodela  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      +R. Murray it really depends, it would be too difficult to say. Depends on the car, the age and the price the person feels like charging that day lol

  • @caracas787
    @caracas787 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have lived all over the world including other parts of Africa & quite frankly West Africa as a whole is the most expensive place to live & when one looks at the infrastructure or to be honest the lack thereof I wonder why.You talk about Accra go to Takoradi & the rents are amazing one can live in Manhattan for the price you pay & at least there you pay by the month.

    hi pls am moving to Ghana soon from US am thinking of doing home school with my 2 boys. how do you go about it. the accredited program and trying to sign up with is $1500 a year per child any idea on how I can get it a bit cheaper

    • @moretodela
      @moretodela  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +afia agymang it really depends on how you want to homeschool. You can use programs such as the one you suggest or you can put things together yourself to follow the school curriculum. The are workbooks available and even some online learning programs too. A lot also depends on what age your children are.

    do you still have to pay taxes to the UK now that you live in Ghana do they have digital or analog television or both in Ghana how much is satellite television how much is cable television do they have a Walmart in Ghana do they have a Best Buy and Ghana

    • @moretodela
      @moretodela  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You only pay taxes if you are earning in that country. We are now moving over to digital tv. I think the process might even be complete now.

    Hey how are you. i have a quick request. it may help you out also as well. but i dunno which cable tv company u use but i know when i came on vacation once the cable that the guy i stayed with used was called multitv. but youtube just 2 months ago revealed TH-cam tv which allows you to watch live cable tv on the internet. They are giving free 6 day trial do you think you could activate yours and see if you are able to watch cable. if u wana buy it its 35$/ a month which i think the multiv etc cost. more . But i just wana know if it will work outsise the country. thanks

      +Holly Matterson yeah you could probably use a vpn to watch. I’ve used one in the past but I don’t bother nowadays. Since coming to Ghana I’ve had a massive tv detox so I hardly watch much at all apart from a a few films here and there.

    What are some of the biggest differences between Ghana and the West. I live in America and I’ve only considered moving to Ghana or Nigeria for a few days. I’m not sure I want to because in everyone’s videos I’ve seen it’s makes the countries semi seem 3rd world but it still looks very pretty in other videos.

    • @PRINCESSGEMINI1987
      @PRINCESSGEMINI1987 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jordan Smith Jordan Smith both Nigeria and Ghana are classified as “3rd world”/developing countries. It’s good that you are doing your research and asking questions. I would suggest planning a visit to get a feel for it. Also not that going on holiday/vacation is different to living there. That’s why youtubers like natural Ghana girl a great source. One noticeable difference for me that is the pace of life. This is a positive for some people but for me personally I don’t like it when I have to go to the bank well one particular bank should I say in Ghana for example as it takes to long. The mindset of the average Ghanaian is different too. There are different sides of Ghana depending on the type of lifestyle you want to live there.

    • @Jordanthealmighty
      @Jordanthealmighty 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Beauty Stick thank you for your reply. I don’t really know anything about Ghana other than what’s told on AncestryDNA test and it was a huge hub during the slave trade.
      What are some the best areas to stay in I would love to live near a beach but still close to the city Incase of emergencies or national emergencies and might have to come back to America for some reason.

    • @PRINCESSGEMINI1987
      @PRINCESSGEMINI1987 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jordan Smith you’re welcome, aww amazing, so we are sisters. Accra is on the coast. Labadi, Labone and Osu are close to the beach and the city. Labadi beach is a popular beach in Accra. Pricey areas due to the location and popularity. I think you would like Osu it gives you a real feel of traditional and modern Ghana. Osu has nice restaurants, grocery store, bars etc. I should be in Ghana next December.
