this in n out rant is probably the most mad ive ever seen sajam get about anything
Never seen him that heated before its absolutely amazing
I don't think I've seen someone die on a hill so hard when it comes to Witcher 3. Like, it's not polished, but I know of much worse eurojank lmao. I've played Witcher 2 and seen footage of 1.
I thought I was listening to Aris for a sec, I respect the passion
Strive on release was Sajam at his peak temperature
Witcher 3 is great. He probably played it on baby mode @@leithaziz2716
Sajam is so calm talking about fighting game issues that him beginning to get heated about people wasting time at In-&-Out to get his fries faster made me giggle so much
“If something upsets me, I just don’t talk about it”
Wish more people thought like this
Sometimes there are legitimate problems that we do need to be more vocal about. But I guarantee you that if it's happening in a fighting game then that's not one of those problems. (I mean... maybe the whole monetization thing. I dunno.)
My weakness is usually when a streamer acts neutral about something they don't feel either way towards, which leads chat to see that as a gateway to talk about not liking X thing or thinking it sucks. Do you happen to like X thing? Well, now you have to deal with a chat that's very negative cause they missread the streamer's intent.
Funny thing is, I think most people DO think like that.
But you just need one minority of very angry people to be very loud, and suddenly, that's all you hear
Consume and obey
@@leithaziz2716Then all you have to do is go to a chat you enjoy. Sure it can be unpleasant but having a negative opinion isn't an evil thing. That's the beauty of freedom you choose the buttons you press
Imagine thinking before forming opinions. So safe and boring. Just fart out thoughts and outlandish takes for attention like a normal human being
Twitter NPCs be like:
People saying Sajam is overly positive have clearly never seen someone get ripped to shreds for saying some dumb shit in his chat
The best part of the streams you mean.

its insane that its expected to be miserable about what amounts to a hobby for most people
"Misery loves company" has become "Misery for fun"
These days it's all about engagement, and nothing drives engagement more than being mildly inconvenienced by something.
But Sajam is kind of privileged in that he can just not touch things he dislikes. A lot of streamers have full blown crisis over feeling "forced" to play something they dislike because it's what brings the viewers/money. Then again, most of us are spending 8 hours every day doing things we don't exactly like so I'm not sure it's a good excuse for when they blow up. Like yeah you're supposed to have fun with games, but it's not like the rest of us are having fun out here dealing with spreadsheets.
I mean the part that eats me up inside is that it's fully expected to ONLY focus on the things that make you miserable. Like part of the euphoria in learning a fighting game is overcoming that initial skill curve and the light misery surrounding it. But if that kind of content is all about instant gratification, what joy is there in unending despair? If avoiding that is "toxic positivity", I wouldn't want to be normal lol@@reddobr
Him talking about this I was thinking there's no way these people are actually real. Like sure, some anonymous dumbass on twitter probably said something and Sajam's maybe focusing too much on it. Then one of 'em literally shows up in chat calling it "toxic positivity".
It seems they've managed to teach themselves words but it's obvious they have no idea how to use them.
It’s like those reviews you see on Steam “This game fuckin sucks” time played 100 hours
To be fair, those are the reviews I really value. If someone's played the game for a long time and is able to explain to you IN DETAIL why playing it that long isn't worth the time investment, that's a more valuable opinion than someone who just messed around for a few minutes and said 'seems fine'.
There are scenarios where people take time to evaluate wether they like something or not on a fundamental/critical level. I like to call it the Bioshock Infinite effect of "huh, the more I think about it, the more I start to dislike it".
For me personally, Elden Ring was a game where its problems became harder and harder to ignore as I kept playing. And I'm not talking about just Malenia or the snow areas (not to say they aren't a large factor). It made me appreciate a game like Sekiro more, which had less content and variety, but was much more focused in what it set out to achieve.
There's a lot of games where you get put into a Catch-22 situation where if you don't like the game after only playing a little, clearly you didn't give it a real chance so your criticism is invalid. However, if you put a lot of time into the game, then clearly you must secretly like the game anyways so your criticism is invalid.
If the review is as shallow as that sure, is kinda stupid. But just because someone put X ammount of hours into something he dosen't have to then automatically like that. Even taking into account that you can leave the game open and put on hours on the game "acidentally" that is very bad mindset. Plenty of games that start great and become a shitshow later, hell we live in the live service era ga,s can drastically change along the years where the experience dosen't even remotaly resembles what a person liked in the 1° place.
@@Stolanisthat's the thing tho half of those 100 your ones are just "thing bad" with little explanation
I'll never forgive sajam for killing marvel infinite
That's why I love Sajam:
People doin' stupid shit in fighting games? Absolutely chill. People doin' stupid shit at an In and Out? Passionate rant.
"You're not strong enough" is killing me, love the passion
I can’t believe Sajam killed GranBlue, then DNF Duel, and then brought GranBlue back to life. What an absolute Mad Lad.
Master of Chaos
One of the biggest things I've realized growing up is that wasting time on things that don't matter is so useless. For instance, I don't really like NRS games. The solution? Don't play them. Other people can like them and that's totally cool. I only have so much time in the day, I shouldn't waste it on things that don't matter to me (and doubly so on things that i dislike).
Yeah, I did that with NRS as well. I can't excuse the animation-quality at all, and was confused for some time that no one calls it out, but in the end it's better to move on to other things you'd like. That's how I was introduced to Guilty Gear.
Unless the DLC fixes things with the main game, I worry Elden Ring could fall into that territory too.
This is actually a great comment and to piggyback off that, I don't like Street Fighter or anything SNK at all so I just stick to watching occasionally
I'm just glad Sajam is the type of guy would would rather be happy enjoying what he legit likes rather than feeding negative people even MORE negativity.
Keep up the good work, dude!
Sajam the type of guy to make this comment on his alt
Seeing the in n out rant live has become a core memory
3:37 It's funny cuz I watched a JP VA subbed radio recently where they talked about how one of the VAs who voices a character who's just super mad and wired up all the time (for good reason) goes to eat out with them after they're done recording always speaks in an extra vulgar way for a while afterwards without meaning to. If you're in that "mode" or act of character it's hard to move away from it.
5:30 This is the most heated I’ve ever seen this man get
Sajam is like if your best substitute teacher was an fgc streamer. Dude’s mindset, work-life balance, and classroom leadership is top-notch
Jiyuna out here saving games while Sajam is here killing them.
The angriest thing I've ever heard Sajam say was during the food tier list era.
I can not comprehend the world of people that want others miserable and focus on the things that make them miserable.
Do the things you enjoy please. For everyone but yourself especially.
“My job is too dope for me to be pissed all the time.”
I've been to the Northeast and their "pallete" consists of wing places and pizza places that serve sandwiches better than their specialty.
this is too accurate... actually if i get pizza somewhere and it's not very good, they probably have incredible subs. it's always been like this.
I don't even watch your videos much since I'm not a very big fighting game fan, but something inside my head told me to watch this one and I'm so glad I did. That rant hit me so damn hard.
I enjoy Sajam so much. I know that if/when I tune in, it's gonna be chill/hilarious stuff.
I love these videos, i always play these while working and sajam's talk show always has something to teach
It's honestly the biggest change I've done over the last few years, why engage with stuff that's actively negatively impacting my life when I could do literally anything else? Hell even doing nothing is better since that's still just neutral. Plus with how social media and algorithms are if you engage with it it just shows you more and more, only way out is to actively disengage
You're so real for this. Love ya Sajam
Another stream highlights playlist worthy video, these are always my favourite Sajam videos.
How does it feel to finally be vindicated on the netcode stuff, after years of people telling you it didn't matter?
I’m just happy I can play games online
A pretty good example right here of "no need to yap, I just like playing games."

What tactful prevarication.
You simply aren't allowed to act this way, you are required to be outraged about things you don't care about. To hate things you hate more than love things you love.
Or so it seems based on how most cringelords I see act.
I love it when he says "Let me be clear", has so much power to it
A simple spell, yet quite unbreakable
"Your not strong enough" Truer words have never been spoken.
Sajam is more mad about the food that about people accusing him of killing their favorite FG What a legend. 😂😂
the fucking comments on in-n-out got me good i cant lie
I love how having a level headed, and somewhat nuanced opinions is seen as "soft" and "boring" as if the FGC doesn't recycle the same 5 taking almost every year
I think tekken players are gonna have their "the old game was better " phase in a month or two
I don't dwell on stuff that I don't like or that like, makes me mad, etc. I absolutely get this mentality. 100% the best way to live.
I've never heard Sajam cuss repeatedly and passionately about something.
But the fact that it's about the food he likes? Go off king 🤴
This is why we all vibe with you so hard Sajam. You got that dawg in you.
Preach.
Too many people make it their personality to shit constantly on stuff they hate. Like what happened to just not liking a thing and moving on?
People try to make having a healthy relationship with video games a bad thing because they don’t 😆
The fact that you speak your mind and stick to the things you care about is why I continue to watch (and sometimes comment). YT already has enough creators farming the outrage market and I'd rather hear well though out takes even if I don't always agree with them.
Pissed off people will always try to find any excuse to stay pissed off.
Particularly Twitter
"He says safe things!" as a criticism here against Sajam is just being upset someone's talking sense and won't feed into mindless complaining.
this is my favorite sajam video
"I'm not gonna complain about shit" was the perfect misdirect for his elbow drop from the top rope about In N Out. I don't need Sajam to be angy boy all the time, but that rant was seriously cathartic.
i'm goin' to in'n'out TODAY just to stand in line and not order ANYTHING and I'm gunna take a long, long fuckin' time to think about what i don't wanna order
As someone from the Northeast, that In n’ Out Rant was Fucking Hilarious
Sajam, I dunno if you've heard, but Idaho got its first In-N-Out this month and it's led to endless arguments between people who love it and people who love to hate it. This In-N-Out rant came at the perfect time for me, I was dying laughing
Texas was a fucking shitshow for about a year. Conservative asshats talking about how "liberals from California are trying to get rid of Whataburger to make In N Out" and endless rants about how much better Whataburger is than anything else from the "made in Texas" crowd. I haven't had a *really* good burger from Whataburger in years. They've been shit for like a decade.
In-N-Out is so fire if you go with a loved one
Shoutout to the In-N-Out on Placentia Ave. I miss when I lived in Cali
Im glad that sajam is an In N Out lover. That place is amazing
I can't believe the maddest I've seen Sajam yet is people complaining about his animal fries. Symbolic, he's so right.
The most passionate ive seen sajam is when he was ranting about in n out🤣Im all here for it though
Sajam spittin with that in n out rant
Sajam is my favorite fgc content creator simply because he has common sense
This here is a man who intends to live a long life. Not like some of us out here who get so malding we are literally shaving the years off our lives with every tooth grinding hate filled moment of dealing with something that we could just walk away from.
The fact that u have to address that tho. Toxicity is the new entertainment benchmark
Did he just say "envious" instead of jealous? My respect for him just went up and I didn't even think that was possible
Good for you Sajam. Good for you!
Sajam going all in on his hater arc rn and I’m here for it
Been a while since we got a good Sajam food rant
Sajam is so fucking chill that when he started having the talk about In n Out I got scared and embarrassed like I just pissed off my dad.

My favorite sajam rant by far
Honestly seeing people always mad (and for a while being someone upset/miserable) yeah no, people always being angry or miserable or trying to be like that just can't do it
Thats the appeal behind Whataburger too. You're going to oay the same amount for a regular meal and end up with like 1.5x extra
That "go fuck yourself" jumpscare @5:30 almost made me choke on my cookie lmaoooo
Sajam soo good thank you
Reverse psychology; they got Sajam to start angrily yapping about something by asking him why he doesn’t angrily yap all the time
That swift cut down of Witcher 3 game-feel... i gasped audibly 😂😂😂
Respect the in-n-out soapbox
I love In-N-Out and Gran Blue. I also love your hot takes. Selling frame data is lame.
This video encapsulates why I'll understand DSP and LowTierGod's "popularity" even accounting for schadenfreude. (I aso appreciate _Network_ being in the thumbnail bottom left. Such a good movie.)
i really wanna catch with Sajam! id be dying from laughter an hour in LOLOL
Sajam has truly embraced his inner Northernlion
As someone who experienced Woolie from SBFP play through Sekiro and Batman Arkham Asylum, I learned that pestering content creators you like to get into something they don't click with is probably not a good idea, as both parties will have a miserable time.
Fans won't witness much positivity, and the streamer will keep bringing up gripes that bother him. As a Witcher fan, I sincerely hope you stay away from these games for the sake of our enjoyment ^_^
Yeah, it was wild seeing so many people LOSE THEIR MIND that woolie doesn't like Arkham Asylum. I was just sitting there like "wow crazy he doesn't like the game he had 0 motivation to play and chat cried until he played it."
You can be a fan of something a still actively acknowledge its flaws.
Nothing is perfect so it’s okay to critique constructively and still heavily enjoy your favourite whatever.
@@ZephyrK_ Yeah, I completely understand that, but with Woolie's example specifically it was moreso that the problems he had with the game had solutions, but he wasn't motivated or interested enough with the game to fix it. With Arkham, it was how he *interpreted* the combat Vs how it actually works.
I gotta respect Leffen for his pick-a-top-tier-exclusively mentality to be honest. Pick the best character in the game, switch to something else the moment you think they aren't anymore. Most people who pick top tiers just bitch when their character gets nerfed
Hell, Sanford Kelly has been saying that shit since 2009. It's not new advice. It's just that people are feeling some type of way because their chosen characters aren't top tier.
I respect the hustle, you wanna play to win? Play to win, its perfectly fine to pick who you play off whether you think they're good or not, rather than Personal Vibes things like playstyle or aesthetic
I don't respect him period. He's the Swedish lowtiergod
I love how he showed up in the replies like, "At least use the whole quote smh"
@@666slateran666 Leffen is kind of trash, but this is definitely one of those "worst person you know is right" situations.

traffic really sucks today and Sajam has talked about travel before. I can't believe he'd ruin my commute like this
Hello Mr Slamjam, I am big fan of your stream, because you dont sit there and be completely miserable when you play games. I tried to get back into watching streamers for other games I used to watch and it got tiring when they were just pissed about playing the game all the time. Your stream is a refreshing change and other should learn from it.
I’m happy that sajam likes gbvsr😪 , happy that they make such a comeback.
you went in so hard on the in and out haters that i thought i was watching an aris stream for a sec
I miss in n out, haven't had it in like 4 years cause there's nothing like it on the east coast
I've never heard sajam swear but im incredibly glad that the first video i hear it he says it 3 times just talking about in n out. I dont have any critiques at all, agree with it all.
I logically knew I couldn't have been the only person in the world who didn't like playing The Witcher 3, but before I saw this video it certainly felt like it.

You shittalking The Witcher 3 reminded me of why I love this channel so much
the in n out rant was jokes but so relatable like dawg lemme just get my fries
It actually is shocking how many people will criticize someone for being a reasonable, rational human being.
Holy shit Sajam is the first person I've seen to feel how I do about The Witcher 3
Maximilian felt the same, if I recall.
Actually, I’ve seen several fighting game people have similar thoughts on Witcher 3. I think if you’re used to games that actually have fun and interesting combat, like fighting games, then Witcher 3’s combat is just gonna feel vapid in comparison.
The Batman Arkham combat is passable in a game where you’re not primarily fighting (like the Arkham games), but in something like Witcher 3 fighting is such a common verb that it drags down the rest of the game, imo
Was waiting for when the In and Out tweet was going to be brought up
