I went to my mother's house and cut some fresh banana flowers, straight from the tree. I'm cooking them like this. Thank you for this

Thoroughly enjoyed your video. Most people go through the trouble of making it, then eat it and don't say nothing? You gave a blow-by-blow and kept it 100.

Since I became vegan, I have yearned for blackened catfish, so I have high hopes for using banana blossoms! Thank you! ❤

Hell yea. I like you. Thanks for making it from fresh banana blossom. Many people use canned. I don't think it's the same.

The best oil for frying is grape seed or mct/coconut avocado with chia seed also hemp oil is another high temperature frying oil…..💜

Update, so I tried it! Used fresh banana blossom and the texture was perfect. Didn’t taste like fish but the seasoning and feel was on point. Trying canned next to see the difference. Definitely something I plan on keeping on the menu.

You have to put seaweed in your batter for the fish taste. :) Peace.

Hello, i read if I buy fresh , i have to peel each layer and scoop out flesh from each layer, somewhat like an artichoke and it said cleaning process and peeling back can be tedious. Is this true? Im in Kcmo so id go to the asian market because whole foods does not carry them.
