    Awesome ride guys, testing yourself and your machines capabilities is the name of the game!! 😜 Yes I'm surprised your mirrors are still on. lol Great filming of the rough terrain, thanks for helping me show the my co pilot why we need to take a roadtrip up there!! 😇🤙😎

      Where are you and your copilot from?
      Filming should be quite a bit better this year. Bought more cameras and gear, and we are actually learning how to use them a lot better lol.

      @@SideX_Each We ride out of Barrie which has a surprisingly large network of boringly flat trials! lol Having said that we tend to ride on our own, which doesn't deter us from our favorite things, Wildlife, waterfalls and wicked views. 😊
      The thought of you guys taking off for a 3 day ride sounds awesome, and that's something we'd like to work towards! But having three grandsons 2 to 10 my "copilot" would rather keep them in our pool as long as possible over summer! LMAO
      Hey the vids have been great, the new equipment sounds nice but don't go crazy for us, just have fun with it!! Hard to please everyone these days, AND YOU NEVER WILL!! LMAO Now if you have a solution for why ALL VIDEO music and commercials ( like on our tv's) you will have certainly set yourself apart!! lol Your vids are great because you can tell your really enjoying it just keep that up!! 😉🤙😎

      @@geoffreyneish7999 It's just for fun, I don't stress about it. It all started out we were annoyed we didn't record some of our awesome trips the past few years. And one day I just threw together some random cell phone clips for fun. And then I wanted to see it on our TV so I uploaded to TH-cam. That's the first video on here I ever posted. Then it spiraled out of control from there haha. Didn't even own a camera or computer 8 months ago lol. But like I said, for fun, kind of became a hobby. And we have the vids to watch ourselves in a few years down the road for memories if anything...
      Oh, and what about the music sorry???

      @@SideX_Each My comment about loud music and commercials is NOT DIRESTED AT YOU!! I try to watch all these vids under the radar trying not to draw attention to myself!! lol But with ALL U TUBE VIDS as soon as music starts or commercials the volume is set at ten = Busted!! lmao
      When the Go Pro's first came out I strapped one to my dirt bike helmet for riding single track, it was more for what I was doing wrong, danm having evidence really sucked, it had to go!! 😂

    We just did those trails this weekend. Definitely interesting!!! Was also dark with made it very challenging. My machine is over 72” but was able to get it through.

    Not everyone would buy an X3 to go flat out 90% of the time. This video is one of the better ones out there to show the capabilities of the X3 in the tight woods.

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that is one of the cool things about the X3. It is an impressive machine when you think about it. Pound some mudholes, climb rocks, smash woops and bumps at high speed, drive it like a rally car on backroads, and do near 100 mph when you want, or take a relaxing drive with the wife lol.

    Where are you finding the routes and the expert rating for the calabogie trails?? Are there any moderate rated trails?

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I belive its the Renfrew County ATV Club that rates those trails. Here is the website with maps and ratings.

      Most of Calabogie is not that bad.

    Not the best places there in the thick woods to drive with the wide utv, and really rocky and difficult trail there after. Not with all the big rocks.

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It nice to have a challenge and some variety sometimes. I would rather that than nasty mud holes any day. Your CF Moto would make it through👍.

    Between the two machines the Maverick sport and the X.3 which is the better machine? I’m struggling to choose between the two riding similar trails I like the power of the X.3 but the visibility of the sport. Which is more comfortable suspension wise and cab wise? And is the power worth the extra dough?

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a tough question, they are both quite different beasts with their own pros/cons-strenghts/weaknesses. Depends on what you are looking for. The X3 is kind of like a Corvette for offroad. 200 hp vs.100 hp on the Sport. The X3 is a little rougher on trails, but has the ability to eat up huge woops and bumps at high speed. The harder you drive it the better it gets kind of thing. The Sport is more of a soft cushy riding machine for trails, but has nowhere near the high speed performance, and suspension travel. The X3 has much faster cornering ability. The X3 does not have near as much cargo capacity, that's why you will see us use the Sport on camping trips etc. Im about 6'4" and the Sport has adequate leg room but I wouldn't want any less. The X3 has huge leg room, I can stretch out no problem with room to spare. Sport has softer seats. The Sport seating position is upright, while the X3 you are in more of a reclined position. It a tough call depending on what you want out of a machine like I said. I like them both, but for different reasons. And use them both depending on what we are doing. As for price, if you want high performance you can't beat the X3, it goes like hell. But the Sport will still move pretty good, it's not slow. You can easily get up into the 220-230 hp range on the X3 with a simple tune flash on pump gas.
      Unfortunately the prices for anything have gone absolutely mental. And it takes many months to receive a machine after ordering.
      Any more specific questions feel free to ask👍

      Thanks for the quick reply. I rode in a friends 2022 XMR sport Maverick and found the suspension to be rather stiff. I was thinking the X3 would be the softer ride with a bit more suspension travel and articulation. The speed interests me more for winter riding on groomed winter trails or may be going into Quebec figuring the wide-open Groom trails would require some good horsepower to make it interesting. I have never ridden in Quebec yet so personally I can’t say

    • @gunnessgilbert1199
      @gunnessgilbert1199 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess if you had to have only one. Which would it be?

    • @SideX_Each
      @SideX_Each  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gunnessgilbert1199 The XMR's have QS3 shocks, which are as basic as it gets on an X3. Not that they are bad, but not as good as the RC2's or RC2 internal bypass shocks found on other models like XDS or XRS. Plus the setup on your buddies car may or may not be "correct". A lot of people never touch their suspension from how it arrived from the dealer, which isn't ideal. Plus factory springs suck. The manufacturers have to pass government rollover tests and they must sell the car in that configuration. So the springs sold on factory cars are over sprung and mashed down pretty good. Plus they sag very quickly = not the best ride. And like I said before, they are made to take huge hits at high speed. So you sacrifice a bit of ride quality as far as comfort goes. But there are aftermarket solutions and upgrades. That's another thing to consider with X3. The aftermarket is endless and there are many things you can improve. It's easy to pour many thousands $$$ extra into an X3.

      @SideX_Each  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gunnessgilbert1199 If I could only own 1 machine right now, I think it would probably be a new 2022 or 2023 Gen 2 Commander XTP. It's built on the Maverick Sport platform so very similar and shares many parts. Same interior same motor etc etc. But more cargo capacity and comes off the showroom floor very well equipped. It's a pretty good all around machine that would do anything I wanted. But I would definitely miss the X3 haha.
