  • This was our first visit to Greens Mountain and, it's safe to say, we underestimated just how steep and difficult this trail actually is! The Mountain got the best of us this time around but, who knows, maybe we'll be back!
    We ride Can-Am Outlanders and Polaris ATV's. We felt the risk to our safety and damage to machines was too high due to the amount of leaves and wet conditions.

    I've done this trail in Jeeps, on atvs, dirtbikes, and adv bikes. It's a blast.. hard on an adv bike, they're a mad work up and going down superman sucks on a 500lbs bike lol

    Wow, from beautiful to down right deadly! Wet leaves on smooth rock is like riding after an ice storm! But very entertaining from this perspective until you were hit in the head by a "widow maker" Glad your ok!! Good call on the rerouting! 🤙😎

    ….@1:56 with the broken tree was too funny😂. Ronnie on two wheels could be a thumbnail for each of your ride videos it seems lol

      Yeah the tree was hilarious! And Ronnie’s always on two wheels. And changes up which two. Lol

    Hopefully you see this. Just bought an outlander. Are those Linq compatible gas caddies or did you jerry rig them on. If they work with the Linq mounts, what tanks are they if you dont mind.

      Hi! No they’re Rotopax 1 gallon cans mounted using the Rotopax mounts. I have a video showing how I did it if you want to check it out.

      @@johnsoff-road Thanks! Do you have any recommendations on cellphone holders for these handlebars.

      I use a Ram mount but I have a device dedicated to my ATV so I just used some 3M tape to attach the mount to the back of my device. If it was my phone I wouldn’t want to attach something permanent like that. If I was looking for a new solution I’d take a hard look at QuadLock.

    Do you know if full size 4x4s (Jeeps) are allowed here?

    • @johnsoff-road
      @johnsoff-road  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I believe they are. There’s mention of Greens Mountain on the OF4WD website.

    Not a great trail for short wheel base ATV's. Im sure there will be lots of "pro riders" who see this and think no problem. the trail waits.....
    Bit more suited for SXS riders but even then it can be very technical. Ive been once or twice and a few guys said they would never go back.....

    • @johnsoff-road
      @johnsoff-road  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely! It’s very unlikely we will go again but if we do, it’ll definitely be in the drier season when the rocks aren’t so slippery and covered in leaves.
