- Hundreds of passengers have been stranded at Kuching International Airport on Thursday (April 18) as flights were cancelled due to the eruption of Mount Ruang in Indonesia.
Long queues were seen at the check-in counters and airline offices as passengers tried to rebook their flights.

Whats the point of being frustrated? If your plane took off in a Ash engine will fail and the whole plane will lose power and might crash before diverting
Frustrated with not being able to fly or losing one's life. Choose wisely. Don't take the risk. It's not a car.

Ash cloud is dangerous for airplane. Once sucked into engine, can shut it down. Besides, some of the plane sensors can go haywire. Pilot visibility is also affected. So better to play it safe.

understandingsituations/reasons of announcement for cancellation of your flight. happy stay at home. juast take a walk or have a nice lunch, for business, try to call and inform the situation, if necessary, an emergency video call meeting could be the best choice

Cannot be helped voz natural disaster.. got volcano erupted, the air ash cloggs up the air, engine plane rosak, cannot fly.

isunya adalah ash cloud. die terlampau halus dan ikut arah angin dan bergerak hampir beribu kilometer sebelum jatuh.
memang jauh tapi abu gunung berapi tu kena tiup dengan angin pastu sampai ke borneo (sabah/sarawak) tu yang bahaya untuk kapal terbang.

Sulawesi is east to Borneo.
@@siewheilou399 yeah, and Kuching located very west of Sarawak. Much closer to West Malaysia than to Sabah. I doubt Kuching citizen felt any tremors.
