    Great video and I'm planning on making my own soon. What was the tool path you used to get that sloped edge on the side of the mallet head? I'm using Carveco Maker so I'm having to translate the cuts to my software.

    • @MandSWoodworks
      @MandSWoodworks  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I used the moulding toolpath in Vcarve. I have never used Carveco so I am not sure how you would do it using that.
      Thank you for watching!

    Excellent video and appreciate you providing the files to download! What double-sided tape 4:00 are you using? Thanks 😊

      Thank you for the compliment!
      Here is an Amazon link to the tape I prefer.
      This stuff is bad to the bone. Don't put too much or you risk breaking the work as you try prying it off the table.
      Thank you for watching!

    Great work Scott! I certainly appreciate the time you put into your videos to educate and entertain us. Was this nice enough for me to get the one labeled MS?

      But I guess this will do. 😁

    Try Paul Sellers solid head method. Most laminated mallets dont last vs heavy use.

    • @robbie6625
      @robbie6625 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A solid head mallet doesn't lend itself to being made on a CNC very easily at this scale. For most people a laminated mallet will be more than sufficient and will last them a very long time.
      I made mine in Paul Seller's method, but I can also understand that batching out a bunch of mallets as gifts using hand tools would take quite a while.
