- Blake Lively is officially being sued by Justin Baldoni for $400M in damages after she filed a complaint against the It Ends With Us movie Director accusing him of harassment, breach of contract, and retaliation against her in the media, alleging he orchestrated a smear campaign against her amid the movie's messy press tour. The two are now in a heated legal battle involving Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane, Jamey Heath, Wayfarer Studios, Sony and others. This situation has gotten so incredibly messy. Will it end in court?

No, she will try to settle
It’s not going to be a good look if it goes to court. Taylor Swift is involved. The lawyers will want her subpoenaed. Ryan will also be made to testify. It’s going to be broadcast on Court TV. It’s going to be really really bad for all parties involved. It’s in everyone’s best interests to settle this and go their separate ways, but Justin wants a jury trial. I don’t think he’s going to settle.
Suspect Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds will finally have to put up with the same 'threatening and blackmailing' tactics they have been forcing on many to get what they want, to settle out of court. Too many organizations, companies, and people, will be subpoenaed to appear in court for Hollywood, or anyone linked to Hollywood, to feel comfortable with this moving forward. Too much supporting Justin. Plus, Justin has already lost everything with what Blake and Ryan have already inflicted upon him. It is in Justin's better interest to let these lawsuits proceed to court. Especially since it strongly appears most of the evidence supports that Justin is just a nice dud unaware that when dealing with narcissists', don't be nice. Narcissists assume that if one is nice, they are weak.

I think any of blake and ryan's friends who communicated with them via phone are not going to want to be dragged into this. There will be pressure to maintain other peoples privacy. These are big hollywood stars, they don't want to get involved in this baloney.
Justin is absolutely willing to go all the way. He doesn't care. But that's because he's not hiding anything.
They are likely going to need to swallow their pride and settle. But I don't think Justin will go for it without an apology and a retraction of her allegations. And he should NOT go for it without either of those things. And a nice sum of money.
Where it gets complicated is the fact that there are other co plaintiffs and other defendants, it's not all reliant upon justin to decide.

I’ve read this comment just as much as I’ve read “she caught feelings for him and he didn’t reciprocate” and honestly makes me feel really good (even tho I have mom guilt) about not giving way to crying or whining (when my babe was younger) and now when they’re upset we talk about it (okay only 6 so sometimes still whines but you get it) I was/am strong and tough and it IS tough to do that but I keep hearing she “got everything she wanted as a kid” and “she never heard the word no” makes me feel good about saying no, but giving other options. Sorry probably not making sense I’m just terrified of my kid turning out like this omg, or worse having yes men alllllll around them and not loving them enough to tell them the sky is blue.

The way how BL talks, how she interacts with others, how she’s absolutely confident that she has a good sense of humor when in reality she doesn’t, and on top of it how she behaved during the movie “It Ends with Us” all pointing to the fact that she’s mental, no doubt about it.

That slow dancing scene where Blake thought there was no audio, was actually just released with the audio. It 100% validates what Justin's lawsuit is claiming, and shows that she is absolutely lying in her complaint. To me the most validating thing though, that I haven't seen others mention about that footage - at some point, Blake of course can't stop talking out of character, and she thinks there is no audio and says something like "no one will ever know what we're talking about" and Justin confirms it "yup no one will ever know" in a jokey way. I think that gave her the false idea that there is no audio, and the confidence to put out such specific lies about the shooting of this scene, because the visuals alone without that crucial audio can totally validate both their versions.
And this is probably why there's audio even when it's not needed

Honestly, before that even came out, I feel like so much of what he's presented is NOT he said she said. It's real time documentation and conversations between people which corroborate what blake was doing in real time. They would not have been having those conversations back then if those things weren't happening. If it was just justin plotting something... The people he was speaking with would have been like what are you talking about???
There are producers talking to Jamie Heath, saying that it's crazy that Blake is trying to take so much control. And sony writing a letter wondering why ryan reynolds wrote a rooftop scene when there's no documentation for that or contract for that... and if he did, they need signatures immediately for it.

I’m still waiting to see it all unfold. I find his legal strategy weird. He is laying all his cards out publicly. He is doing too much. The narrative is already on his side. It makes me feel like he is not only defending himself publically but he is also trying hard to get ahead of something. Harassment does equal one situation. It can be cumulative. He signed a letter with her he shouldn’t have that will hold up in court. There might be more we aren’t seeing yet. I agree at this point she isn’t looking great but I don’t get good vibes from Justin either.

Her text to Justin about her writing and how she's been overlooked in the past for her writing when he was gently rejecting her rewrite is such complete bullshit. This isn't kindergarten or a remedial class, and it isn't the director's job to mollycoddle her/praise her/be her cheerleader/be her free therapist. She was being paid to act and it isn't Justin's problem if Blake feels overlooked as a writer which was a role she was never hired for. I think this is a good lesson for Justin that you need clear boundaries with your actors as a director and you can't be pals when you're the boss.
Definitely, but I also think she did this kind of thing slowly... manipulating him at first. Then, when they came back from the strike break, she laid out her demands, which had allegations that he had done something wrong. Which she hung over their heads throughout the rest of production, to get her way... along with threats of walking off the set... And saying that if people don't do things her way, they have 2 weeks to get another actress. She was extorting him, which is exactly why he's got extortion in her his lawsuit against her.

The book was written for the literacy level of a second grader to begin. It’s like twilight with DV. Everything is tied up with a neat little bow, totally unrealistic. From the astronomically expensive wardrobe that she designed which was awful to the way she edited the film, like a middle schooler, the whole thing is a total mess. Team Justin all the way!

She’s approaching the scene as Blake and not as the character she’s playing. So she feels uncomfortable when he gets close. If she’s uncomfortable acting romantic scenes, then she shouldn’t have signed up for the movie. And he’s the director, so he’s giving pointers on how he wants the scene to be but she’s constant talking over him. She might have felt uncomfortable doing the scene but there’s no sexual harassment and it’s not baldoni’s fault that she feels uncomfortable.
Exactly, all actors say that these intimate scenes are uncomfortable. She is supposed to be a professional and get over it and get through the scene.

I kinda saw this falling apart for Blake. Idk what it is, luck of the draw, but maybe 7 out of the last 10 cases I paid attn to has fallen apart for the initial accuser. That’s why I am as down the middle as it gets, not even innocent until proven guilty. You have a right to be heard, the other has a right to defend themselves, then you see what does and doesn’t add up.
I always go with the innocent until proven guilty. But he has brought so much proof that i'm absolutely now Team Justin. And I was never against him based on her claims alone. For 10 days ( until he filed his lawsuit and people saw his proof) everybody was screaming what a terrible predator he is and poor blake. It's exactly what she wanted and why she used the new york times to smear him instead of filing an actual lawsuit ( she had only filed a workplace complaint at that point, but people were inaccurately calling it a lawsuit).

All in all this is an entire ploy to get the sequel from him because there has to be a morality clause and ruling in order for them to get the sequel back and all of the actors are staying quiet because they want to be in that sequel because they want money over integrity

But I also think people are overlooking the fact that she geared the marketing away from DV for a reason. She wanted to promote her other companies big time, and she did.
I fully think she is lying when she says that it was sony's marketing idea.
She knew that DV wouldn't go well with her alcohol brand... So she pushed the marketing more towards fashion and florals and fun. And likely pressured sony to go in that direction, just as she had using ryan to pressure sony for other things, like allowing her to make her own cut of the movie... And then letting hers be the one that went to the big screen.
I think all of this was all about money and power for her and to grab at the sequel as well
When sony and wayfarer contracted together justin had a stipulation in the contract that 1% of the proceeds from the movie would go to the DV organization No More. This was before Blake was on board. So sony was well aware that this movie it was about DV and this was justin's goal.... To bring more awareness to the social topic of it, and to help survivors. So I absolutely think blake is lying when she is claiming that it was all sony's idea to promote it in a completely different direction. I think it was her idea. Plus that list that she shows? There is nothing on there that says that that came from sony. And justin is saying it is simply some talking points and was not any kind of marketing agreement

I think it's a little strange that his lawyer didn't add that in as part of her motivation because it clearly was. That's why she was avoiding the DV marketing. I wouldn't say the nose comment is sexual harassment, but if ryan thinks it's okay to scream at justin for fat shaming when he needed to do a lift properly... It shows that flake was absolutely not above shaming justin for his looks. And she actually shamed him and made nose job comments. He did not call her fat. He didn't even speak to her about it. He spoke to a trainer about a lift. SHE called it "fat shaming."

Wondering if the sequel to the movie 'IEWU' that Justin has already purchased the rights to produce has a 'morality' clause attached to the agreement? Suspect that since this generally is the case, it does. Did Blake produce that document written to appear she was working in a hostile environment and being sexual harassed before or after Ryan offered Justin millions for the rights to the sequel? Assuming if Justin loses the rights to the sequel, Colleen Hoover can then sell the rights to the sequel to Blake and Ryan. Sure Blake and Ryan offered her millions more then what Justin already paid her sealing the deal preventing her from selling the sequel rights to Blake and Ryan (explains Colleen Hoover sticking Justin in the back). Also explains the reasoning behind Blake and Ryan getting considerably upset after Justin and Wayfarer refused to 'publicly' apologize in regards to the 'claims' listed on that ridiculous and skewed document. Once Justin and Wayfarer 'apologized', even under duress, morality clause could have been applied. Document also was needed so if apology not publicly given, would provide support and open the door for Blake to file a complaint claiming she was sexually harassed. That she was forced to work in a hostile environment (with her having ALL THE POWER-WISH HER LUCK CONVINCING A JUDGE OR JURY OF THIS). Sure her treatment of Justin and insisting they remain 'separated' promoting the movie, along with having Justin shoved in the basement with family and friend for the Premier, is linked to her playing the part of the 'victim' to convince the public, and anyone who will be addressing her complaint, that they had to be separated while promoting the movie, and during the Premier, because Justin made her feel so uncomfortable, and so forth. Blake and Ryan know how the game has to be played. One of the reasons they are a powerful 'Hollywood' couple even though they create a hostile environment on sets. Both of them are very cruel and self centered people.
Yep but the morality clause also includes that these things need to be proven. So it is not as simple as blake making claims, and suddenly it's up for grabs. And ryan tried to buy it from justin, so at that point, it doesn't affect colleen. Now, if they were able to prove something in court, then the rights go back to colleen, and they could buy it from her. But yes, the whole thing is extremely shady. And it's so obvious that they wanted the sequel

I think you would be supporting more justin, because wayfarer studios produced it. Blake didn't get any money other than for acting. All of the other stuff was just "credits"... she was not an investor. She was producer in title alone, not financially.
It is a credit that is given to many actors in their negotiations, and it really doesn't mean much... It's like a gold star that goes on their resume... And in return for their support of the film and their promotion of it.
And therefore she won't receive more money by it being viewed
Here's my take, I think Justin should have dropped the soft boy feminist act and fired Blake the moment she began to act inappropriately. I also think he should have cast someone else like Kristen Stewart. Blake, her husband and Taylor bullied an innocent man and tried to use their fame to bully someone who was not well known in Hollywood. I also think Justin should have never let someone make light of DV. Apparently the movie was supposed to be far more serious and Blake wanted it to be a light hearted movie.
I love that there is proof and I hope one day false accusors get the same punishment they wanted their victims to get.
