Kylie will never be back. Personally, I truly thought it was over in 2021. But guess I was wrong. I personally loathed her since she started. And still do🙄 🙄..!! So I’m gonna chime in with my perspective and opinions on Kylie as my own, full stop.
She was also my favorite of her famous family and the only one I truly liked. I started following her in 2013 when I first got Instagram, and I loved how authentic, pretty, and full of personality she was at that time, and it was so exciting to watch her rise thru her King Kylie era. Yah the lips thing was annoying, but whatever she was young and trying to fit in…besides she admitted to it and wouldn’t any one of us fix something we were insecure about if given the chance?
What was awful and actually painful to watch was to go from that to her stripping out everything that made her a unique individual to an overly airbrushed clone of her sisters. From her appearance, business model, even her voice and the way she spoke. This wasn’t someone just growing up and changing, this was the dismantling of a personality in a desperate need to be exactly what was popular at the time and nothing else. She became a human Instagram filter, and is completely unrecognizable to who she was before all of this. This stuff she’s putting out now, trying to get back to that…it’s wild seeing that with her original self so clear still in my mind. She will never be that person again.
Because of who she is, she’s never been given the chance to be actually passionate about anything. The only time I’ve ever seen a glimpse of warmth from her is when she’s with her kids, and it’s her energy as a mother that is the only thing that feels genuine about her. Which is wonderful and I wish she’d learn to lean into that more without it feeling like it’s just another cash grab.
Times have also changed a lot for myself and for us all. We peered into the lives of rich people and while it proved distracting for a while, this crap isn’t putting food on our tables, and we’re over it.
People like Kylie and her family will continue to become irrelevant, intolerable, and eventually symbols of our oppression as class consciousness spreads. And on that I’ll leave you to your thoughts.

I don’t remember a time where Kylie’s was authentic or had any personality…. From the beginning her pictures were all facetuned, face and body, IRL she was a complete different person from her insta. In the tv show at first she had a lot of personality but she was still a kid, but after that she changed and became insipid, she seems under anesthesia constantly, never have an opinion, never get mad or even happy, she is lifeless, where is her personality?

Not to be a Kylie defender BUT I did want to weigh in on the perfume launch. Working in design myself, I gotta say that using Pinterest for your entire art direction is rampant. Brands want like a specific result that you can show them ahead of time and deadlines keep getting tighter, I would blame this more on any agency or in house creative that she worked with more so than Kylie herself. The creative industry is a freaking mess right now and there’s no time really to evolve concepts into something more bespoke for your brand. It’s also why ads are using the same styling consistently arguably more than in just a way that’s trendy or of the times. Stealing products is one thing but stealing creative… I wouldn’t blame her necessarily although she is putting her face on it so there’s something to be said for that.

I do feel a little bad for her. She is constantly judged for her appearance and she just wants to be accepted for who she is, like we all do.
But then I remember that her jeans are more expensive then my monthly rent. It's hard to feel bad when she is living in such crazy wealth.
She could've gone to school, she could've focused on human rights or worked at charities. She could've even just made art or music or fashion and she'd have something to show on her resume.

Also if she tried to give back and better the world, even just through art she'd get alot more respect and her looks wouldn't be so focused on.

I never tried any of Kylie’s cosmetics or KHY clothing but I watched videos of people who bought some of it and reviews are very mixed. I also LOVED Kim’s perfume she had from her KKW launch. The ones that looked like crystals … and they had crystals in the package with the perfume. It was unique and smelled amazing !!! I do think Kim has some great ideas. Kylie … I’m guessing she is from a rich very well known family so she has a large fan base so it’s def easier for her to make money bc all of her connections. She is lucky

I think that phrasing is what set the fire and laid the ground work for the expose. Folks were NOT feeling that phrase and started asking questions and digging around so much that the person who wrote the article did some digging and discovered the lies.

I think Kylie got caught up in her own hype. It was cute in her teens. But hit your late 20s and naming every single product after your namesake is just a it cringe. It doesn't sit right as a marketing strategy especially not the way she's doing it. She can come back though, with a little humility and simple innovation like her lipkit, stop 'curating' designs and passing it off as original designs, she can do it.

So why is it so hard for you all just to ignore them? We all say to not look up to them, yet we are still feeding to their attention by talking negatively of them.
Asking as a person who’s only of course heard of the Jenner and Kardashian name. But still to this day don’t know what exactly they do or why they are loved the way they are.
It feels like we are addicted to them regardless. Somehow we keep coming back to find out what is going on with them.

People are tired. Frustrated. And I think the only way they know where to vent their anger, is to for some reason obsess over the Kardiashians.
Me personally though. They are completely different people than me, their lifestyle is obviously leagues apart from mine. I have no reason to obsess over the their family in my life. So I guess I just ignore and forget about them, until someone else mentions their name.
Simply put, I have nothing in common with the Kardashians, so I see no interest in them. Because why would anyone continue to have someone they don’t like constantly on their minds? Wouldn’t you want to forget about them?
