I had a Kubota mini X for 3 years, a U25, and I sold it after I got (I thought) all my projects done. One thing about these small machines, obvious i guess but when stored in a building they take up very little room, as compared to my Kubota tractor anyway. @@SpicerDesignsLLC Great. That means it does have a brake valve to keep from freewheeling. Otherwise, if you were on a slope and kept the track controls in drive on a steep slope it would freewheel which is uber dangerous. Some of these Chinese mini's dont have the brake valve but, will stop on a slope if you let go the track control back to neutral. that will stop them from freewheeling. However, if you were to freewheel a bit gaining some speed and then move controls to neutrual, they would slam to a stop. Again, uber dangerous. I find these very interesting but there’s a couple of things that I consider a problem…. The blade on the front doesn’t stick out far enough, four more inches would be good, it will make it more stable. The roll over protection is woefully inadequate from a safety perspective…. It can be fixed with a few extra crossbars welded in place. This one is well equipped and the thumb makes it much easier to pick something up, one modification to that would be to have a switch on the right hand main joystick like a normal excavator. I still think it’s interesting, thank you for taking the time to put together this video, it was very helpful. Be blessed.
I'd recommended replacing the hour meter. You can get ones that sense if the engine is running via a wire wrapped around the spark plug lead, or given your electrical skills, have the meter be keyed off the oil pressure. My concern with the way it is now is that if you're going to use a standard rental model where it's some dollar amount per day, those days are usually based on 8 operating hours per day, then a per hour rate. If someone leaves the switch on, there might be a dispute over how many hours were used, and it's also going to skew your maintenance schedule. Looking forward to the rental info. I've kind of thought about doing something similar. Problem is I'm limited by a 7500lb tow weight without upgrading the truck, and I'd still need to buy an equipment trailer.
Great suggestion! Im going to look into to that. I left the hour meter on for a couple days. Didnt realize that controlled it and now it has 169 hrs on it. Id like to swap it while its new with basically no hours anyway
Web site has the prices, now that is a great starting point. They need to be painted in WHITE. Black is way to hot. Aridzona starts at 100 degrees in the summer. They need a dealership in Aridzona. That is the machine I'm looking to buy, but not in Black. US aircraft have used flush type grease fitting for decades. Image if the USA went metric decades ago. Great video, your a very good spokes person, Voice is clear, information is clearly communicated You can drive them into your home operate them with the windows closed, Until you pass out. You got the teeth upside down, the reason is to allow the dirt to flow out easier.. The teeth as you have them retains more dirt. Even using round head bolts would be a plus in inside the bucket.. I plan on using this machine to remove Mesquite trees, and put them into a wood chipper. For the price , I think it is a very fair price. WHITE PAINT JOBS!
Teeth are correct how you have them. Same way the teeth on my takeuchi mini ex, mahindra tractor, amd new holland skid steer are installed from the factory.
I designed backhoe and loader buckets for Cat in the 80's. All of the teeth angled the way you changed them to. I'm not sure why they would put them on upside down, unless I'm missing something.
I'm with you, I've seen other you tubers videos, that got their machines directly. The cheap price almost doubled. I would rather deal with a dealer in the U.S. I have a Y H 14 on order. Ron and Adam are great to deal with. I like your videos, help to sell me on them. Se if they will give you a commision?
I thought I saw somewhere that the bucket actually digs better with the teeth the way they were. Would be nice to confirm that. Also, I wonder if a 1.5 ton with the extending tracks would be the optimal compact mini excavator.
I purchased a MMS13 . And I am very happy that an AMERICAN COMPANY HAS GOTTEN INTO THE MINI EXCAVATOR BUSSNESS....I am looken for an AUGER attachment my my EXCAVATOR any ideas....
I have a Chinees tractor. I caught hell with customs over the sticker on the engine, Kohler diesel, CBP says the sticker must be on the rear of the engine, which it was, but wheel loaders mount the engine rear forward. It cost me several grand to have Kohler come out place a sticker on the FRONT of the engine before they'd release it. Hydraulics are standard European, easy to get. Chinees hydraulic compression fittings are by far the BEST hydraulic fittings I've ever used, but are hard to find locally, anywhere in the US so get use to ordering adaptors in case a hose pops you can use standard hoses. That machine looks like it only has 3/8 & 1/2 in hoses so a couple NPT to Compression fittings is all you need in an emergency to pick a standard hose from a local shop and fit it. NPT, BSP & Metric pipe threads are similar but different. If it's on pumps or valves it'll be BSPP, cylinders will be metric, trust me I'm saving you a lot of frustration
Thanks for the info. Ive been doing a lot of research lately on the fitting. Bought a tool that can identify fittings too. Ill be showing that in an upcoming video.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC Thanks The world is changing so it's something people will have to get use to. Those compression fittings can be slightly over finger tight and not leak, you don't have to crank on them
Ethanol actually makes an engine run cooler if the engine has the proper jetting. It also boost the octane. To avoid most of the issues with ethanol when your done using the equipment just turn off the fuel then let it run till the carb is dry. or some carbs have a drain. or if its a chain saw weed eater whatever just pour the left over fuel back into a metal gas can and store it out of the sun in a well ventilated area. plastic allows moisture contamination. Don't buy more gas than you need for about a month so it stays fresh. This will solve at least 90% of the issues with ethanol.
I've seen a few videos about long term ownership of these chinese mini excavators. What irks me the most about these machines isn't with the mechanics and hydraulics, but with the boom itself. I have yet to see one of these that won't get really sloppy after only 50-100 hours on it. Are the Kymron specced with hardened bushings?
Those teeth upside down would play havoc on your OCD! I agree tho you have it set up. What I would say is the correct way. Hey I missed the spicer buck tooth video 😢
Would be a lot more compelling if they had a flat rate for shipping, or handled shipping on their end instead of dumping it all on the customer once they have their money.
Depends on the company you get it through, alibaba is pretty consistent. You can get it pretty cheap if you have it transferred to a port, and pick it up for a lot less than shipping to you.
@@SpicerDesignsLLCHow much care does a painted steel bar need. How much care do screws need? It was all rusting. Otherwise the excavator didn't look like it was used much.
I dont disagree that the machines are cheap. Thats why theyre so popular. If you see one thats rusted out does that mean they all are? Mine looks like brand new still.
I bought a Ferris mower back in 2015. A friend bought the same one a week later. I got the commercial ICD deck. I needed 48" and that's what I got. It was a huge adjustment from operating a scags for years and walking behind a belt driven Bobcat. Anyway mine looks 100 times better than Mark's. Mine was in the enclosed trailer and his was on a open deck. He has almost no paint left seat has almost no cover. It alot to do with ownership.
My yanmar 20 is almost to small.?? I tryed to take a maple out. I didn’t get 6 inches before nothing . . I can barely take big furs out. 6 foot deep. 6 hours 😮
What degree of slope can it climb and go sideways on without tipping on its side. Looks like I would make a wider track for traction and stability. You could make custom tracks with your plasma table and some 3/16 plate and new rollers. Then you also would have the option for some spring loaded suspension for the center rollers. that would help with traction when you go across a rock or limb or anything that would hicenter a track. you could sell kits for it. It looks like so much fun to operate. You're my favorite channel on TH-cam. KEEP DOING THE GOOFY STUFF AND HAVE FUN. Life is too short to not have all the fun you can. That kymron makes me think I could buy it as a toy for me but justify it by saying is a useful peace of equipment That I could make money with. LOL Well have a wonderful day.
Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear your liking the channel. The price point is right on these little machines for a toy or investment. Or both. They do offer that model with extendable tracks too.
I watched you use this right after you brought it home. Man, I think they are a little too small! You almost came out of the seat trying to take down some saplings! The larger one you purchased seems like a much better rig. I'd be afraid to rent the small one!
These Chinese micro excavators are too powerful for their weight and track size. The hydraulics can lift and dig far more than the counter balance. That is why he was bucking back and forth when using it.
It's about skill of operator in a small machine it's different than a large machine you have to get a feel for it more dangerous which sounds counterintuitive but is true big ones easy
I was thinking around $250 a day is reasonable. I would prefer to deliver and pick up myself too. So it may increase a bit. I would have a daily rate, weekend rate, and weekly rate too.
I really like your humor. Reminds me of Dick Van Dyke. I have an intro/ press that like button idea. Remember when the coyote was chasing the roadrunner. There would be a painted tunnel on the wall. When he ran into it, he would get flattened. Having the keystone girl (lady) put a thumbs up button on the wall. Then you’d run and get flattened. Funny. Maybe I’m not saying this right. Anyway. Hope all is well.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC , watched a video on another channel and the engine compartment fan kicked on when the key was turned on. Good video and I like the idea of dealing with a company in US.

I designed backhoe and loader buckets for Cat in the 80's. All of the teeth angled the way you changed them to. I'm not sure why they would put them on upside down, unless I'm missing something.
Ya idk either. They all seem to be like that too. Thanks for the confirmation
Thanks for info
I'm with you, I've seen other you tubers videos, that got their machines directly. The cheap price almost doubled. I would rather deal with a dealer in the U.S. I have a Y H 14 on order. Ron and Adam are great to deal with. I like your videos, help to sell me on them. Se if they will give you a commision?
Congrats on your machine. Ron and Adam are great guys. Its nice to have an affordable option for these mini excavators.
I have a KYMRON XH22D and its top notch!
"This Americanized Chinese Excavator Is Just Better" might have been a more realistic title.
I dont think theres anything American on it. Its straight from China. Just has all the options the manufacturer offers.
I thought I saw somewhere that the bucket actually digs better with the teeth the way they were. Would be nice to confirm that.
Also, I wonder if a 1.5 ton with the extending tracks would be the optimal compact mini excavator.
Id have to test it on some hard clay to really test that. Which i do plan on doing this summer. And yes the extendable tracks are a great feature
you better off price wise to buy this than a backhoe attachment for your tractor!
I purchased a MMS13 . And I am very happy that an AMERICAN COMPANY HAS GOTTEN INTO THE MINI EXCAVATOR BUSSNESS....I am looken for an AUGER attachment my my EXCAVATOR any ideas....
I know Kymron offers an auger for their minis. Im just not sure on the fitment between brands
Those compression fittings can be slightly over finger tight and not leak, you don't have to crank on them
I got the mms 1.5 ton machine it’s a great machine with pilot controls for 6500 shipped to my door and unloaded
It’s worth it…….you made me laugh
You cant have too much grease... Thats true,,,,,
I’d call that grading attachment “the Brazilian”
Ethanol actually makes an engine run cooler if the engine has the proper jetting. It also boost the octane. To avoid most of the issues with ethanol when your done using the equipment just turn off the fuel then let it run till the carb is dry. or some carbs have a drain. or if its a chain saw weed eater whatever just pour the left over fuel back into a metal gas can and store it out of the sun in a well ventilated area. plastic allows moisture contamination. Don't buy more gas than you need for about a month so it stays fresh. This will solve at least 90% of the issues with ethanol.
Were seeing chinese goods surpass US made goods not just in price. Theyre the same quality since all the jobs were shipped there 😅
Watch inside china business. He is american. You will be shocked 😲 😯
Nice Job buddy! Don’t stop the silliness now!😅 The Karen’s will always look for stuff to complain about! 🚜🙌💪🇺🇸
Thanks and very true
I can use this to build my garden. Move mulch around
Makes a good pooper scooper too
I've seen a few videos about long term ownership of these chinese mini excavators. What irks me the most about these machines isn't with the mechanics and hydraulics, but with the boom itself. I have yet to see one of these that won't get really sloppy after only 50-100 hours on it. Are the Kymron specced with hardened bushings?
Im not sure on that one. That would be a concern for me too. I can ask the owner to get more info.
Personally I like the humor.
Those teeth upside down would play havoc on your OCD! I agree tho you have it set up. What I would say is the correct way. Hey I missed the spicer buck tooth video 😢
Its the grading edge i made. I thought you saw that one
@@SpicerDesignsLLC looks like I was busy that day and just liked it and never watched. I just watched and I was enjoying your skills on display.
Would be a lot more compelling if they had a flat rate for shipping, or handled shipping on their end instead of dumping it all on the customer once they have their money.
Flat rate seems unrealistic because everything is shipped to different addresses.
You know before you send cash, pretty easy to make a plan.
Depends on the company you get it through, alibaba is pretty consistent.
You can get it pretty cheap if you have it transferred to a port, and pick it up for a lot less than shipping to you.
Find a company here that has them in stock! They have them all over the US
@@JuarezDerrickany you can name ? Thanks !
That Kymron xh26d is a decent looking excavator, but for $29,900 that's high imo for anything built by China.
See, you want it cheap, how do you want China to provide you reliable products if you are reluctant to pay for what it is worth?
you seem to have missed the point that it's built in China and upgraded in US.
Ok why do you name 30k when he says he got it for 8500?
He paid 8500 for the RH14G
Just saw a video of a guy that has this excavator. Everything is rusting especially if the paint got scratched but also without that.
Sounds like he doesnt take care of it.
6 hours 😮
missed opportunity for a "machine" shots counter
Too powerful? Surely, you're joking?@@andrewgee241
It's about skill of operator in a small machine it's different than a large machine you have to get a feel for it more dangerous which sounds counterintuitive but is true big ones easy
Quick question how much you think that machine can be rented for per day .
" Boll Park"
I was thinking around $250 a day is reasonable. I would prefer to deliver and pick up myself too. So it may increase a bit. I would have a daily rate, weekend rate, and weekly rate too.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC thanks for the info . Sounds about right with pricing $250 is fair
I'm curious how an agt machine holds up to renting.
Idk. I wouldnt buy one of them. Ive heard nothing but problems. And no parts
Good video!
Thank you!
The intros make me chuckle. haha
Thats what i hope for. I try to keep these videos as entertaining as i can. Thanks Nathan!
These things are cheaper than the backhoe attachment for my tractor. 😢 Maybe time to sell it for one of these.
I agree. I considered a backhoe too. I determined the mini was more capable and maneuverable
Hah! Thats a good idea. I appreciate the suggestions. I might have to learn some better editing skills to make that look good.
I'm 2min into this and I want to thank you for the laugh it made the day better
Thats great! Glad to hear that. Hope you have a great rest of your weekend Doug.
Kimron add a fan to the engine compartment.
Sorry, are you asking or telling me about it?
@@SpicerDesignsLLC , watched a video on another channel and the engine compartment fan kicked on when the key was turned on. Good video and I like the idea of dealing with a company in US.
Ok got it. I thought i saw an update on Kymrons youtube channel stating they have an optional cooling fan now.
Well done. Think a 6'5" dude could fit in that "machine"?
I dont know. We could find out…. I know a guy
I’m looking at a battery powered mini excavator. Sounds silly. No maintenance on engine. Not a huge $ increase over a kubota diesel. No fumes. Less noise.
@@restfulplace3273 i saw groundhog has one. Just looks pretty jerky but i like the idea of one.
How long will the battery last? And don’t park it inside in case the battery goes up in flames.
Die Zähne am Löffel sind bei den chinabaggern immer auf der falschen Seite angebaut, so wie du die angebaut hast sind die Zähne richtig
Ist das wirklich so?
small enough to fit under a Christmas tree!!!
Trailer...what type...how much. Machine entry price could easily be doubled or more by the cost of the trailer!
That is an awesome looking machine and I’m sure it is fun to use.
Ya its a really handy machine to have on the property. Its practical for most projects
Just need go change 4 hoses on the controls to change what you wanna operate with
You can order one from China for $3600, delivered and all. Just finished talking to them a week ago.
You should totally buy one from them.
no you cant.
@@adamsorell4851sure you can.
Right away i see bolts instead of pins... No protection for the boom cylinder, defiantly need that if you have a thumb.
@@-JonnyBoy- ya not ideal. Definitely a budget machine.
ahh the machine??
How deep can it dig? Ty
It's all in the video my friend.
great video! did you finance? im looking to buy one from ROn!
They do offer financing options. Rons a good guy. Easy to work with
