I love your son laughing in the passenger seat. My daughters would be doing the same thing. Great video, bud.

For less wear and tear on your clutch disc you should try roll starting in 2nd gear instead of 1rst gear. Btw I love this new channel dude. 😁

I've had to do that before lol. Better to have a little slope to go down for sure.

Ross, You need a jump pack. FYi..... If you ever get an old Chevy with a 2 speed Powerglide (automatic) You can also push start... but you need higher speed for it to work. Did it a few times in my 63 Chevy Impala. Its less stress on the transmission and or clutch to push start manuals in 2 or 3.

You've gotten a couple of comments about using a different gear and they are correct and useful to those you are intending to inform here, especially if you have less of an incline available.

Love the truck, Just note, that the battery still needs to have a little power in it to create the magnetic field in the alternator for the pop the clutch start. If the battery is 100% dead you can push that car all day long and It won't start.

I've had to push my dad's truck down the driveway quite a few times as a kid.

Thinking I have a starter issue (I know nothing about cars). If I use this, should I drive directly to the mechanic or will it typically start multiple times?

This method won't work on an automatic transmission car.

@@TireKickers-RossCameron it was a fun car not very fast but you don't see many of them so it turned heads.
