The aliens only drown in water. It's not their magical weakness. There's an alien in this film which follows the protagonists underwater in a subway but then drowns because it's too deep. Hence why all the other aliens avoid a deep river like the Hudson.

In my opinion, she did just fine, it's not like she was going to live any longer anyway. I also think saving the law student guy in the end was pretty noble of her. Although one thing I didn't like about her was how she was such an asshole to the old people and to the pharmacist guy back at the hospital, that made it very hard to empathize with her.

I would only watch a real A Quiet Place, when i heard about this movie not directed and/or acted by John Krasinski and (his wife) Emily Blunt and having your typical modern black woman in the lead i lost all interest and i absolutely loved the first two. The problem i had with the first movie was that we saw too much of the creature too early. The part where the kids toy makes noise and it grabs him. It's not full lingering shot but it still gave too much away.
Decent cinmatography, and good effects, but that's about it. It's got a very poor storyline. It's literally linear: Go here > some people die > go there > more dies > get to the ship. The first and second movies had way better storylines and very little gimmicky effects.

They were WHISPERING inside the church which had running water in the middle, the 5000 people quickly got annihilated lmao and the pizza was only a symbol for her overall good childhood memories. The shitty taste literally didn't matter. The cat being too quiet is a fair criticism though.

oh no, is it out yet. AQP 1&2 was one of the rare movies i really enjoyed. I couldn't wait for part three. Then i read about that spin off title not directed and/or acted by John Krasinski /Emily Bluntand i was already very disapointed. Everything was just perfect matched. Then why change it. I was under the impression the movies are taking place in sort of a parallell reality. There is no military, no traces of any society` it was like an enclosed reality. WIthout any real connection to your usual modern day society burdens` nor any diversity of any kind.

Funny review which is par for the course. Beyond the woke casting what is the reason for making this movie? Hollywood just isn't capable of creativity these days. First movie had a standard premise including an alien Achilles heel but had some things going for it to make it a surprise success. It wasn't Alien and trying to turn it into a franchise isn't going to work especially if the path forward is to put a chick in it and make her gay.
This movie isn't woke. It's focused on her story as a terminally ill person. The franchise's gimmick even takes a backseat in the film, which frankly should be the actual criticism and not that they're running out of creativity.

It is rated at 7 on IMDB right now. From my experience, most movies except for extraordinary ones drop in score a bit. I think in 5 months, it will be rated around 6 to 6.6 And look, I have nothing against this actress, she just does not look interesting. Yes, I liked seeing Amy in movie one. I want to see interesting people on screen, not the ones I see in a grocery store. Cheers.
The scores do drop after a while. On release day most of the reviews are positive ones posted by bot farms bought by the movie studios. Then after a while real people start reviewing the movie and the score goes down. Theyve been doing this for at least 15 years and apparently nobody actually reads reviews because its pretty obvious if you do.

oh no, is it out yet. AQP 1&2 was one of the rare movies i really enjoyed. I couldn't wait for part three. Then i read about that spin off title not directed and/or acted by John Krasinski /Emily Bluntand i was already very disapointed. Everything was just perfect matched. Then why change it. I was under the impression the movies are taking place in sort of a parallell reality. There is no military, no traces of any society` it was like an enclosed reality. WIthout any real connection to your usual modern day society burdens` nor any diversity of any kind.
Part 2 already gave us a glimpse at "Day One". Also there's like two black people in the film and it's New York, calm down.

As soon as I saw the woke simplord Moistcritical praising it, I knew it had to be crap.
While the other 2 movies were entertaining, especially because of the good acting, this story and these aliens make no sense. The story is idiotic and the aliens couldn't be more lame, and also idiotic as well. They can hear your heart beat but they are not confused at all by all the chaos they themselves make. And that's only one of the several plot nonsensical holes.
And on top of that, a woke third one.
then why is this movie making money?
1: How is it woke?
2: The box office doubled the budget
3: This movie is already considered better than the first two by many

Funny review which is par for the course. Beyond the woke casting what is the reason for making this movie? Hollywood just isn't capable of creativity these days. First movie had a standard premise including an alien Achilles heel but had some things going for it to make it a surprise success.
It wasn't Alien and trying to turn it into a franchise isn't going to work especially if the path forward is to put a chick in it and make her gay.
This movie isn't woke. It's focused on her story as a terminally ill person. The franchise's gimmick even takes a backseat in the film, which frankly should be the actual criticism and not that they're running out of creativity.

It is rated at 7 on IMDB right now. From my experience, most movies except for extraordinary ones drop in score a bit. I think in 5 months, it will be rated around 6 to 6.6

You can't trust any of these movie ratings places.
The scores do drop after a while. On release day most of the reviews are positive ones posted by bot farms bought by the movie studios. Then after a while real people start reviewing the movie and the score goes down. Theyve been doing this for at least 15 years and apparently nobody actually reads reviews because its pretty obvious if you do.
Couldn't they just make good movies/series and not to concentrate to tick all the possible wokie boxes and plagiarizing all classic scenes from the good movies to get some of those nostalgy points too.

The story about her terminal illness is decent. Other people try to survive and she wants to live one final good day. It's a good twist for a post-apocalypse franchise.

This was a pretty forgettable one and done kind of movie. I don't like these kind of movies in NY location I'm so bored of that place.
The whole trilogy was utter shite, basically the same movie 3 times, bored the pants off me, so much doesn't make any sense.
