Yep....sad state of affairs to see it that way....Tolkien vision about the 'earlier incarnations' earlier form of Sauron is also given in his letters: "Sauron should be thought of as very terrible. The form that he took was that of a man of more than human stature, but not gigantic. In his earlier incarnation he was able to veil his power (as Gandalf did) and could appear as a commanding figure of great strength of body and supremely royal demeanour and countenance. But at the beginning of the Second Age he was still beautiful to look at, or could still assume a beautiful visible shape - and was not indeed wholly evil, not unless all 'reformers' who want to hurry up with 'reconstruction' and 'reorganization' are wholly evil, even before pride and the lust to exert their will eat them up. But many Elves listened to Sauron. He was still fair in that early time, and his motives and those of the Elves seemed to go partly together: the healing of the desolate lands. Sauron found their weak point in suggesting that, helping one another, they could make Western Middle-earth as beautiful as Valinor. It was really a veiled attack on the gods, an incitement to try and make a separate independent paradise. Gil-galad repulsed all such overtures, as also did Elrond. But at Eregion great work began - and the Elves came their nearest to falling to 'magic' and machinery. With the aid of Sauron's lore they made Rings of Power ('power' is an ominous and sinister word in all these tales, except as applied to the gods). Sauron dominates all the multiplying hordes of Men that have had no contact with the Elves and so indirectly with the true and Unfallen Valar and gods. Thus, as the Second Age draws on, we have a great Kingdom and evil theocracy (for Sauron is also the god of his slaves) growing up in Middle-earth. He rules a growing empire from the great dark tower of Barad-dûr in Mordor, near to the Mountain of Fire, wielding the One Ring." He also writes more about the physical forms of the Ainur: "The fanar were physical or had the properties of material substances, i.e. were not transparent, could move other objects, cast shadows (if not themselves shining) and were resisted by or offered resistance to other physical things. But the Vala (or Maia) could move or pass over Sea. For their bodies were self-made. They houseless[?] as spirits could go where they would (either slowly or immediately), and could then reclothe themselves. In Middle-earth they usually occluded their radiance." ... "The Valar had a command, great individually, almost complete as a united council, over the physical material of Eä (the material universe). Their fanar which were originally devised out of love for the 'Children of Eru', the Incarnate, whom they were to guard and counsel, had the properties of the material of which the köar (or bodies) of the Elves (and also of Men) were formed: sc. they were not transparent, they cast shadows (if their inner luminosity was dimmed); they could move material objects, and were resisted by these, and resisted them. These fanar were, however, also personal expressions (in terms suitable to the apprehension of the Incarnate) of their individual 'natures' and functions, and were usually also clad in vestures of similar purpose." ... "The fanar of the great Valar were said by the Eldar who had dwelt in Valinor usually to have had a stature far greater than that of the tallest Elves, and when performing some great deed or rite, or issuing commands, to have assumed an awe-inspiring height."
I love that Sauron was gonna just give up on the whole evil thing but Galadriel basically dragged him to Mordor by his hair and forced him to go back to being dark lord. Had they been Balrogs and Dragons, I can see Sauron being nervous to adress them considering they obey Morgoth but not him... That would have been an intriguing scene leading to him wandering what his next move will be ( he did help the clean up After Melkor's exile but he didn't want to face the Valar judgement...) But I guess being back on the orcs menu is fine too...
The only orcs who dared to laugh at Sauron didn't even know him, and probably never entered Angband. Sauron commanded his orcs in a much more organized, precise and military manner. Just imagine if they had Sauron as Annatar right from episode 1, people who dont know the lore or read the books would have had an awesome twist at the end when he revealed himself.
the series' first shot of Sauron was actually good, with the orcs cowering from him. Sauron's speech to the orcs was just absurd when he's already established to radiate power and these creatures are already his slaves, he has had thousands of years of controlling them. He's not a noob
In the scene where he gets killed by orcs the dude threw a bunch of them like they were paper. His sorcery and strength were certainly on display but he was just vastly outnumbered there
Galadriel's tempest, a dildo, comes with a cock ring shaped like ninya. When turned on (literally) the humming sounds like R's being rolled continually. I'd be embarrassed to have written that but when balanced against what the rings of power has written, mine is appropriate.
I was LITERALLY.......SHAKING.......after I saw what Sauron threw that cis female Elf who happened to have the gender of female assigned to HER at birth with his JK Rowling magic. But I swear, the fact that Sauron had the audacity to dive down into the ocean, and put his filthy cis male assigned at birth hands on her and stop her from saving herself just made me so.......ugh, disgusted and yes, traumatized. Not only did I need an emergency refill of my anti anxiety/depression/psychotic medication, but I also DEMANDED that my Therapist give me a 4 hour emergency session which is paid for my the Tax Payers because I'm disabled from the "generational trauma" of slavery, from cis males who were assigned the gender of male at birth. This is the BEST show, ever, anyone who says otherwise is nothing more than an istaphobazi insurrectionist who commits gerbil genocide attacks of racism transphobia, REE!
I'm AMAZED people hate Sauron's character development. This is the greatest villain I've ever seen. Everything he does is to advance the greater goal of creating and controlling all the rings. He "simped" Galadriel to lure her romantically yes, but also to manipulate everyone and forge the rings. The man moves like Satan, wolf in sheep's clothing bending people to his will without them realizing if possible. Confrontation would just tip people off. How do yall not see that?

Worth watching second time
Where can I buy this tempest, and does it run on AA batteries?
Galadriel's tempest, a dildo, comes with a cock ring shaped like ninya. When turned on (literally) the humming sounds like R's being rolled continually.
I'd be embarrassed to have written that but when balanced against what the rings of power has written, mine is appropriate.
To be honest, almost any problem can be solved by turning into Sephiroth)
well, I guess I have to watch this again now :O
You had me at Requiem Dies Irae❤
Please make a video on from
