Ginger was always my favorite of all the female singers that sang with The Speer Family. That's not meant take anything away from anyone one of the others they were all wonderful, but Ginger is the voice I always hear in my head when I hear an old classic Speer Family song!
@Eddie_Schantz I don't know about relations only that she played a significant role in their music during the late 50s and 60s. She's in the Bill Gaither videos as well. Her full name is Ginger Laxson. Mom Speer was aging her voice not as strong as it once was so Ginger was brought in to boost up the female singing lines.

I have been wondering about Ginger. Was she related to the Speers in any way? She can really sing and play piano too.
