How to Install a Hook in the Ceiling

I have watched 10 videos on driving hook and eye bolts now. Eight said to use a hook bolt to drive an eye bolt and visa-versa, which was my idea when I needed to do it. I thought it was clever, shared it, and everyone said that the threads would ruin the chuck, the proper tool was plastic.
Plastic?!
One guy used an allen wrench, which wouldn't hold it securely, but how important is that?
Another guy used a socket big enough to completely go around an eye bolt, but I didn't think about just using one big enough to grab the head!

Is this recommendable for fitting a ceiling fan? The technicians forgot to fit the long hook when doing steel work before pouring the concrete, so now I have the slab with no fan hooks, but i see no bolt attached to the hook, will it work if i use this for ceiling fan?

Noticed you didn’t use wall plugs. Is their any difference when you use them as apposed to when you don’t?

No need to use the plugs if you are screwing into the studs, assuming you are referencing those plastic drywall anchors.

Joists and Studs are completely different, yes you can use a stud finder for both, but when doing a video saying both interchangeable might confuse people.

How do you know that you won't drill into electrical wires?

If you’ve checked and found a joist, there should never be a wire under a joist if there’s drywall attached to it.
