My only comment/complaint would be- while testing weight- hold up the anchor you are testing at that moment so we know exactly which one is being tested- Again in the recap reinforce how much weight each held before coming through. Thanks for your test!

Thank you for this video! I was wondering which to use for the new shelves I got. They're small, just big enough to hold a couple small plants or a medium plant, so I'm not too concerned about them being able to hold loads and loads of books. Each bracket has 3 holes for screws, so 6/shelf... They came with the flimsy looking drywall anchors that you discarded at the beginning of the video, so I think I'm going to upgrade to the plastic Toggler brand. This video helped a lot! Thank you! ❤️

I'm hanging about 55 lbs from the soffit under my roof between the house and the eavestrough. There aren't any soffit joists, only roof joists angled with the roof, so only 1 out of my 2 mounting bolts can sink into a joist. The original, wooden soffit (assumed to be 3/8" plywood) is under aluminum soffit making it difficult to add any blocking.
Watching your video gives me a lot of confidence that a toggle-style bolt into 3/8 plywood should provide the strength I need to support at least 30 lbs AKA half (the other half supported by the roof joist) of my 55 lbs load.

I'm curious how would Toggler anchor do in case of acoustics, do you have any comments? I'm planning to fix 12.5 mm drywalls as the first layer right to the 22mm timbers which is fixed to the rafters, then another layer of 12.5mm drywalls and in between 10mm of cork sandwiched, and I'm curious whether can I use this anchor to fix the sandwich together so the outer layer drywall and the cork in between will be secured via this anchor to the first/inner layer of drywall, and there will also be a 12.5mm of plaster on outer layer.
I have the feeling that since the anchor is made out of plastic and a screw, the plastic will be actually contacting mainly with the drywalls, and it can minimize the sound waves passing through one layer to the other. Especally the impact/contact sounds.
I would appreciate if you can share your thoughts on, and or if you have any suggestion other than green glue, which is financially not affordable for me.
