I got the book on Friday and just finished it today, and I consider myself a slow reader. It was the best read I have had in a long time. I have been to Postitano and the Amalfi Coast, albeit about 10 years ago. I even got a pair of handmade sandals that I treasure and wear about 3 times a year. Thank you for the enjoyable read. I hope you will write more. We (at least me) live vicariously through you! ❤

We live down 148 steps in Pontone, Scala. We retired here 2 years ago. Our house is on the steps from Pontone to Amalfi. Fell on love with Positano 59 years ago. Worked at The British Council in Naples for 10 years. Like you both,our life is steps!!!

As always, great content. Sunday morning is now a bit sweeter. I moved from So California and I so miss my backyard citrus trees. I can’t imagine being a truck driver in Italy, tiny roads, hairpin curves and glassy eyed tourists everywhere. Hats off to Italy’s truck drivers. 👍
That sucks about the car breaking down. That is awful that the bad diesel can ruin the motor. That sure ruins plans. I like where you stayed, and got away for a a couple days. The roses are beautiful. Positano and all of Italy is so charming. Thanks for showing us. Oh, I love lemon motifs. I recently bought a lemon tablecloth. I also recently bought a stemless wineglass with lemons on it. You are rubbing off on me. The runners you choose will look wonderful with your garden like you said.

Haha thats how a vacation should be, you can set aside a day with no plans, no schedule, no rushing anywhere, just chillingwhen you wake up, eat a leisurely breakfast and maybe enjoy nature while doing it….just a few mins into the video and I know its going to be a great one again! My husband and I discovered Santa Maria di Castellabate in 2018, we stayed in Agropoli, but took a bus to the town of Santa Maria. We loved it so much we came back in 2019 and stayed in Santa Maria before heading to Sicily. It's such a beautiful area.

Thankfully you weren't stuck for too long , after breaking down , the people, all so helpful too. And of course Carlo is Italian 🇮🇹 , I wonder how people from other countries would get on ,in this situation 🙆🤦And you got to relax around the pool the next day. I'm not sure you were relaxed though. Maybe a little frustrated maybe. Think you wanted to get out and about. You didn't even swim .. Loving the Table Display demonstration 🌺🌷. And YES the second Setting is definitely more you. , with the flowers , fabulous colours 🌺🌸 perfect .. and how the lady did the runner. And the placemats either side. Wow! Nicki,Thank you for writing such a wonderful book! A really great story - no I won't spoil the ending but just to say it was one of the fastest books I have read and enjoyed so much! Even if someone has not had the great pleasure of going to Positano, you describe everything so well, the people, houses, shops, sea, cafes, bars, food, restaurants beaches, hillsides etc., bringing them to life that you feel as if you are there and would certainly like to be. I highly recommend this delightful book! I have recommended it to a top vlogger in London (and told her to buy it on amazon as a kindle or in paperback) as she was asking for a good book to read and to recommend to others this summer. She wrote straight back that she will check it out! Nicki, I know you mentioned possibly writing another book. I read a lot of different "cozy mystery" style books and thought that Positano would lend itself perfectly to that type of book series. Started your book last night and I have to say I read the first 3 chapters before bed and thoroughly enjoyed it! That was a great table lesson, thank you! For the book, I found it when I searched "nicki positiano". When I searched the title, I did not get it in my results. I was in the Kindle Store, yet my search results gave me clothes with lemons on them. With your name, it was the first result.

Watching the Lady explain the table decorated with lemons my dining room and kitchen is completely decorated with lemons I wish you could see it I do it every year for summer to beautiful.
I was in postanio last week, I was there on vacation, we were on a cruise excursion so we only had 1 hour to roam around and we also went to Sorrento my daughter and I were there we also stopped at the lemon cello factory. We had a wonderful time and it was my dream to come to Italy and to Postanio.
what a pretty pool and terrace that B & B has. ❤️ years ago we had the same problem in N. California with crappy gas from one company in particular. Everyone complained how the car sputtered and ran shitty after a fill up there. this was back in the 70's.
