The thing with Alby dungeon for this event is that you want to get the Weaving skill first then do Alby Advanced to collect Larva Cocoons. At the end of the dungeon you use the spinning wheel (after killing the dungeon boss) to make Yarn Keys. Yarn Keys allow you to open more chests at the chest room at the end of the dungeon which gives you more chances to get the Ten Thousand Year Dragon Horn and other items. Other than that you need to get the Eminent Alchemist's Note to boost your crafting success rate for the Marshal Fire Dragon. It will save you a lot of time and prevent suffering for the most part (though not always). Anyways looking forward to more of your videoes!

The horn that drops from dungeons was the most difficult drop out of all the other materials. I probably ran through 10 Advance Dungeons and it didn't drop even once. Even once you have all the material the chance of her successfully crafting the item is extremely low. I was only after the Marshal Fire Dragon Transformation Medal which is a low drop rate reward if the crafting the horn fails. Finally I just gave up and bought the Transformation Medal. This event is well known for being unfair and challenging.
Fails? The medal seemed to be awarded when it succeeded, at least I got it along with the title coupon when the crafting succeeded. Didn't know it was possible to get as a failure reward tbh.
Yeah it was pretty rough this time around. My wife ended up only taking like 3 attempts to craft it right at the beginning of the event. I figured it wouldn't be too hard. Took me closer to 7 or 8 tries I think myself. And we managed (somehow) without the Alchemist's Note to boost the success chances, as well. I'm pretty surprised it didn't seem to make it much easier for you tbh. Glad you got the dragon in the end though! One of the good things about events like this is that as it gets towards the end of the event, the materials get much cheaper to buy, especially since they put in a constraint that you can only craft a single horn yourself. So all the players on the tail end finding materials they can't use drives the prices on the auction house waaaaay down. In the beginning the ten-thousand year horns were a solid like 1.5 million *each*, which was very rough to work with. I empathise with the dungeon running though, it's super rough. I ran Alby Advanced for the additional chests a huge number of times, but I think I only saw it drop a horn like once, maybe twice, and never for me, only for party members who also needed it. For whatever reason, possibly just blind luck, I had much better luck running Alby Intermediate for horns, I got like a half dozen from running that maybe 20-30 times.
Don't get too hyped about the Iria commerce update, while it grants new ways to make ducat and earn gear and items, the frustration and grind will be roughly the same with the bandit spawn and apparently dragon harassment if you chose to fly with the airship.
@@PartyMurloc Being harassed by a dragon's fireball while you fly on a airship with cramped movable space? Imagine if it plays like Rafting but in the sky. Or Hot air balloon as the only alternative.
Events and updates will be not as good for a while until Nexon and Devcat deal with their hiring and get their work back in order... But even then I have my doubts because Nexon makes more from China.
