I have no idea why there are so many editing errors for like 2 minuets between 14:30 and 16:30 sorry guys. I must have accidentally broken something in the edit and not realised.
If anyone wants to know how hard Blacksmithing used to be, look up Meiya's Blacksmithing Guide and Reference. It was listing values of, what, 500 million gold worth of material to reach rank 1? The number of materials needed was being measured in tens of thousands of braids or ingots... For a single rank up.
BIGGEST Mabinogi tip: Go into OPTIONS, first menu youll see Expand Zoom and Field of View.. Put that to max and see how far u can zoom out. Game changer.
should of probably gotten you to atlest current lvl 100 since that starts a bonus exp for the talent training reqiurments. its seperate from training count and increases each training count exp it gives by a set amount, lvl 100 of the proper talent i think starts at 1.5x, 200 is 2x, and if you got what is known as a blueprism item can increase it by another 2x. theres also another thing for upgraded homesteads that lets you use a type of buff for another 1.3x-1.5x. 200 with the blue prism and the homestead at 1.5x gives a exp per count 6x. life skill pot and correct talent is another 4x. nao title(theres others then just nao) and even are further. these exp multis are important since it takes something like "sucsessfuly forge a shield" max exp from 20 to 120 and makes certain life skills much more barable and why people wait till getting access to these certain things to do life talents
you know, funnily enough, I actually wrote the shorthand version of this explanation in the comments for a previous video. I did this at 200 two years ago for blacksmithing funnily enough.
now is more ease on the last update but the hard part to do at that moment was get the Fine Leather, the ingots are easy by Alchemy to convert and duplicate the ingots
Little tip for training some of these very difficult / grindy crafting skills: if you're rebirthed into the talent AND you wait till you're over lv100 to train it, you'll get a multiplier applied to skill training. Every 10 levels above lv100 will increase the multiplier by a little, but even lv100 is a huge 1.5x multiplier, up to 2x at lv190. The easiest thing to do that is Blaanid quests for the EXP they give which will quickly get you above lv100; I think two Blaanid quests in a row get you to around lv145 from lv1, if you still have some Blaanid quests available.
When you rebirth into a talent and get to level 100 you get 1.5 to 2x training pts depending on your level. This Also stacks with life skills training potion, event, the event complete potion to get to x32 training. You can stack up to 128.
Love your videos its refreshing and also you read the text so it refreshing even as a vet player. You can use blanniid as a mount by pressing R.. Shes fast af. Also u can speak to her (i Forget the hotkey but u can also right click) And you get free skill upgrades up to r3. Also teaches u alot of skills.
Congrats on rank B blacksmithing! now you can get master with other skills :D It's nice to see someone dedicate their time to life skills they are the reason I play Mabinogi it's a fascinating system. I wonder what skill are you going to rank up next? =w= I vote cooking because it's fun, and you can borrow my exp cooking gear for it ~
@@PartyMurloc If you're still looking at life skills, Tailoring makes a great complement to Blacksmithing tbh; once you train your Weaving skill to a decently high level, you can make a lot more of the materials you're currently having difficulty with finding, and most of them aren't super difficult to make once you get the skill rank up a bit. They are still a bit material heavy, but once you can make more of your own materials it becomes much less difficult. A recent update means you can specifically craft the different grades of silk or fabric, thankfully; before that it was RNG which grade you'd get which made getting tailoring materials a bit tricky for the higher quality items. Super glad it's much easier to work with now. Also, the Friends of the Goddess doll bag you got I think includes a Kristell doll, which'll collect tailoring items (like cobwebs and wool) for you if you don't already have another doll bag that collects tailoring materials (you might already have another, I don't recall...)
Also, I'm aware we're not often online at the same times, but if you're in the mood for blacksmithing at some point just send me a quick note in-game (Taeryis) with a list of materials you're short on and I'll mail them over when I get back in the game. I have a stockpile of materials that I'd be happy to share to help you rank up ^^
Hate leveling magicraft and engineering but at least they have a zone nearby their crafting station you can get mats to grind them to r1. Blacksmithing is so much worse on so many levels the materials and recipes are a pain in the ass to get ahold of on top of there being a minigame just to add more frustration to it. Worst part of all on the cherry on top is black smithing besides the stats you gain mastering it is a waste of time because magicraft and engineering make better items anyways.

Again a very enjoyable video. It's also nice to see someone actually enjoying the game they are playing.
Yay Thank you!

Definitely gonna need to be level 100 at least
you should post a guide on this on reddit so it can hel;p me because I had no idea either
now is more ease on the last update but the hard part to do at that moment was get the Fine Leather, the ingots are easy by Alchemy to convert and duplicate the ingots
The Blacksmith part-time job helps with ranking up Blacksmithing, at least to Rank A.

Good advice I think I'll be doing that for my life skills from now on

Yesss I love that doll. I used it alot when I was grinding spiderwebs to make thin thread balls to sell on the auction house

Normally 8am BST every week day
@@PartyMurloc Awesome thank you!

Thanks! I might just have to do that
You could of done rank e to 9 or is it 8 for free for blksmith
I think i might do
If you think thats a nightmare time to get a lava cat robe mining fossils in sulfer mines or max reforging a item 100% free without insta rank 1
lol did your chat tell you about -dex items and how they help alot in smithing for failing
Uhhhhh no unless I've forgotten
ooh good point! Yeah, certain low rank enchants can give DEX debuffs to make failures more common if you need those for training.

you could try to enchant your pickaxe with Fortune, and Unbreaking... 🤣🙃🤪
