Well I doubt her son is in jail. He probably got bail in 1 hour after they processed him and it will take up to 2 years for a court case to happen if it even goes that far. Which I doubt. Since it is a first offense and his only crime is driving without a license and leaving a sceen of a accident he probably will not even serve a year. If they have the proof she lied, she should be arrest and not allow to work. But she deserve bail just like everyone else and my guess she may lose her career, but will probably not go to jail. Look at people like Steve Bannon. He not only denied showing up for Congress, he bragged all over the media about it. Well that is suppose to be a 5 years sentence and he got 4 months. Trump is convicted of 32 felonies but he probably will not get jail time. Non violent crime are just not given the same in sentences because the jails just do not have room for these people. So she will probably get something like 2 years but give a stay of adjudication where she will probably serve that time on probation.

When I took drivers training, one of the kids in my driver's ed class DROVE, alone, to the class. He had special paperwork granted by the government to allow him to do so.

If he had his temps, he needs a licensed driver over 21 with him. If the accident was not the teen's fault, he should've taken his charges for underage driving alone, and momcop should've let him take responsibility. He left the scene and now the coverup may get both charges and mom fired.

ONLY when it goes public and the police can't protect themselves from scrutiny, otherwise they do what they like and their superiors protect them from accountability.

As far as LEOs being held to a higher standard of behavior, that's total B.S. They SHOULD be, but, in reality, they're not held to the same standard they hold the rest of us to.
