When I listen to Chael, I always envision a heap of MMA fans crowding around him, sitting on the floor with their legs crossed, eager to hear another story from uncle Chael.
I feel like Colby’s striking alone is mediocre, but his striking combined with the threat of relentless takedown attempts is awesome. He was only hitting Robbie with these 2 shot combos and then immediately shooting, making it so Robbie couldn’t get a flow going.. Robbie was stuck rolling, dodging punches without firing because he was worried about the take down
Colby is workhorse. His output makes everything he does effective cuz volume can overwhelm skill if it’s relentless.

I think we will see a clinch fest against the cage with each guy struggling to get take downs. I would say Usman gets One early. A lot of it will cancel out and both their striking is awful so this fight is gonna blow

Jeremy Miller. Totally agree. I've said that Woodley stylistically is a far more dangerous match up for Covington than Usman. Woodley has speed, power, defense, accuracy and the best fight IQ in the UFC WW division. His wrestling/grappling matches Usman's, but his striking is way better. Remember, Woodley's renowned for his very solid counter-punching prowess, isn't he?
Groove tax - I like Woodley but Usman completely outclassed him in the grappling department. It wasn't even close.

IMHO, Woodley underestimated Usman and he paid the price for it. No way did Woodley ever think that Usman would be stronger and more powerful than him. It completely shook him, threw him off his game and never recovered. Usman basically used his size, as well as his superior strength and physical power to overpower Woodley, that's all. I'm very sure Woodley is gonna be more prepared both mentally and physically if there is gonna be a re-match.

Usman has good wrestling but Colby is just as good if not better. But the striking is where Colby is far better than Usman. Colby will win the belt against Usman.

Colby looked good but his only problem is the power in his hands. He packs enough power and volume to keep people distracted from the takedown and not walk him down but against Usman I dont think that will work well. Usman is bigger and stronger and I think his wrestling is enough to stop Colbys. While on the feet Usman likes to keep distance and throw power. I don't see Colbys linear basic striking with pillow power getting to the inside effectively against Usman. Usman simply will not respect Colbys power and for the first time Colby will have to worry about getting taken down as well. Usman mixes striking and grappling very well especially up close making his opponents guess if he will throw those heavy hooks or shoot. Even if Colby starts working the dirty boxing Usman can just clinch or level change on Colby. I think Usman takes this by decision because he has the cardio and composure for 5 rounds. But Colby has been improving every fight so hopefully he improves his power and striking because Usman wont just get tired and let Colby flood him. I have a feeling this fight will be competitive but the Colby against Robbie and Rda cant beat Usman.

I used to hate Colby until I took the time to actually read about him. the UFC was actually going to let him go a while back and he was on a win streak. So this whole persona that he puts on is fabricated. If your watching Colby Covington you think the way he acts is real? You might want to get your IQ checked. He's actually a really quiet guy and respectful guy in real life. The nice guy s*** just wasn't making him any money. If you really look at it look how much money he made before and after his personna change.
