The 25 Greatest American Heavy Metal Albums

These are my favourite American
Heavy Metal albums. As always,
some ground rules first.
(1) As the title says the albums have to be
from American artists and they have to be
classic Heavy Metal, that is, no Hard Rock,
no Glam "Hair" Metal and no Progressive Metal.
(2) I decided to include what is by
some sites referred to as US Power Metal
because to my ears doesn't have so many
differences from classic Heavy Metal as its
European counterpart.
(3) Up to 2 albums per artist.

Great idea for a video, US heavy metal is wicked! I would've also included abattoir and savage grace' s debut and to me liege lord's freedom's rise is their finest work i love that album

Why? These are some really good albums. I'm not saying that they are as good as let's say Maiden or Priest, but they deserve their place in the heavy metal canon imo.
