Also, I believe they re-recorded it for Hellblade with Maria's voice aswell. Originally she does not do the "throat chanting" as you notice here in the original song. In Hellblade it's both her and Kai I believe :)
This just shows that native american culture and the ancient tribal cultures all around the world have same altruistic origins. We are all human beings. Nowdays just so estranged from nature and our ancestors aren't we?

NOT vocal fry...it's throat singing. But yes, their voices together are beautiful.
