Naomi, Cindy, Linda & Christy Remember The Dawn Of The Supermodel Era
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 10 ส.ค. 2023
- Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington reflect on the supermodel era with Vogue. ‘Were we all wearing our own jeans?’ Cindy Crawford wonders of the last time she and her fellow original supermodels appeared on the cover of British Vogue together back in 1990 - along with the late Tatjana Patitz - in an indelible Peter Lindbergh image that instantly became part of fashion history.
‘My Levi’s,’ confirms Christy Turlington, as she, Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista all nod in agreement. The four women sat down together to talk fashion in the ’90s, their most memorable shoots, and the sheer magic that they created as a group in an exclusive video for British Vogue. ‘The energy has been amazing,’ Naomi says of reuniting on set for the September 2023 issue of Vogue.
SAG-AFTRA members are currently on strike; as part of the strike, union actors are not promoting their film and TV projects. This video was conducted prior to the strike.

I won’t lie nothing beats their era to fashion, these are true icons
Clothes, music, everything was great back then!! Miss it like crazy!! ❤
Cindy's a man. Probably the others too.
You are right. 😊
There's nothing iconic about them, only their despicable behaviour, that's all.
@@user-qt8od9pi5iNo they're not lol
Linda shouldn’t regret the “I don’t get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day” that line is ICONIC!
Love of money is the root of all evil. Fashion world full of evil.
I agree. Great line!
You're gonna tell her what to regret now?
IMO, she shouldn't have said, because SHE certainly wasn't worth it. I've always thought she looks like an alien. Even more so now. She was very lucky.
@@lurafrance6921 That’s pretty funny. I wonder what you look like. She was the prettiest of all of them.
Naomi seems to remember EVERYTHING! I'm always impressed by how she seems to remember every single name and circumstance from the past without skipping a beat. You can tell she has so much passion for the business
When one has no true family network, those things are pertinent.
Turning to modeling was a big investment for her as she was studying ballet before but was found too tall for the job.
Yo, this girl needs to be canceled. She really does. It’s so weird, it’s like we’ve all forgotten her ties with Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell. It’s like we all forget she was in the mix of that scandal. I don’t know how or why, but she was a part of it.
@@cece8095she was not “in the mix” she was just in a photo with them which is sus but why would someone “cancel” her for it when we dont do it to the presidents who have done the same thing, like please go to bed and read something
@@cece8095I totally agree and anyone trying to silence you is either in denial of the evil elite activities or is covering for them. Thanks for speaking up. So many who idolize these "models" have some serious waking up to do! 😢
I love that Linda said that not listening to her parents advised is something she regrets. What we see in every movie and tv show is parents are wrong and do what you want. I'm glad someone successful is saying I should have considered my love ones advised.
I'd love to hear her stories.
THIS!!!
That's true. In so many movies and series the parents are wrong and kids are right, which is also propaganda. I do think there are times to breakaway, though.
Linda said that because her ex-husband abused her and assaulted other models. He may have been executive management for Elite Models but, she was unaware that he was pursuing others and turned them into victims. Look up the "Me Too" movement.
At the same time, if Naomi would have listen to her parents she would not have been modelling...
THIS IS the content we WANT to see on British Vogue!!!!! ❤🎉
YES ❤🎉
I agree with you 100%. I loved every second of this video. But I also can’t help thinking that younger generations might find it hard to relate to what these legends were talking about? That’s why when you see the clicks of each video on vogue, usually it’s those insta girls/influencers that got the most clicks. And magazines and fashion brands had to cater and appeal to these audience? But I mean putting these four on the September issue of two of the top Vogues is amazing!
Absolutely yes!!!! Vogue you better not put an influencer on after this for the love of god
Do you mean to say younger generations cannot relate to Marilyn Monroe, or Bette Davies or John Ford or Stanley Kubrik or Ava Gardner, or Frank Sinatra, or....? You get the picture......Because these ladies are the same as all of the names I have mentioned before; they are LEGENDS. @@alexlau7286
Yes
The golden age of modelling. There's never been and probably never will be another time like it. These 4 ladies represent that.
It won't that era has died unfortunately..
for sure. they were magical
I guess that you have never heard of Renee Russo, Patti Hansen, Beverly Johnson and Roseanne Vela, photographer Richard Avedon's four heart attacks.
The “5” ladies…including Tatjana Patitz RIP. (all five ladies were considered the original supermodels , all five were in George Michael’s FREEDOM music video and done soooo much work together).
@@annkey4091 guess that you didn't know lm 63 and have heard of many other greats including also Dayle Hadden, Christina Ferrare and countless others. My comment references that particular time which was the 90's and the empowerment these 4 women and others had representing a lot more than pretty faces on magazine covers.
I love when Linda asked Christy about her mentor and referred to her as “Turly” ! 😂 Love it. It showed that their relationship is real.
Christy Turlington has the air of a noblewoman. I think she is so underrated!
Not underrated, I think she's recognized for the goddess she is. I wanted to be her in my youth... still kinda do lol
She is underrated.
She personifies class and elegance, the current day Audrey Hepburn.
Not underrated. She was known as The Face.
Back in the day she was the most sought after of them all. Not underrated in the least
Good for Linda to have the confidence to do this. Glad she's back in the public eye.
I can see she’s having a tough time, and there were cuts in the beginning, 😢she’s incredibly beautiful and so is her personality, with what she has been through that’s hard to maintain, so happy to see her with her girls 🫶🏼♥️
what happened to her?
What's wrong with her ? I noticed they don't zoom into her
She’s so beautiful, regardless of the surgical issues. I’m so happy to see her as part of this!
Christ sake, her face is fuller. And that's it. Anyone would have thought she'd been irreversibly scarred.
Before Instagram and silly “influencers” we had these Queens. 👑💕
And nepo babies who had their parents pay for their status because they can’t ever hold a candle to these living legends.
So true! They are all CLASSY!
but claudia, kate and helena are missing from the group
@@hereandthere6001 Yes to Claudia and Kate, Helena was a step down, same level as Elle, Yasmine….
@@natalyd9674and u a broke person being jealous of rich ppl
I always respected Cindy Crawford for being real and saying 'Even I don't look like Cindi Crawford in the morning.' Meaning, understand that we have a team of professionals to make us look this way, and this is our JOB to look like this.
I'd much rather see these beauties than ANY Kardashian editorial or cover.
The silence after Linda said she had regrets was PALPABLE..the truth there..even the editor didn’t play music. Beautifully imperfect.
I’m not sure what her regrets are being that I haven’t followed her story but I can only imagine.
what are her regrets?
Linda seems like an exacting, demanding kind of lady; a perfectionist. I don't know her, but I would not take those regrets too seriously. Her life could have ended up a lot worse.
@serenevil everyone is talking about her later surgery issues, but my first thought was her marriage to Gérald Marie in1987 who was the head of Elite Model Management's Paris office.
I just wish Karen and Helena was there 😢
I LOVE that Christy Turlington is not botoxed or restylaned!!! She looks gorgeous and she looks her actual age. It's so thrilling to see a women in her mid-50s looking her actual age! She is stunning.
Everyone's different. U can't just assume everyone tolook the same at any age.
Yes! The only natural one!
Christy is aging soooo beautifully!!!
@@omnip3469 I'm just appreciating the fact that she is actually letting her wrinkles show. Like, I have cheek wrinkles like that and you just don't see them on most white models/actresses her age. I'm not blaming the models and actresses, they have a lot of pressure to look a certain way and do a lot of hidden procedures. It's just incredibly refreshing as a mid-50s woman to see a public 'beauty' allow herself to age like this.
Actually, she could have Botox. We’re so used to seeing stars have crazy Botox, but in reality, Botox usually very subtle
I don't know why this brought tears to my eyes 🥺 They were so honest and real, and BEAUTIFUL !! I'm so sad that era of Supermodel is over. We'll never get another group of girls like this again. Both then and now. I miss when models smiled and had personality, and grace. You noticed how they all thanked each other and spoke of highly of their peers and co-workers. Ugh. Just so much fabulousness !
Sometimes it went that way-probably most of the time.. except I remember Naomi was accused of being abusive to an assistant and Linda E was making remarks about not getting out of bed for less than x amount of $. Was it really any different? Better?? Nah not imo… maybe I like Cindy and Christy T better because I never heard them say selfish entitled remarks
I absolutely concur with your comment. Probably one of the best comments here - especially as it resonates with me too.
I’m a 55 year old girl who grew up in late 70s - early 80s, etc.. very grateful to have several magazine subscriptions. I proudly displayed/rotated all my magazines, studied each and every gorgeous page and knew all the models names. Grateful for those memorable times✨💝
@@deniseh3206come on, they were very young and superstars at that time. Of course they might have been spoiled and rude sometimes but they were real and not nepo babies.
I guess you haven't heard anything about the MeToo movement. Linda's ex-husband was chief of Elite Models and is a predator. Models came forward to take him and other men in the industry to French courts for assault only for their cases to be dismissed due to the statute of limitations.
we have cara, gigi, bella and kendall no?
The new era began in 1990, with the era-defining British Vogue cover of Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, and Tatjana Patitz, photographed by Peter Lindbergh, which created such an impression on the fashion world that they came to embody the term "supermodel".Each model had gradually attained fame since the mid-1980s and was now among the industry's top stars. Selected by Lindbergh for the January cover of Vogue, the cover inspired singer George Michael to cast the same five models in the music video for his song, "Freedom! '90"

The amazing thing, is that no other models has replaced these iconic women; they are and always be the supermodels!
Absolutely ❤
@@Bps106 I cannot think of any în today’s modelling scene that stands out.
They are NOT bio women.
As a model should be, they were all natural. No fillers, no cosmetic surgery. Naturally beautiful.
@@Kimber123 exactly. Natural beauties
Naomi just looks STUNNING. She refuses to age. It’s insane
It’s insane. Looks amazing!!!!
Cheek implants
@@baudelaire138- I KNEW some jealous imbecile would say something like, "cheek implants." In the FIRST place, since the beginning of her career when she was VERY young, Naomi Campbell has ALWAYS had high cheekbones, long before people started having "cheek implants." Second, she's the only one on the panel who DOES look "ageless" whether you like it or not. The others look just fine--it isn't against the law to grow old. But facts are facts.
@@baudelaire138-and how do you explain away her fantastic arms, skin, neck, collar bones, the elegance of her movement, her ability to pose?
You cannot.
Beauty is not the most important thing in life but she is undeniably beautiful and has aged extremely well.
Your motives are questionable here!
Bla*K skin is different, get old better than other skins, races
I‘m so glad Linda is in the picture again and I‘m really sad Tatjana is missing. I‘m their age and it‘s wonderful to see that this is a great age being confident and wiser. And those 4 are still so beautiful! Thanks for this video! Loved it.
I thought it was weird they didn’t mention Tatjana when they were comparing the old and new photos.
Omg wake up. Stop putting these dudes on a pedestal. All born male and therefore liars.
I’m this age too. I wanted that huge smile, perfect nose, huge eyes, great legs, height, grace….wait, I had it! I still do! 😅

Todas sao lindas ❤❤❤❤ mas a Naomi continua a mesma aparencia dela nao mudou nada🥰 ❤🇧🇷❤
You see, that's the problem on her level. Naomi is a snob and thinks she's better than everyone. When we all die status don't mean you know what to God.
And it's a good thing? She is acting like she somehow above everyone else. She is just a model.
@@katieb3059I mean she knows her value and not she’s not JUST a model. She’s a supermodel, she’s a role model, she’s the only black role model that black girls could’ve have for a REALLY LONG TIME. Same! They were then (and still are) so classy and natural. I loved Glamour, Cosmo, and Vogue specifically for these women. That George Michael video was EVERYTHING!
I was 12 when I first heard of them. I'm now about to turn 43. Mind you we only relied on a single TV channel in our town in my country and magazines and somehow they were popular in the 3rd world. Christy Turlington for me was the supermodel of the supermodels ... I remember the first time i saw her on a cover i was stunned! To this day i think she is the most beautiful woman that i ever saw ... and her grace and charisma also stunning ... and she is ageing so well, the best for me

Linda has a story to tell. I don’t follow her so not sure if she’s written a book but I think she a lot of wisdom to share. She came across so real and authentic and was real enough to speak with pain in her voice. Speak, Linda!
I was wondering if I was the only one who caught the pain. I tend to be dramatic so I often second guess myself. I'd love to read her life story from her own account
In short, she was a bit of a loud, bratty, asshole in her day and she has since grown as a person and has regrets for her past behavior.
Are you kidding??
I found her stiff and somewhat forced@@radiusnorth1675
Perhaps the pain in her voice was from her incident with coolsculpting. It completely ruined her body and health and really impacted her self esteem and work as a model. I really feel for her, and I believe she does a book!
Here for Naomi.. such a Queen. Pure class. Thank you for everything you do to open doors for those behind you.. you’re the only super that touched inclusion and that’s because you really live and breathe for it! We love you ❤️
Pure class? 😅😂 she assaulted 4 different people! 4! If she's so into inclusion then why did she bully Tyra? I'm no tyra fan either.
@@maximilian2974 Both her and Tyra said that all of that was not true. Multiple models have come out to say how supportive and helpful she was. Her assault cases were more than 15 years ago. It was well before she started doing all of this positive activism. It’s almost like as if people can grow and change. It’s almost like as if she hasn’t been in trouble since.

Yes Cindy! Let them know you could do Vogue, Playboy and the Super Bowl all in one. You can’t be a supermodel without the high mass appeal, no matter how much high fashion snubs it. It’s all numbers at the end of the day.
Honestly Cindy, Stephanie and Claudia were all great at balancing commercial and high fashion modeling. Doing both editorials and runway but not being afraid to do swimsuit calendars, playboy, television hosting etc.
I know Cindy wasn’t a fixture in couture season for example, but she still established great connections with other designers.

Fun fact, When I was in high school I collected photos of Linda, I have thousands saved. She influenced me to cut my hair into a bob and change my hair color often - mostly sticking to a bright auburn. If you see photos of me with red hair it's all because of Linda. Thank you British Vogue for this walk down memory lane. I was a small designer during their era and I don't think you can really understand the term "supermodel" unless you saw how these ladies were everywhere and how absolutely iconic they all were!
I love what Christy said about their early careers, the sense of fun is still there after all these years, the way they interact and throw in a few jokes, it's like they picked up right where they left off, but appreciating everything they got to experience and their memories together, it's pure beauty in a whole different way. 90's supermodels are very special, and loved.

What's crazy is that they ALL look like themselves. I'm not suggesting they haven't had procedures, but whatever they have had done cosmetically, it's very subtle. They look like older versions of themselves, and not weird, puffy strange versions. All still gorgeous.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that at 7:20, Cindy gets to throw the August shade back in Linda's face! If anyone watching this now is not aware, the four of them did a House of Style interview on MTV (with Beverly Johnson and Lauren Hutton), and Cindy brought up her first Vogue cover being an August one, to which Linda cheekily replied that "August isn't a big month." I think it was Lauren who jumped in over the laughter and shouted, "My first month was August too!" The fact that they had a battle over whose FIRST Vogue cover was the most prestigious just shows how insane their fame had become, but they were aware of it by then even if people like Linda never lived down their moments of inadvertent bluntness. Some people resented their one-percenter lifestyles, but most of us loved them for it. They've all made mistakes and even deliberately bad decisions, but I have boundless admiration for how consistently they tried to learn from them, which I think is the number one reason they get invited back for things like this.

This brings back so many great memories. God I miss 90s fashion and my twenties. Nothing will ever compare to the era of the supermodels. Linda Evangelista will always be my favorite, followed by Naomi and Kate.
Linda’s voice is medicine to me. I hope one day she records an audio book! She has an ethereal quality that just puts one at ease.
I so agree with you... I was stunned and almost jumped out of my seat at how sweet her "Oooh..." at 00:37' was, and listened to it 3 times in a row. I will do so, again. There's something so compassionate, empathetic and soothing in her voice...
Omg, stop worshipping these money hungry phonies! If you want to relax, see an acupuncturist or drink herbal tea.
This is why they are iconic. Listen to their words! It's not 'just' the looks.
Linda Evangelista is just other worldly. Her covers will live as iconic.
She was my top top favorite....I love every last one of the 90s supermodel. Naomi was very goddess level for us BLK girls.
rare we find icons obviously fan girling and loving another equally having epic bodies of work that is beyond fashion in influence ….the respect with each other ..almost each one humbling oneself to elevate the other…
this is such a wonderful treat from VOGUE!…
and we are all still here incessantly wanting more from the genius and future works of each of the beautiful giants
Loved this! Thank you Naomi for highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry. ❤
Absolutely!!
Yes ❤
Bravos to Naomi. Christy nodded her head agreeing with Naomi said that she's a nice lady. Cindy and Linda just looked at Naomi with straight face and said nothing, that said a lot. I had rewatched a few times to make sure that I'm not seeing things.
@@emaw3420It’s no surprise they’re racist. I would be more surprised to see if she wasn’t racist. It’s how yt women are.
You have to remember that they are old friend who are still close. Naomi always says that Linda and Christy stood up for her when she was facing discrimination. So they are a bit beyond having to validate each other in this topic. @@emaw3420
I Love how elegant they all look now different versions of elegance Naomi is glamorous elegance Cindy is relaxed elegance Linda is luxury elegance and Christy is sophisticated elegance
Very well said
😂😂😂😂 PERFECT DESCRIPTION!!!❤
Love!!
Nailed it!!! Yes!
Great summary
Please more videos like this one 🤩 they are so inspiring ☺️
THEY WERE AND ARE THE BEST SUPERMODELS! PERIOD ♥ They translated so much through they classiness, beauty, lines, differences ♟Thanks, Vogue, for this interview. It was so good to see them together after all of these years and still standing beautiful in their own way 💗 They inspire so much in a world that become so dull ⭐ Blessings, SUPERMODELS!
I wish I grew up in this era! True class, elegance, and fashion❤️😭
I did, I was a small kid but still…you HAD to be there! They were selling dreams and magic.
Yeah Naomi always behaved so classy!
@@talitam.8414 didn’t have a understanding accessibility to technology that we have now. It’s real creativity and talent to come up with some of images and videos, there were no filters apps and limited photoshop.. the best you were gona get is a talented makeup artist and hair stylist and a model who knew how to make the cloths work !! , and you have to remember the quality of the cosmetics and hair care and tools has improved by like 1000X in the last 30 years.. it was primitive stuff back then .. in the late 70s 80s and 90 super models just as famous as any singer, athlete or movie star and they big personality’s to match there looks. The fun and optimism you see for that time has to do with the excitement around the coming of 2000 and the ability for people to be openly indulgent and the view on very wealthy people were different in all aspects of life. I dont think you would want to live then given that, you would have to give up so much, internet was very rare, no smart phone or iPhones, iPads, amazon,TH-cam ,Netflix, streaming of any kind was out of the questions and computers were so painfully slow and not to mention social issues like inclusion and diversity and women’s rights, LGBT issues non were really benign addressed, and very male dominated and chauvinistic. Modeling and fashion was one of the few places where different people are accepted and it was still very restrained.
@@user-qu3oz5vm8p you are an icon
same, cigarettes, sex, hard drugs & partying. I missed my calling.
The insights behind the fame and glamour kept me engaged. Shout out to British Vogue for blessing us with their inner views (not a typical interview). 90s glamour was/is EVERYTHING! Linda, Naomi, Cindy, and Christy TRULY epitomize what it means to be a SUPERMODEL! Charisma, beauty and brains coincided with a passion for the art of fashion. RuPaul's biggest hit describes them to a T! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I just ADORED all of them back in the day, bought every copy of Vogue i could get my hands on ( which i still have) This was such a treat thank you Edward and all the team.
Iconic! Its crazy how much the camera loves Linda those last shots she instantly sticks out
I love that Naomi touched upon the fact that the industry is a lot more inclusive these days 🤩
Why did she have to WAIT 30 years to Say that NOW? She's just an opportinistic liar
I love Naomi. She is right about timing. It's everything. She is an amazing humanitarian & Icon.❤️
@@saidaboubakar5039 I agree.
She has said it MULTIPLE times on her TH-cam channel, loser@@saidaboubakar5039
@@saidaboubakar5039BECAUSE it took 30 years for the industry to DIVERSIFY. She, Iman, & BethAnn Hardison have advocated for decades for BLACK & IPOC models. Please do the research...
It’s so important for young generations to learn about these guys ! They were true models - not influencers ! They did it all with their natural looks, not as Nepo babies !! They worked so bloody hard - we need to celebrate real talent in this age of no actual talent or hard work to become famous.
Absolutely, these girls were like goddesses, they were a 10. It seems like today most known models are just there for connections rather than looks, plus social media sells a lot too. People don’t buy as many magazines. It’s a very different time.
Spot-On!! They had true class, worked very hard and were just beautiful!!! To see them gather and still be epitome of class and yes, Christy T, thank you for being so naturally you. Let's hope they do runways more in the future.
S o well said.!!!!
They’re all connected to human traffickers
And they were real back in the day, no plastic surgery. Real authentic beauties!!!
Looking at them in their model days, they seemed to have so much fun. Everyone from the models to the crew to the photographers, designers, no one treated it like just a job, they all had fun together and you can see how bright they felt in the pictures. I wish i could time travel to any one of those pictures to enjoy the moments with them.
I was collecting their pictures in my childhood they were like paper doll Barbies so influencial. Cindy was always my favorite model and it changed time to time to Kate Moss for her iconic style, Linda and Carla Bruni for their aura, Claudia Schiffer for her Chanel ads, Christy Turlington for her 90s Maybelline ads, Stephanie Seymour for best editorials...They were like role models they never knew. I think they should do another cover as 90s top-models cover with Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni, Stephanie Seymour, Yasmin Le Bon, Nadja Auermann, Karen Mulder, Niki Taylor, Bridget Hall, Tyra Banks, Elle MacPherson...
BRITISH VOGUE is taking the lead!!! With all the Kardashian trash going over and over in American Vogue and we are all fed up with that content, this video is so positive and a breath of fresh air, even when is very short lenght, you can see they are all very good friends and care about each other, TRUE FRIENDSHIP. That was their era back then and they talk about their experience to the audience and yet, we can relate. Is very very lovely to see their lines of expression as grown up woman who aged gracefully and with elegance. Words of wisdom. Love them all.
oh my god yes. Class.
Yes why don't you bring up the Kardashians 😂😒😒
I LOVE Naomi’s response to the biggest difference today versus in the 90s
My sentiments Exactly. It was a Fabulous era, but time to move on to inclusivity & broad acceptance.
Absolutely. Wish we could have heard everyone's answers to that one.
@@danieldumas7361 Yes.. and hopefully we can move onto something better relatively soon.
Well it was more PC BS. Inclusivity is okay to a point, but some things don’t need to be broadcast or put on magazine covers.
@@patr70 All I want to see is a Model, any Model, short, tall, heavy, colored, any one of them
Sacher along the cat-walk with something that's actually Wearable! Like back then.
Loved seeing all of favs back together again sharing so much wisdom! The imprint you’ve left in the fashion industry will continue to inspire generations in the future. Most importantly the ways in which you’ve lived your lives, cared for others, established yourselves as business leaders all while looking absolutely gorgeous, will allow young people to see how prayers become divine reality❣️
Truly historical....and magnificent...we love you our Iconic Supermodels....your beauty is forever etched in our memories....including our childhoods...and growing up years. Thank you Vogue for this amazing tribute to these amazing ladies...
The cheers from the crew made this video, for me. You can tell how wonderful it is to have them back together!
Same
Oh my! I’m 49 and let me tell you if you weren’t around, these women were everything! They really were. They were the first models we knew, we followed, we done their workout videos, I love these ladies! ❤❤❤❤
This was so wonderful to see! So sad missing Tatiana 💔 Would have loved to also see Claudia Schiffer, Veronica Webb, Helena Christensen and Shalom Harlow
Claudia for sure
I appreciate the part where they are sharing their life lessons. They each have overcome their own struggles, and are stronger for it. Isn’t that what life is all about. I love what they embody now, much more than what they became famous for. Wishing them joy and success in the coming years! Especially Linda, there are so many more wonderful opportunities to uplift women ahead!!
As someone who was around in era of the supermodel (George Michael: Freedom), I loved this so much. Age and wisdom cannot be explained to youth. Beauty truly is waisted on the young.
For sure!
I’m seeing Linda lying on the floor singing…
The song Freedom was a pivotal time, for me at least. It was so obviously talking about being closeted and as a 12 y/o boy I found some comfort in it.
@@louiez.9748Yes, I thought then Wow what eyes she's got! How stunning and sexy she is( about Linda in" Freedom")
OMG! The long-awaited reunion of the Originals!
The applause from the crew at the end was very nice.
I'm so sorry I saw this late. But I would like to take a moment to thank my all time favorite SUPEREST of Super Models for coming out of the shadows and showing us her beautiful face once again. LINDA EVANGELISTA You have been dearly missed lovely lady! Seeing you in this interview literally brought tears to my eyes. You are just as beautiful as you ever were! Much love Linda and to All of our Super Models!
Naomi hasn’t changed, she looks the same!! Ageless and STUNNING ❤
She is so beautiful, statuesque and regal ❤👑
I actually like her better now, but she has not aged a bit. Goddess. Also Christy and Cindy aged so gracefully.
Naomi.. has aged BUT her face is filled with Filler & her features adjusted nicely. She looks very feline now with those extreme cheekbones. She's the Youngest of the group by almost 5-6 years.
@@user-kf8wb2cq4fChristy and Naomi are just a year apart
@@Linda-dc7rl ... I was Referring to Cindy pushing 58 and Linda pushing 59.
You guys are Legends and were the reason I fell in love with high fashion!! Linda was so confident and a Rock Star, I cried the first time and saw Naomi because she was my twin and had full LIPS, Cindy was drop dead, her hair and MOLE always stole the show, and Christy was the cute one who never took a bad pic! Super Models ruled the 80’s and 90’s! 👑💕
Omg, stop worshipping these phonies. All bio males, Cindy the most obvious.
Their relationships are so real, and not pretentious at all like younger gen celebrities. Love their vibes together!!!
Absolutely wonderful interview and ladies. They deserved the title “Super Models” not only for the beauty, integrity, work ethic, respect for each other and their photographers and mentors and continuing with those attitudes today. Exceptional role models (kids listen to these mothers - they have seen it all).
I’m just in tears 😭 right now!!!! Overjoyed HAPPINESS!!! Yes, BRAVO TO LINDA!!!!
Sing the SUPER MODEL ERA ended, there’s been NO comparison!!! Naomi is STILL SLAYING!!!! Cindy is too but in a different way! Christy looks like time stood still for her, FABULOUS!!!!! THEY ARE FASHION!!!
Hahahaha
Cindy's slaying as manly
"THEY ARE FASHION!" Love it! ❤Rest in paradise Tatjana Patitz and George Michael. 😔🙏🏾❤️🕊️
Linda should not regret her $10,00 comment. She knew her self worth and said it. Do you think a man would have regretted that line or been lambasted for it?
I always thought that was a joke that just landed badly
It's nice that see these ladies just being human and interacting with each of as friends with a shared experience.
Loved this!! Thank you ladies 🤍
Between Linda's "Don't ever say you won't get out of bed for less than $10k/day, and Cindy [looking at Linda]" My first Vogue. It was *August*".... Linda was definitely the most amusingly quotable one. Even if she is a little mortified now, don't ever change, Linda! :)
Agree! I loved Linda’s spicey personality. I always saw her as this free spirited, confident cool girl, who spoke her mind. She wasn’t afraid to take risks, like her bold hair cuts and color. I was inspired by her as a teen to dress more creatively and take chances on my hair and to not be so cookie cutter.
I don't know how anyone could separate the concept of supermodel from their rich b-tch moments. I totally get why Linda, who just oozes sweetness and vulnerability, would cringe now. But those moments were absolutely part of the mystique! To me the most interesting thing about the 10K remark is that as far as I know (and correct me if I'm wrong), she didn't say it on camera. If she did, I never saw the footage. It shows how famous she was that something she said could go viral even when we had no evidence of it besides a reporter's word.
This was my Era , when I was doing some modeling , looking up at these Supers , getting back together and sharing their Memories , 30 years later , and still caring for each other . Christy strikes me as wise , Cindy as caring , Linda as mysterious , and Naomi as magical .
Ah the 80's! The New Wave in fashion, music and overall vibe and these faces & personalities that remain beautiful & strong! Loved this segment Vogue!
We are missing Claudia Schiffer no?
Cindy saying that sometimes she didn't feel good enough is mind-blowing! I always see a lot of confidence on her work ❤
