I recently purchased the LED kit for the Maule and installed it in my 1.3m pa18- was replacing the wing set due to an unscheduled landing in a newly planted tree anyway, so what the heck. Right? The additional landing light makes a huge difference in evening light. When it drops below the treeline, orientation is immediately obvious. I've got 100's of flights on this plane. It travels easily. It's fairly durable and a great every day flier. And it's not a show piece plane. So, I can fly it in unfamiliar locations with confidence. Thanks for the video!! 👍

Nice to hear about your light mod. I know the stock lights are more like the real thing but Maule lights are truly fantastic looking.
