Thank you for this explanation! I've only been using general trims at the radio. But...Your setup sounds like how every plane should be: Flying straight with neutral inputs, at any speed, and controls that are not coupled (by coupling them together in a Mix instead). I'd not thought of that! Again, thank you for the explanation!
THANK YOU, thank you for this RECORDING! VERY VALUABLE comments. VERY WELL AND FACTUALLY EXPLAINED! No rush, no delays, no shouting! Just right! REGARDS. I have a question, can this EPP model be protected or the color changed: with varnish or heat shrink foil?
I have seen many change colors but really paint only... BUt if it won't melt, and it doesn't add much weight (I have seen resin coating that added a lot of weight) should be ok.
Michael, Um, FMS has the PA-18 listed in their ‘Beginner’ category, but in the description it states it is Intermediate. My question is, is it a true beginner airplane, or is it a true intermediate airplane??? Thank you! PS - Um, the left pull upon increasing the throttle is called ‘P-Factor’.
It really is both... It is a perfect, easy to fly beginner airplane, but I think can even be fun for an advanced pilot, but definitely for intermediate as well... Kind of one you can start and improve with.
Flaps setup - you mentioned using the settings in the manual. I can’t find any reference to flap settings in the manual. Even the control throws listed in the manual look like they were copied from the 1300mm, except for rudder which seems correct.
Yes, at the beginning of the video I said it was just three simple screws. There is very few clothes that I would say just about everyone go buy one. You will not be sorry. I have a link below you can click so they know you with the help of this video series
I've owned and flown at least 100 tail draggers and don't remember to have the left torque issue. I guess it's because I am slightly aggressive and take offs are very short. Nothing wrong with the 2nd take off.
I have that plane however it had an accident in the water so i had to change the ESC and the reflex is dead .. the motor runs ok revs with control , lights work but nothing else all servos dead , can this be the receiver is faulty or servos are just dead ? but all of them?
You have to remove the Reflex possibly. PLug servos straight to receiver, or try another reciever. All the servos didn't die simultaneously... I am sure of that
Can't go wrong watching this channel, I find it quite uplifting and educational. Thanks.

i stepped up to a 13x8 master air screw on my Pa-18 and it had a ton more vertical climb out and aerobatics jumped to 10
Thank you! I love mixes!
I shared them at about 25:46
I should have waited until the video was over before asking for the mixes haha… Thank you for the info!

Wonderful plane. I love it. Is it possible and easy to disemble the plane to transport to the field in a car. Thx.

Would all of these settings apply to the 1300 as well?
Most likely very close. Every individual plane will be a bit different
