Great video. I dont have time/patience for this type of work but I love the results. These steps are really necessary to get the right metal appearance for KT, Panther, Jagdpanther etc.

You used same putty as I do for tezture...its great with drop of water and easy to sand after if too much also green stuff for beads as it is usable for 2 hors or so ...milliput for me doesnt work as its water based and tends to stick to everything and when hangling it...comes off on your hands...maybe I need let it set a bit longer also I use greenstuff now for zimmerite with the mastertools zimmerite rollers...great tool btw...I like your style Lucasz,you approach models like I do
Great work! Really looking forward to the next episode! On the front plate, what gun do you reckon made the large impact? Soviet 152 Howitzer? Looks too big for any American guns… Just curious
One thing about hot rolled steel texture, shouldn't imperfections be composed only from pits? With how sheet is rolled there is no way that there could be material added onto surface. Usually imperfections are caused by material sticking to the rollers, non-metallic additions from rollers pressed into sheet, chipping and cracking. Other than that surface imperfections are created by years of corrosion which is often visible in restored vehicles, but this also in form of pits(after removing rust). Slapping putty on top of thicc armor is okay, but imo all excess layers should be scrapped away. This way it wouldn't be looking like casted steel.

Maybe it is too big.:) It wasnt made as a straight shot but more smth like "slipped". I hope it is good word to explain my plan :)

Yes, they are. And they are glued with the wheels... and they will be painted as one piece. Im going to make separate video about it. :)

Oh, it's very easy - just round a piece of metal on the topothpick. Form it, sand a bit to have round edn and glue to the toothpick. :)
