It all depends on the individual needs of each. There is no formula here. Someone is used to living on a grand scale and has never counted money, while someone will calculate all the steps. At the same time, everyone can be happy in their choice.
In Egypt stuff is cheap so if you want to live alone and rent a house that will be like 800$ or 900$ monthly if you want to buy a house it will be in a range from 1 or 2 million Egyptian pounds which is like 20 thousand dollars

In my point of view, Egypt is world No.1 tourist distinction even before this New Cairo ciy and the Admin capital now under construction. As a frequent visitor to Egypt, I think there are abundant anoying things that disappointing any tourist and should be readdressed seriously. The taxi drivers are curious and always ask silly questions as well as they are ready to cheat you whenever possible. There are no fix prices, therefore bargaining is the sole way for shopping. If you want to take pictures, you will be under severe verbal attack from any passerby. Videos and photo shots are widely considered as an offensive and security threatening acts. You need to obtain an advance permit from the Ministry of Information before you try to shoot memorial videos or take pictures. If you pay tips fewer than what is expected, the penalty comes soon in a form of slow and bad service. I do love Egypt and Egyptians, otherwise I would never write this hard comment. Viva Egypt. Thanks.

It appears Egypt's attempt to build a city to keep all of the poor people out is succeeding quite well. So well in fact that if you told me that this was South Florida I would believe you. Why else would everything be in English?
My friend egyptian goverment built thousands of good compounds for poor people wuth garden , big supermarkets , and school into these compounds , especially in cairo and alexandria . That never happened before from any previous goverments.
Inspite of all economic difficulties, egypt has a massive construction movement almost everywhere .

not sure what is nice about that! this is not how real Egypt is. Some people like consumerism lifestyle, but what is genuine about Egypt is its surreal atmosphere and simple people not this fake western identity that doesn't belong there.
It is important to show the whole world that Egypt does not stand still. And it is not a ruined story, as European and American publications want to present and show. Egypt is developing and keeping up with the times; there is no need to try to force it to its knees again and force it to show only its ancient history. Yes, Egypt has a great and incredible historical heritage, but you cannot live in the past. I admire the way Egypt is developing without losing its historical authenticity.
