Thanks for your question, if Centella Asiatica is included in a product with other active ingredients, fragrances, or preservatives, those components might cause irritation rather than the Centella itself. Although Centella Asiatica can work well with a lot of different actives, modeate to high concentrations of Vitamin C can be an issue, as high concentrations might cause sensitivity in some individuals. This goes for higher concentrations for your AHAs and BHAs as well.
I got mine from TJ maxx (if you live in the US) but you can also order online from places like style Korean or stylevana. The prices are very reasonable on those sites.
Yes. Well, the size and packing density of corneocytes in the stratum corneum affect the skin's ability to retain moisture. With that said, larger corneocytes with compact packing create a denser barrier, reducing TEWL. Small corneocytes with a tightly packed structure contribute to a more effective barrier function. This then minimizes gaps between cells, reducing the escape of water vapor from the skin (TEWL).
The Vietnamese would make this pennywort extract drink that reduces inflammation in the body and soothe gastric issues, however this drink is loaded with sugar.😂 It tastes similar to wheatgrass.
@@ArsalanAspires Yes, it’s refreshing! It’s sold in many Vietnamese restaurants and bakeries here in the USA. Or just make it at home, pennywort is sold fresh at Asian supermarkets. Just blend clean pennywort with water in a blender, strain out the juice and add sweetener and ice. We make it during the summer time and it’s consistently heals the body of heat rashes or any internal inflammatory issues.
